The nurses wouldnt tell me anything, while I shivered with a high fever. They naver gave me a covid test I just assumed I had it because I had all the symptoms. I was feverish, chills and delusional it was very scary. My family was terified. When I went to leave I realised my new back brace for my broken back I got at the hospital and and other disability supplies were gone from my closet. I asked the nurses and everyone. No one could help me of even seemed to care or look for them, so I had to leave the facilities with out the back brace and suppies I was given in the hospital. The level of indifference was tremendous.

Nothing fresh, nor healthy. While a good majority of residents still abide by the Catholic No-Meat-Fridays, the facility sometimes only serves meat dishes on Friday - stating "We can make you a Grilled Cheese if you want". The priest hired to say mass can care less about the mass - many times he skips parts of the mass in order to get out of "work" sooner. Given the high price paid for a Catholic Senior Living Facility, their performance is AT BEST is one star, if even that.

My experience at Beachway was complicated. Parts of the program genuinely helped me, especially the…read moregroups. I learned skills I still use around DBT, emotional regulation, boundaries, slowing down before reacting, and recognizing dysregulation. Being away from home gave me space to focus on myself, and I made meaningful connections with other clients. I expected residential treatment to build on the work I had already done with my outpatient therapist and psychiatrist. I believe I signed releases allowing Beachway to communicate with both. However, my therapist at home was not contacted to establish background or discuss work we had already completed, and she did not receive notes from my Beachway therapists afterward. I am also unsure whether my psychiatric records were reviewed or incorporated into treatment planning. Several individual therapy assignments repeated work I had already done extensively at home. At times, treatment felt more like moving through a predetermined framework than something tailored to my history and progress. I also did not know until later that I could ask to meet with my individual therapist more than once a week. I struggled with how my initiative was sometimes interpreted. After a group on boundaries, I wrote boundaries for my family and asked another therapist to help me review them. I later felt chastised by my primary therapist for doing so and never received the individualized help I had been seeking. When I worked independently on concepts introduced in groups, I felt criticized for "controlling" my own therapeutic journey and was told this likely reflected how I showed up at home or difficulty with trust and interpersonal relationships. I understand therapy should challenge you, but I sometimes felt broad assumptions were being made rather than explored collaboratively. Communication involving my ROI also became a concern. On at least two occasions, my therapist's account of what had been said differed from what my partner told me. In one instance, my therapist attributed a statement to me that I do not remember making. When I tried to clarify these discrepancies, I did not feel they were adequately resolved, which made it harder to feel secure in the therapeutic relationship. I was also uncomfortable with the emphasis on extending treatment. At one point, I was told therapists could tell within about five minutes of meeting someone whether they needed to extend their stay. The pressure around staying longer became stressful and felt like it took time and emotional energy away from making the most of the time I could stay. After discharge, I have had difficulty reaching people, getting necessary documentation completed, and connecting with resources. At the same time, I continue to receive promotional emails for other Beachway programs and retreats, which has been disappointing when follow-up on actual care needs has been difficult. I do not regret my experience. I gained useful skills, benefited from groups, developed greater awareness of my emotional regulation, and grew during my time there. But I believe it could have been much better with stronger coordination with existing providers, more individualized treatment, clearer communication about therapy options and ROIs, and better follow-through after discharge. If you already have an established therapist or psychiatrist, I would recommend asking how they will be involved, whether prior therapeutic work will be reviewed, how often you can meet individually with your therapist, what will be shared with your ROI, and what follow-up support you can expect. I came to Beachway prepared to work hard. My biggest disappointment was feeling that some of that motivation and initiative was treated as something to correct instead of something that could have been used to create a more collaborative, individualized treatment experience.

Royal Manor Nursing Home And Rehabilitation Center I have…read moreabsolutely no affiliation with this facility and I do not know anyone connected with this facility at all, with the exception of my loved one who has been there for 1 year after suffering a major stroke. I am writing this review after spending approximately 1-2 hours a day there, just about every day for the past year. I have read the other reviews on the different sites and I have to say that I do not agree with some of them. This is definitely an okay place. Are there issues here? Of course there are, Just like anywhere else but there is nothing that you can say is bad, and nothing that I have personally seen where a resident has been neglected, mistreated or not cared for. Our experience here has been good!! We ask questions!! We speak with the nurses!! We speak with administration!! All of our concerns have been addressed. "GET INVOLVED IF YOU CARE" The nursing staff, cna's and administration do a phenomenal job here. The facility is extremely clean and well maintained. When I read the reviews that say that the center smells like urine and is dirty, THAT IS NOT TRUE!!! This place is very clean. These people here work hard and most of them do really care about the residents and the center. You will always have the one's that go above and beyond and you will always have your slackers no matter what facility it is that you choose. That is human nature . THIS IS NOT A HOTEL FOR YOU TO DROP YOUR LOVED ONE TO BE PAMPERED!! This is a nursing home and rehabilitation center and there is not 1 nurse or cna per resident, each one takes care of many residents. They do not have an easy job!! They deal with mentally and physically handicapped people. The staff is limited, as in every facility of this type. If you have ANY concerns, try spending some time there before making any judgements trashing the administration and staff. The staff and administration are always available to speak with and have been more then receptive to my presence each day at the facility. No one has ever been rude!! Things have been a little harder since the Covid 19 pandemic because I have not been allowed inside to see my loved one but, I go to the window each day to see her. I watch as they are constantly spraying sanitizer and wiping down just about everything in sight. All the staff are masked, gloved and temp taken upon arrival for work. They are taking every precaution that they can against Covid 19 outbreak!! I have seen several facilities of this type and this facility has been a God send for us, they have gone above and beyond. I would like to name some of the staff who has helped myself and my loved one unconditionally and have addressed all of our concerns. The nurses and cna's that I have had the pleasure of dealing with throughout the past year are: Danis, Pierre, Marie, Catherine, Normalyne, Nirva, Semo, Deshire and there are more that if I may have left out I apologize. The administrator Grace is as real as you can get!! She has addressed all of the concerns that I have had. Trish the office manager, there are no words for how much I adore this girl!! She has been there and helped without hesitation on all and any of my concerns. Gina the social worker is definitely looking out for the residents best interest, and Milli who answers the phone most of the time is always willing to help. God Bless the heroes that work at this facility and all of the front line workers that are helping others while putting themselves in harms way!!! "I Thank all of you!!!"

Title: Unprofessional, Unethical, and Money-Driven Treatment…read moreI stayed at Beach House Recovery Center in Juno Beach, FL, for mental health treatment and had an extremely concerning experience. One staff member, Lance, who called himself a doctor but is actually an APRN, yelled at me and made fun of me when I said I wasn't feeling well. The facility forced me to stay the full 21 days before arranging transportation back to Miami, even though I explained I had no money for a ride. It was clear that my financial situation was being used against me -- they only arranged an Uber after 21 days, and the process was stressful and humiliating. I was also mocked for taking Xanax for anxiety, despite informing the admitting team about my medical history, including AFib (Atrial Fibrillation). My therapist even said she could not help me because all my issues were medical, leaving me with no mental health support -- only stress and aggravation. This facility appears to prioritize money over patient care. I urge anyone considering it to be cautious -- patients deserve respectful, professional care, not exploitation or neglect.

Came back worse than when she went down.
