Very rude when the guy answered the phone. Sorry but that's not the way to gain new customers.

I am beyond frustrated with Home Heating and honestly feel like my trust in HVAC companies has been…read morecompletely shattered. We spent thousands of dollars on a brand-new air conditioning system based on Home Heating's recommendations and promises. Before the installation, Johnny came to our home, evaluated everything, and confidently told us the system they were recommending would easily cool our home by 10 degrees from the outside temperature. We specifically asked questions about our existing furnace and whether it was sufficient for the new A/C system. We were told our 2010 furnace was a great unit and that there was absolutely no reason to replace it. We trusted their expertise. The problem is that the A/C never worked from day one. The first warm day, when it was only around 80 degrees outside, we turned on the brand-new system. The house never dropped even one degree. Not one. The unit ran continuously while the house got hotter and hotter. To their credit, they came back several times trying to figure out the problem. They checked equipment, adjusted vents, ran tests, and spent days at our home. But after all of that, we still did not have functioning air conditioning. Then came the "solution" that permanently altered our home. They installed a huge return air system that left us with a large opening in our hallway and a massive silver duct running through our garage. It is ugly, intrusive, and not something we would have ever agreed to if we knew it wouldn't solve the problem. We have three young children and were concerned from the start about having this large return in a high-traffic hallway. And after all of that? It did absolutely nothing. The house still would not cool. Eventually we were basically told there wasn't much more they could do unless we wanted to spend even more money. Let that sink in. We spent thousands of dollars on an A/C system that has never worked as promised, allowed major modifications to our home based on their recommendations, and then were left with an unusable system and a suggestion that we spend even more money. Most families don't have thousands of dollars lying around to throw away. We certainly don't. We saved, budgeted, and trusted the professionals we hired. Instead, we ended up with a house that still doesn't cool, a giant duct system we never wanted, and a monthly payment for equipment that has never delivered what we were promised. The worst part is the loss of trust. When you hire professionals, you expect them to know what they're doing. If the system they recommended couldn't properly cool our home, that should have been identified before installation--not after we've already spent the money. We paid for air conditioning. We got excuses, a giant hole in our hallway, and a system that has never worked. I cannot recommend Home Heating based on our experience.

My experience with BullsEye was fantastic and there's a short story to explain how they completely…read moreearned the FIVE stars I gave. Tech came out to replace a leaking water heater in the crawlspace of my basement after they special ordered my 50gal "low boy" short and wide heater. They said it would take all day and require 2 techs so I was prepared for the 7 hours they ended up being there. I was sad to come home to find pretty large dirt tracks on doors/walls and some scratches and chips on a few door jams, as well as some wet carpet. I am a clean person and the whole house had just been painted and re-carpeted so I was upset. I sent pics and an email to them wanting to see what the response would be and they blew me away with fantastic customer service! The next day the GENERAL MANAGER Nic came to my house to personally clean up the dirt and mess and told me what happened after speaking to the techs and service manager. The unit they removed was very dirty and wet and although they bagged it and tried everything to be careful, the unit itself barely fits through doors. One of the techs ended up going and getting a carpet cleaner to clean my carpet and that is why it was wet! The manager spent almost 2 hours at my home, cleaning and checking everything. This is where it gets over the top with the customer service. While down in the crawl space he found a leak in one of the pipes, totally unrelated to the water heater, dripping onto our furnace. He called a tech out to fix it for me, completely free and they both were in my home checking everything and making it right for a long time, showing me everything they had done and walking me through it. He even offered to take money off my water heater install but I didn't take it, as the service call for the leaking pipe would have been over $200 for sure. I am SO GLAD I FOUND BullsEye! As a small business owner myself, it means a lot when you make things right. They went overboard and I will tell everyone I know about the awesome service I got with them!

Wish I'd read the Yelp reviews first. It started off so well. Quick response, showed up on time,…read morecourteous and helpful. Details aside, after two separate visits for the same issue and $800 spent, I was still left with a broken tankless water heater. In desperation, my general contractor took a look, did a simple line purge, and ended up fixing it in 30 minutes. I know diagnostics can be difficult, but Bullseye ended up charging me trip fees for every visit (vs. treating it as a continued problem) and did not offer any money back after misdiagnosing and not solving my problem. They said they couldn't offer money back b/c, what if I was making it up? I kind of get it, but I offered to show them in person (or could have done facetime) that their two solutions (get a new hot water heater was first visit, put in a filter was second visit) didn't work. I could have easily given them proof. They declined. So...courteous, timely, tried their best, but I'm left with an $800 bill, after TWO separate visits, and they fixed nothing. Worst of all, they did not stand behind their work.

Olsen's was fair, communicative, respectful, and diligent during the process of repairing the damage. Eric was especially great: responsive, professional, and courteous. Olson was supposed to service my Triangle Tube boiler due to a product recall. After the "repair"…read morewas done (there are now new problems caused by their "repairs"), I was sent a bill in excess of $800. Triangle Tube had informed me that they would provide the parts and cover all expenses. Olson said that was incorrect and that I had to pay for all labor and travel costs. I indicated that I didn't think it was right that I had to pay anything because of a recall. Olson said they would reduce the amount down to $400. Triangle Tube said that was ABSOLUTELY wrong. All Olson had to do was submit the required paperwork and they would be compensated. They sent emails to Olson (I was copied on those emails) indicating the above AND they spoke to them on the phone. So you would think this issue was resolved. But no, today I receive a past due notice for $400. I would not/will not use them for anything in the future and would certainly NEVER recommend them to anyone!
