I wanted to recognize one of the laser tag employees for providing an absolutely outstanding experience. Sam was very friendly, personable, and incredibly professional. Her customer service was truly amazing. We arrived when there were two birthday parties happening making the place a bit....busy. However, Sam made my small party of 3 feel welcomed & included. She took the time to explain everything clearly and kept the atmosphere fun. Although Sam was amazing, I also have to say that I was able to witness the other employees and how well they took care of the birthdays. They were patient, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that every guest was having fun and felt included. It's rare to come across a whole team who puts that much effort and enthusiasm into their job, and it made our visit memorable. Thank you for the amazing service and positive attitude. Booked a birthday party for my son who is turning 8 and Invasion Laser tag was incredible. The party was for 2 hours for 17 kids and about the same amount of adults. They provided pizza and soda for the kids and they allow outside food. We brought chicken wings and chow mein from a Chinese restaurant. Staff was incredible and accommodating. They gave us our own party room that had three rows of benches and plenty of space. The laser tag was very fun and my son and his friends loved it! After cake and laser tag they gave each kid a game card for the arcade. Lots of parking and everything was easy. Skip chuckee cheese and come here for a wonderful birthday experience! read more

Held my son's birthday party here. I would ay this place is perfect for ages 7-11 year old boys ( but also 30-40 year old Dads XD ) who have a lot of energy to burn and want to do something different than the trampoline parks. Their birthday packages are reasonably priced ( slightly more $$ than a trampoline park) but you get a dedicated host, pizza and drinks and you can bring your own cake. It felt surprisingly fun and energetic inside Invasion Laser Tag in San Marcos when I visited with someone, almost in the same playful way that made my time at Funko Hollywood so memorable. The whole place has this lively atmosphere that teenagers would enjoy a lot, and I noticed right away that there were a ton of teenagers there already, laughing, running around, and getting excited for their next game. The arena itself looked way more immersive than I expected, with bright lights and themed areas that made everything feel more adventurous without costing anything extra just to walk around or enjoy the environment. By my surprise, the gear and the whole setup looked so futuristic and cool even though it was all designed just for having fun, which makes it perfect for teenagers who love active, creative experiences. It was a new place to me, but I didn't realize how much there was to enjoy until I actually stepped inside and saw how easy it was to get into the game without feeling rushed or confused. I appreciated how smooth everything felt, from getting the equipment to joining the match. I never doubted that the experience was going to turn out the way I hoped it would. I only visited Invasion Laser Tag one time in my life before making this review, but it ended up being one of the most exciting and playful places I've been to in a long time. I would highly recommend that even teenagers go there because it gives them a place to have fun, be active, and feel creative. I lived for 24 years. I'm not physically or mentally 24 years old. In the summertime in the year 2024, I learned that I'm still physically and mentally 18 years old. I would've loved to rate this place higher when what I did, but there's more cons over pros. Honorable mention: it is one of the only primary laser tag spots in the San Diego/North County area. The location: this place was not hard to find, AT ALL. It was very easy to find and designated spots was a plus for me. The food: there nachos and candy, which chips and cheese isn't much and the candy selection was mediocre. The ambiance: this place reminds me of an old retro arcade which was cool. BUT.. -the bathrooms were not that clean and the two male stalls were out of toilet paper the majority of the time we were there, luckily I didn't have to do that business. -the older white lady was the nicest one of the staff members(the rest were either rude or unwelcoming) -the floors were dirty as if hadn't been swept, mopped, or vacuumed. -the arcade was pretty pricey. read more

Not for teens. Older lady at the desk was playing with the players and getting upset because she wasn't winning. Lots of very young children for birthday parties. Felt as if our teens were being docked and scolded because she wasn't winning on a high horse. She was nice to us the parents but the way she treated the teens was not acceptable. We had a private birthday party here and I would recommend it 10/10!! It's a bit pricey but we had peace of mind with kids running in and out of the party room as everyone were our guests and kids had the freedom to play video games or jump into laser tag. Overall we had time for about 4 rounds and the pizza was from Costco which I think is a better option than most pizza at other places. read more

Found this place since my son wanted laser tag for his birthday. What a gem! We had a party host, giant pizza, and you can bring outside beverages and food! The kids and parents enjoyed their time there. It is strict 2 hrs, so recommend to tell your party to come 10 min prior to start time to set up and then quickly pack up since the party room times are back to back. We travelled to go here from SD but it was worth the trip. Highly recommend. read more

This place is exceptional for a birthday party! I highly recommend! My 9 year old son had the best birthday party ever and so did I because it was stress free. They took care of everything and had a party coordinator to manage the timing of the games, laser tag, pizza, cake and anything in between. Jesus supported us with extraordinary service that you don't see anywhere anymore. The owner even had a Minecraft video above our room door that announced our son in a special way. I spent money trying to get a duck in a claw machine. It is clearly able to get the claw was holding it but the machine limits the power I've seen the manual. It is a rigged money stealer. I guess the laser tag game was ok. read more

We had my son's birthday party here, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the staff. There's always a risk that the staff are there for a paycheck, but the young guy who ran our son's party was great with kids, joked with them, was very friendly, and everyone who ran the party logistically seemed to be on the ball as well. Tag games were run on time, kids were corralled from one location to another, pizza and drinks were served, and cake was even cut for us. It was super easy and low work on the parents' part. I would definitely use again, as my son currently wants to do it again next year! read more

Went for Laser tag, stayed for the AMAZING and well kept Stepmania X (DDR) arcade machine. As a DDR fan, yall need to get on the DDR finder map because I had no idea this cabinet was here are there are no good DDR cabinets in north county SD.... If I wasnt here with my sister I wouldve stayed to play this for hours, it felt nicer than the cabinets at "big name" arcades like Round 1 and Dave and Busters. This is the most well run and awesome laser tag place I have ever been to. But I want to really thank the staff here for their kindness and attention. My son has some special needs and they made sure he was able to participate fully and went out of their way to accommodate his disabilities. I brought my daughter and her friends on Tuesday 6/28 and was pleasantly surprised to find out that during the summer, they only charge $15/person for unlimited laser tag...they had a blast!!! At first I was wondering how does a laser tag place have 5 stars, I realized how and why. Invasion laser tag is amazing, they have a clean lobby, highly realistic and accurate blasters. A food court, an arcade, even a whole token system. Every Friday and Saturday you can play unlimited games from 8PM-11PM for just $20! If you can't make it at that time they have other deals too! Normally they have 3 games for $15 but I would suggest going when it's all you can play. 5 stars 10/10 highly suggest if you love arcades, good food, or laser tag! read more

Parking is easy and they have great deals on laser tag! If typical laser tag isnt your thing they have a variety of different games that encourage team work, individual skills, and fun! Additionally, they have a small arcade in the front. If all that isn't enough to keep you happy they sell snacks and sweet treats at the front desk. Though I haven't gotten a chance to use this location for a birthday party they have a HUGE side room for birthday parties, private events, etc. If you haven't given Invasion Laser tag a try, GO! Our son had his 11th bday party there and it was amazing. We were provided a room, pizza, drinks, 3 games for all the kids and Andrew as our party host. He was extremely helpful and made the party STRESS-FREE for us. I spoke with the owner and she was super friendly as well. The laser tag itself had the most high-budget packs/guns that I've seen. We were really hoping to have a laser tag bday party last year (2021), and luckily Invasion was open and available... even with some of the crazy restrictions still in place. ‍ But the staff at Invasion were Phenomenal! Wow. What a fun experience! We had a large group and we were just going to show up to play laser tag. I ended up booking a party room. Tyler was our host and did an amazing job organizing us all and keeping our party time line hoping along. The laser tag was so fun and our friends are already talking about booking their next birthday here. Invasion literally took care of everything, plates, napkins, clean up, serving pizza and the cake. I brought candles and a lighter and knife, but they already had ALL of that! Super easy super fun and highly recommended!!!!! Invasion Laser Tag specializes in kid parties ( at least during the weekends). Walk-ins are welcome though, which is what we were. I'll write this review based on a walk-in experience because it's important to know that it's probably very different than a party experience. This place is packed with parties on Saturday. About what you'd expect at Chuck E. Cheese's but only 1/8 the size. The staff was solid, despite the pandemonium of wrangling up little kids from several parties and getting people in and out of Laser games. They also didn't lose track of the walk-ins. They always made sure they were accounted for and invited into the game rooms. Keep in mind that the parties are their top priority and focus here, so you'll find the staff around them. Again, they do keep track of walk-ins too. The laser games were pretty good, though it was still confusing about all the areas to shoot even with a quick training session. Each game was 15 minutes. If you didn't play, there was one TV in the lobby that showed a live game going on. This wasn't helpful because they really needed several cameras that could show more coverage of the battlefield. The Tout Board ( score board) was pretty cool as it would display real-time scoring including kills and team totals. So even if you come in as walk-ins, there's plenty of fun laser tag here. Sure, you might end up joining a game with 20 second grade girls, but a kill is a kill on the tout board :D Recommended Tip - The Laser maze used two tokens per play. With those tokens, two ( or more ) kids can go in the maze and play. Sharing a game will save you tokens rather than having two kids go in separately. It will also make the line go faster. Despite the posted warning signs stating that an alarm will go off if someone else enters the maze, there was no alarm. read more
