We got a new TPO…read moreroof last May - when it finally started raining here, I noticed that there was substantial ponding and most of the canales were not carrying any water off the roof. We're talking ten days or more after rain - there's water on the roof. Now the house has signs of water intrusion. Many calls to Paramount (or, as it turns out, to one of their contractors), there is still no plan or timeline to fix this. The contractor twice suggested that since the City had inspected the roof, there couldn't possibly be any problems. Not only is that logic ridiculous, it turns out Paramount never had the roof inspected. As far as the City knows, the work was never performed. At the moment, there is a thick layer of ice on one part of the roof that never drains. The snow from a week ago is melting each day, but since it can't drain, it refreezes every night. So, unless you really like to be stressed out each time it rains or snows, or unless you enjoy getting on your roof with a broom, cuidado.

Anyhow he looked at my roof and then said he'd send me an estimate and I never heard from him again. I've looked at the reviews and it's odd that he has some good ones. Turns out we had issues with our roof that not many wanted to deal with. Another roofer who came to look at our roof told us why we weren't getting any follow-up and then he didn't follow-up either. The problem with contractors in this city is a lot of them are flakes. They don't show up or they don't follow through. I won't say he's a bad roofer. I would just hope that contractors could be a little more professional overall.

For the quote, they showed up on time, and even gave a "we are thirty minutes away" notice. On site for the bid, Luis was respectful and courteous and answered all our questions. After a few conversations, his bid was competitive, detailed, and clear. He did the work in less than promised. His crew protected the underlying property, and cleaned up afterwards so it was literally impossible to tell his crew had been there - except of course for the beautiful new roof.
