Customer service person was not helpful at all to move the situation forward and basically told us we can take our business elsewhere. So, someone should have called to reschedule by May 5. This never happened!! On May 8, I reached out on their company website without any response. On May 9, 2022, I called and got transferred to their answering service. Again, there was no call back! I did the same outreach the next day and Wednesday May 11,2022. I had also written an email to the owner , Mike on May 10,2022. There were a total of 5 outreach attempts without a response, only leaving my cell number for them to call back. Finally, I was fed up with their lack of responsiveness to my calls and e-mails. When I left my third phone message today with their answering service, I told the receptionist that if I didn't get a call back today that I would be writing a negative review and I would be taking them to small claims court to get half of my contract money ( $543 ) returned to me. Only today did I finally get a call back from the owner Mike. He was nasty, when he should have been apologetic to me. He told me that he's dropping me as a customer. He said he was going to come to my home , which I took as an implied threat to me and my family. He also lied to me and told me that he contacted me 5 times. This is a blatant lie as I just spent the last few hours checking my phone records for my mobile phone and landline. He only called back after I threatened to take him to court for breach of contract, which seemed to be what he was doing by avoiding calling me back and providing the services that I paid for in my yearly contract. I strongly urge anyone considering doing business with this company to seek another alternative. He is a nasty owner and can not be trusted. It is virtually impossible to reach anyone by phone and they certainly don't value their customers. I told him that I would give home 3 days from today to return half of my contract money. I don't expect that he will do this. So, I will likely be seeing him court in the near future!! I'd like to give ZERO stars, but apparently I can't do it !!

My complaints were brushed aside as if my fault, like when I complained that the air conditioner does not reach the top floor adequately or that the ceiling repaired back after being opened to repair flute. I was told that "awe are not carpenter." I am currently sweating and using a fans on the upper level of my home, I foolishly paid in full thinking my warranty would be honored. the job was done in April of 2022. I sent him photographs of my old boiler that was in very bad conditions, he recommended replacing it as other companies did and gave us an estimate. His price was the most competitive so we decided to hire them. After replacing the new boiler I had to call National Grid to come and turn our gas back on which was only possible a few days later. Adrian came by again after to verify everything and making sure all radiators were working properly! After dealing with not so honest plumbers in the past and having to be without heat from almost 3 weeks, we are so glad we found ProCore. Definitely recommend it.

When my Mitsubishi central air conditioning system in my Manhattan apartment (Chelsea) abruptly stopped working in the middle of a heat wave the night before the July 4th holiday I was worried I would wait days (even weeks) to find a qualified repair. I called six different NYC HVAC repair companies and either couldn't reach anyone or was told that their first appointment was two weeks away. When I called ProCore (on the recommendation of a friend) I was immediately connected to a technician who listened to the situation and told me he would be there the next morning "first thing". At 8:30am two technicians arrived and immediately got to work. They solved the problem, fixed the system, and even made some minor adjustments to make my system more energy efficient. They were friendly, courteous, professional and obviously very good at their job. Their price was very reasonable - to the point where I gave both of them a little extra to thank them for their excellent work and for coming on a holiday early morning. My apartment immediately started cooling down and the system is working better than ever. Just to illustrate the professionalism: both technicians put "covers" on their shoes that they brought with them so they didn't bring any dirt on to my floor (without even being asked to do that). I wish I could give 0 stars…read more I wanted a whole home humidifier installed in my apartment. Jim's son came next day and installed it back in October 2018. It never performed the way it should have, and Jim would not come take a look at it, only trouble shoot over the phone, and tell me Im doing it wrong. After calling the manufacturer, I was told the problem was that it was hooked up to the cold water line, when it needs to be on the hot water line. Took 3 months of back and forth and ignoring my calls for Jim to finally come and switch the line over at the end of January 2019. Almost immediately after entering my home to make the repair, Jim insulted me, saying I don't know anything about these units, and this is the first one in the thousands that he's installed that didn't work properly. He then over tightened the self piercing saddle valve (which I have since learned are against code in the state of New Jersey), causing it to leak. He became confrontational and blamed me for this leak. He then put some tape and puddy on the leak and got it to stop long enough for him to tell me I was all set and left. Sure enough 2 days later, I came home to puddles of water leaking from my HVAC closet. Jim wouldn't return my phone calls and I had to call in an emergency plumber to fix the situation. They told me that self piercing saddle valves are against code in NJ and are a cheap short cut from doing it right and prone to leaking. I paid over $700 to fix this and install the proper shut off valve, and remove the dead saddle valve on the cold water line. Also after installing this humidifier, my furnace now "short cycles", because its not getting enough air to the furnace as air is being borrowed for the humidifier. Ive called a real company to handle this problem. Overall Jim does not know which humidifier to install based on my HVAC needs. He cuts corner with parts that are against code and has created more problems that he solves. My advice call someone else, or at the very least dont let him put a self piercing saddle valve in your house.
