We love how easy and convenient is is to get our photos taken here! Josh is so kind and easygoing, we were comfortable with him since the beginning. The studio is so self explanatory, the only issue is trying not to come back so often! Josh walks you through everything but really, you're in control of your photo shoot. Props and different size stools and chairs are there, and you take as many photos at the click of a button that you're holding! 5/5: We had such a pleasant and satisfying experience here! Joshua, the owner, sent super clear instructions before our visit, so finding the studio was easy. It's in an apartment building called The Solair on the second floor; we just parked in guest parking, waited in the lobby, and contacted him when we arrived. He came down to get us and walked us to his studio, which was spacious, clean, and really pretty. There were tons of props and setups available, but since we were just doing a Christmas card shoot, we didn't need much. The studio is also dog friendly, so we were able to bring our two pups for the photos, which was a huge plus. We booked the 25-minute session with two featured photos. Within 24 hours, we got all of our shots and were able to pick a few favorites for edits and prints. The price was very reasonable, and the quality of the photos was excellent. This place was INCREDIBLE!!! I can't sing enough praises about this self-photo studio. From booking to receiving final photos, everything was smooth and seamless. It was super easy to schedule an appointment, and there were very detailed instructions about where to park/enter the garage etc, which made finding everything very easy. The studio is clean and so professional looking. There were 2 monitors: one live preview, and one that showed the most recent photos taken. It was such a great set up to experiment with angles and poses, with zero pressure since you're taking the photos yourself with a remote clicker. The studio owner was waiting off to the side and you could call him if you wanted to change the framing of the camera (full body, mid, etc), which allowed for a variety of shots! There were some simple props available, such as stools, blocks, fake cameras available. All the pictures were sent digitally the next day. I honestly can't wait to return, we're for sure coming back for more photos! read more

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience there - Joshua was very helpful and nice during the whole process - he is also very communicative via e-mail when you are receiving pictures. I booked an appointment for last minute holiday card photos, and the experience was great! There was a screen set up, so you can pose. A clicker so you can take your own photos, and a preview screen so you can see your photos ahead of time. We easily took 100 photos and countless poses in the time allotted to us. This place was an awesome experience! I have a 6 month old baby so it was really difficult to pinpoint a time and place that would work with a professional photographer so we decided to replicate our Korea photo studio experience at In the Square. We were going to be late so I called Josh and he said it was fine so I appreciated that (but I think it also depends on if anyone else booked another time). FINDING THE PLACE: the instructions sent was pretty easy but once we went up the residential parking, we got mixed up if we were supposed to be on the gate opening in front of us or the left. It's the one in front right as you go up the ramp. But other than that, it was simple to find the place granted it is KTOWN. EXPERIENCE: very seamless. You point and shoot. There are 2 screens to see the photos after you click on the button so id recommend looking at the picture once or twice after you press the button once and then start pressing away if it looks good. Especially with a baby, they move their heads so much that each click is a different expression lol. Josh gave us a little extra time too since no one was right after us and he gave us a time remaining warning as soon as it got close. PROPS: they have chairs and stools and pedestals but I don't think there are props props like in a photo booth but it's better that way so your photos come out "clean". Once you finish, you write your address down to get your photos delivered and you receive the link to your photo session in 24 hours. Overall, I LOVE the pictures and appreciate the memories built within those pictures. I'd highly recommend. read more

I needed some professional photos. After two sets of headshots didn't turn out the way I wanted them to (photographer was rushing, I didn't get to see them or provide feedback as they took them and I didn't like any of the photos once I finally received them). I realized what I needed was a setting where I could take my own pictures, see how they were turning out, and re-adjust as needed. This spot was everything I wanted. The space was clean and easy to find, and Joshua was nice. He lets you pick between a light pink and light gray background, sets everything up for you, tells you where to sit/stand so that the lighting is best, and then leaves you with the clicker and a timer and complete privacy. I loved that there were two big screens where I could immediately see each photo as I took it, so I could move around and adjust. It was private and I felt so comfortable. The lighting was great, and the photos were so flattering! I was really happy with how they turned out. Especially love that he sends you ALL the photos you took during the session, and will edit and print some for you as part of the service.
