It says it's 3 people per lane and so if you have a bigger group, you have to reserve an additional. We arrived earlier than our reservation. Time but they let us join in early. We quickly signed a waiter and got to our lane. The worker demonstrated the different axes we could throw. There was a small and thin one, small axe, medium axe, long and big axe, and a shovel. I liked the small and thin one best. It's cool because the target is digital and they have tons of different options to pick from. Our favorite was the regular target and the tic tac toe. They had strategy ones as well. I noticed that the board panels were thick and the axes were dull and so it would still, but fall off quickly after. Not sure if I wasn't hitting it with enough power, but even the worker couldn't get his axe to stick when he was demonstrating. You can't drink alcohol inside the building, but there's a bar next door. They let us go back and forth, but that took time away from our hour. They have drinks and snacks for purchase. Overall, it was a really cool experience and a great price compared to some other Axe throwing spots I've seen.

Xander led us through the safety requirements and then let us practice and take turns while giving follow-up tips. Parents and players had room to move around between the throwing cages. There was a central area with couches and tables for people to hang out too. We could bring in our own sodas and snacks, which was helpful. Overall, it was a great time and neat experience.

We made an appointment and arrived early when we got there they were really nice and allowed us to bring our ice cream from Jenny splendid ice cream around the corner inside. We were finishing up our ice cream and they started to set us up at our ax throwing station. We really appreciated that they showed us how to throw the ax, gave us good tips, and did everything that they could to set us up for success during our time. It was nice to have some healthy family competition. There were 4 of us and so we took up two of the throwing bays, which was really cool. Each of us had plenty of axe throwing turns and the timeframe allowed for us to really enjoy family bonding with each other. My husband had a really good time and we all had healthy competition as a family group. We will be going back. My advice is that you definitely tip the people who work there because they go out of their way, above and beyond, to make us comfortable and to make sure that we know what we're doing. The staff was awesome and so helpful and they provide you with a safety talk before starting. You need to take safety into your own hands once inside - I recommend you only attend with folks you trust. They provide a variety of "weapons" for you to break other items with. You can actually bring your own items in to break (photos of exes encouraged)! They provide you with stuff to break, a helmet/face shield, gloves, and overalls. Wear closed toed shoes and prepare to get sweaty.
