After 3 years of business here and meeting owner Bill S. I'm changing my review. I've done business here on my 26ft rv a few times. I trusted and received quality work at higher than normal prices. July 2018 when I returned for an engine replacement on my RV. Svc mgr. Brian knew me as credible customer and took RV in with no paperwork or estimates, just a verbal for 25 hours later at $100 per hour. We agreed I'd purchase engine for $2400 and have shipped. Ok so I also had many new accessories that they themselves Installed months earlier. I expected a bill in the $3500 range. Each time they encountered some other accessory they needed, several weeks went by with no communication from them. So I went in and worked it out. Usually me finding the part myself. So in October after there for three months I follow up with service mgr Brian. He advised me engine was installed, but there was an exhaust and transmission issue. We agreed they would work it out and call me. Still no cost was given, no paperwork, or further estimates. He verbally said around $4000. Four more months went by and on February 6 I called. Spoke with the business owners daughter Faith and explained I needed status and costs. This woman was so nasty rude and unprofessional not to mention way out of line for any human. She actually sent me an email blaming me for no communication and stated I never paid anything yet. I told her I've been communicating and I never hear a thing back, nor have I ever received a bill of any kind. She went on to threaten me in the email with district court. At this point I spoke to her dad Bill S. He advised me of a $6500 bill and another $800 estimate for exhaust. He clarified that there was never a transmission issue, as his service mgr. Brian mentioned back in August. I explained this was way out of my budget, and that it was never communicated to me as the costs accrued. He seemed eager to then offer me 2 choices. One pay $4000 they complete the job and I leave. Or two. He pay me $1000 and I sign title over to him. I'm sorry but it took me a few days more to decide what to do. So I agreed to pay the $4000 and get my RV back. This was actually what I expected all along. I'm still baffled why the service mgr. mentioned transmission issues in October. But I suspect they had conspired to steal my very good conditioned RV all along. I partly concluded this because they have an older model RV of very similar make that the business owns. It's not in very good shape. Ok so that all said. I went to pay the $4000 as we agreed. He refused to take my payment on credit as I have always paid with. He was very very mean and nasty, downright ugly and demanded cash. I told him it was impossible and not fair as I was known as a good credible customer and always paid. At this point I explained how special the RV was to me, as my dying father and I enjoyed his last days together. He was so mean, made me, a grown man, with a terminal illness cry. He then if you can believe it, got even uglier. He stated to me that his business had quite a footprint in the community and he volunteered and did lots of other things for the community. Last thing he told me was that, he would just take me to district court and pursue full payment over $6k. He said that because of his footprint in the community I'd have a hard time getting a judgement against him. He said to clear my things out of RV and leave. Also said if they found any personal items they would call me. Since the day he stole my RV. I have emailed twice and called once as I did leave a few personal items I wanted back. Of course no response. The next day, I saw his beat up old RV parked next to mine at the service bay. He was no better than a true thief stealing a vehicle. And to think he thinks that the judges in the community would favor him. It's downright disgusting. Since then I've gone to district court and advised of his treatment of me. Shame about it all. I even did end up raising g the cash but he refused. It was his plan to steal my RV all along. So please. be aware of their practices. read more
