Da die Seite von Veronica (und Harneet) sehr ansprechend war entschieden wir uns für Veronica. Der Kontakt funktionierte super über Email was unsere Wünsche anging. Als wir dann auf Kauai waren haben wir uns mit Veronica persönlich getroffen. Sie war so super freundlich und sehr herzlich. Wir besprachen die Details und konnten auch noch alle Fragen stellen die uns im Kopf waren. Am Tag der Hochzeit ging bei uns dann leider alles ein wenig schief, da es so viel geregnet hatte, dass die Brücke, die zu unserer Hochzeitslocation führte, kaputt war. Da ist dann natürlich eine herausragende Hochzeitsplanerin gefragt!! Und es stellte sich zum Glück heraus, dass Veronica eine perfekte Hochzeitsplanerin ist. Sie hat alles umgeplant und wir hatten dann am Schluss so eine unglaublich schöne Hochzeit. Am Tag der Hochzeit haben wir dann auch unter Anderem Harneet kennengelernt (unser Fotograf). Er war unglaublich professionell. Wir hätten uns nicht im Traum vorstellen können wie schön die Bilder am Schluss geworden sind. EINFACH NUR TRAUMHAFT. Und durch das ganze umplanen kam Harneet zwei Tage später extra nochmal zu uns und wir hatten dann nochmal ein Shooting. Das war echt super. Harneet war auch ein super lieb und herzlich. Wir hatten wirklich unseren schönsten Tag in unserem Leben dank Veronica und Harneet. Vielen Dank für Alles The wedding with Veronica as our wedding planner was just perfect. We come from Germany and decided to get married on Kauai. Since the Veronica (and Harneet) site was very appealing, we decided to go with Veronica. The contact worked great via email as far as our wishes were concerned. When we were on Kauai we met Veronica personally. She was so super friendly and very warm. We discussed the details and were also able to ask all the questions that were in our heads. On the day of the wedding, everything went a bit wrong for us because it had rained so much that the bridge that led to our wedding location was broken. Then of course an outstanding wedding planner is required !! Fortunately, it turned out that Veronica is a perfect wedding planner. She rescheduled everything and at the end we had such an incredibly beautiful wedding. On the day of the wedding we also got to know Harneet (our photographer). He was incredibly professional. We could not have imagined how beautiful the pictures turned out at the end. JUST FANTASTIC. And through the whole rescheduling, Harneet came to us again two days later and then we had another shoot. It's hard to put into words how positive our experience was with Intimate Events Kauai - but I'll try my best to describe it all! Evan and I got married in Kauai in April of 2022, on the North Shore. The ceremony was just with the two of us, no guests. We did the elopement package along w/ some add-ons like additional photo and video time. We had originally been in communication with the team in 2019, before the pandemic hit. Once it was clear that our celebrations would need to be postponed, their team was so easy to work with and accommodating, even though it was such an uncertain time for everyone. When we were ready to rebook, Christy and Veronika made the process seamless. Communication was prompt and always a breeze. They answered all of our questions and concerns and worked with us to find the best solution possible. I truly felt that we were in the best hands possible during each step of the process - they have a vast knowledge of the island, including locations and vendors, which makes the whole planning process so easy. The actual day of the wedding was perfectly executed from start to finish. I felt like I was in the most capable hands and that no matter what the world would throw our way that day (i.e. rain or parking issues), that things would be okay and it would still be a magical day. Each hour was planned out, and at no point during the day did we feel like we were under pressure or rushed, and were truly able to enjoy every second. Harneet and Zane, the photographer and videographer, immediately made Evan and I feel so comfortable. They were easy to talk to and we felt like we could totally drop our guards and nerves and enjoy the day to the fullest! Once we finished the first look, we headed to the ceremony location, where Veronika & the ukulele player met us. We immediately felt such warmth from Veronika and absolutely loved the ceremony that she conducted and the words that she spoke and had us speak. We ended the evening with more video and photos and it was such a blast! Everyone was very kind and it was so nice to feel their support, especially when we didn't have any wedding guests and it was just the two of us. We would absolutely recommend Intimate Events Kauai to anyone looking to have a wedding in Kauai, big or small - they are true professionals and will take the absolute best care of you! I can remember vacationing with my family in Hawaii as a young girl and watching a couple get married on the beach. From that moment on, I dreamed of getting married on the beach in Hawaii. After finding the man of my dreams, my vision of a Hawaiian beach wedding became a reality! Thanks to Veronika, Christy and Harneet, our day was above and beyond what we ever could have even imagined. We planned our elopement within a short window of time, but they made it seem like it was forever in the making. Being out of state, it was so amazing to have peace of mind that it was all handled and taken care of, and with the "dream team." We had the best people working to make everything perfect. It was so magical, spiritual, special, beautiful...I could go on and on. We are forever grateful for all of them, their time, efforts and assistance. The setting, sunset lighting, flowers, officiant, petal toss, coordination, photography, and all the details were unbelievable. Even prior to our big day there were numerous emails with Christy helping answer all of our questions, concerns, coordinating vendors, and keeping us organized. She was very kind, responsive and professional, always. Veronika, Harneet, and Christy made planning our elopement wedding stress free and simple, exactly what we wanted! The communication from the start was detailed and the timeline was explained to us very well. I provided photos to explain what type of bouquet I wanted and the flowers were perfect! Crystal (make-up & Hair) was so fun to work with. The weather had us a little nervous, as February was pretty wet and rainy (but we knew weather was the unpredictable factor!) Veronika kept us calm and we had several options to pivot to if needed. We did end up changing locations and adjusting our timeline. Veronika and her team made this so easy and we had the most beautiful ceremony! Harneet is a fantastic photographer. Our photos were everything we wanted to capture our special day. He made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and the preview photos were sent very timely. The final photos were shared in two formats (optimal for print/best for sharing on socials). We opted for a video as well, which we didn't think we would want but it was in the package we chose. Zak captured and put together an epic video that we have shown so many friends and family. It truly was a great investment to share our wedding day with those we love! If you are looking to plan a wedding in Kauai, this is your dream team! They know the island, they have amazing local vendors, they plan well around weather, they communicate well with their clients (and I was constantly bombarding Christy with questions from the start!!), and the whole team took all the stress out of both the planning and the event. read more

If you are on the fence about what to do for your wedding (or proposal, etc.), I highly encourage you to consider working with Veronika and Harneet. Every single detail of our wedding day was seamless and perfect thanks to them. Throughout the planning process, Veronika and Christy made everything very easy and I was not stressed at all, much to everyone's surprise. Each vendor that Veronika coordinated did a spectacular job and I truly had not experienced such professional and kind service anywhere else. She planned and scheduled everything for me, so I just showed up and everything was perfect. The ceremony defied high expectations, which I didn't think was possible and I loved the freedom of getting to choose the type of ceremony (Hawaiian, Christian, or blend) was best for us. We received our sneak peek of photos from Harneet and I can't count how many times I have gone through them and chosen a different favorite because they are all absolutely stunning. My fiancé and I eloped with our three daughters exactly one month ago to Kauai, our favorite island! After searching online for the perfect wedding planner, we were lucky to discover Intimate Events Kauai and their amazing team! From the very first email correspondence, Christy was super responsive and guided us through our options in such a simple way. I thought I would feel overwhelmed trying to plan our special day from so far away, but she was right there holding our hands through the whole process from helping to choose a location (Shipwreck Beach), to scheduling hair/makeup appointments for myself and our daughters, to offering gorgeous floral options, scheduling our marriage license appointment, and suggesting restaurants for our special dinner. We didn't have to think about missing any detail! On the magical day of, Crystal and Misti showed up right on time to our hotel to transform us for the event. They were like fairy godmothers! We came to Kauai on our honeymoon 25 years ago and have come back every year since. Since this was our 25th wedding anniversary, we decided to renew our vows. With only 2 weeks lead time, I emailed Intimate Events Kauai and started communicating with Christy. Every part of this experience went well - she was very responsive to my questions and needs and handled everything beautifully. On the renewal day, we were lucky to work with Veronika (as the onsite coordinator) and her husband Harneet (the photographer). Veronika helped me put on my haku lei (hair lei) and kept everything moving beautifully - keeping track of the rings, the leis, helping with positioning, etc. She also was kind enough to send us a few photos that she took from her cell phone so we had a few photos to send family right away. Harneet was a joy to work with. They say there is something about a bride and groom - they always look so happy and beautiful on their wedding day. Harneet was able to make us look that good 25 years later! He had fun suggestions for photos and captured the beach and gorgeous sunset. He got us a sneak peek of 15 photos within a few days!! They were all great shots. Intimate Events Kauai was a blessing for us. They made our vow renewal special, handled all the flowers, the minister (shout out to Kahu!!) and the photographs flawlessly. My partner and I had been discussing getting married by the end of the year but I wanted to make it special, so I reached out to Veronika. Working with her assistant Christy, we were able to plan a surprise wedding for me and my wife at Hanalei Bay. Christy lined up the officiant, permits for the beach, appointments to get our marriage license, and so much more. Giving someone like me some menu options on what to do for flowers was also very helpful. Even when I started throwing curveballs at them like the fact that we were going to have our 4 year old daughter with us, and I the fact that I hadn't proposed yet, Christy was able to get us some flowers for my daughter to feel included and had suggestions for getting my partner to bring a nice dress for the wedding. While we were getting married Veronika helped my daughter feel included, but also kept her attention when needed. The officiant gave a beautiful service with a Hawaiian blessing for our family. It was very touching. The photos that we have started to get back from Harneet are breathtaking. 1/3 wedding photos, 1/3 family holiday photos and 1/3 maternity photos, they have captured everything that we were hoping an more. When it came down to this, everything was easy and my now wife was thrilled by the surprise that I Christy and Veronika helped me to orchestrate. Everything was absolutely perfect. read more

Guaranteed Beautiful wedding! Veronika and Christy put together an amazing wedding ceremony for us and our family - we couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day! They made the entire process easy from the very beginning, detailing out all the different options for our ceremony and making helpful suggestions (that we honestly needed!). Veronika made time for us in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding and was always available to chat over the phone and was attentive to our emails. Beyond just the wedding, she gave us great suggestions for where to stay and what to do while in Kauai (as an aside - Princeville might be the most amazing suburb I've ever been to in my life). We chose to have our wedding at the Princeville golf course and the decorations and ceremony looked amazing and went incredibly smoothly, thanks to Veronika and her team. We also had Harneet as our photographer and he did an awesome job on directing us during our pre- and post- wedding ceremony pictures - it was definitely worth it for us to book the additional hour of photography since we had photos on the golf course and the beach (which required extra time) and both sets of photos came out better than we could have imagined. Veronika and her vendors were able to pull off a super last minute elopement for my fiancé and I! We were able to book with her on a Sunday and got married on Wednesday! The entire process was seamless and stress free, which is all we could ask for after having to cancel our wedding twice due to the pandemic! All we had to do was pick our beach, flower theme, and show up! We went with a Hawaiian ceremony and it was just beautiful. Our officiant really embodied the Aloha spirit and love, and this really made our ceremony memorable. Veronika was quick and easy with communication throughout the entire day. Kauai is such a beautiful island, you can't go wrong here! If you want that beautiful beach wedding, do it!!! We have absolutely no regrets with our decision and so glad we went with Intimate Events Kauai to make our special day happen! Huge shout outs to Veronika and all of the vendors! Words cannot express how much this husband and wife team went above and beyond for us. We're calling this our covid love story. We met early in the pandemic, went 2 1/2 years without a positive result, until 3 days before our wedding on Kuaui. We were already on island, so had to be flexible. Veronika worked with the vendors to move everything until after my quarantine, but keep everything at a safe distance, with the officiant wearing a mask. We of course cancelled the hair/makeup. We then had the grooms positive test on the rescheduled date. She went into action to try to save the day - working with the gardens, the officiant and the photographer to pull this off, while keeping everyone safe. We ended up getting married on our Lanai as the officiant wasn't comfortable, and with a socially distanced photo session after. The silver lining was being able to invite our family back home. She was incredibly flexible, worked so we could still have our day and made it easy when we were both hit with covid. And, everything turned out incredibly beautiful. We had a fabulous experience with Intimate Events Kauai. Veronika was very responsive, detail-oriented, and proficient in creating a day based on our visions and wishes. We had some specific accommodation needs that made logistics a bit more challenging, and with her support everything worked out flawlessly. Her recommendations for vendors and venue, in our opinions, could not have been better. Harneet not only took amazing photos that captured the beauty and sentiments of our special day, he was very fun to work with and helped us to be relaxed as we are not so much 'picture people'. Intimate events was by far the best encounter and experience for a stress free wedding planning! My husband Josh and I eloped in October of 2021. Considering the distance and time zone difference, veronika made it easy with communication through emails and phone calls to make the process as smooth as possible. I would recommend if you don't live on the actual island itself, to definitely contact them at least a year in advance to give everyone ample time to plan altogether. As for the photography, Harneet is the most genuine person and helps to make you feel relaxed as you take photos to capture the best with your loved one(s).
