At 9pm the same evening I received correspondence rescinding the offer to rent this was on 06.17.2021. I was told my deposit would be refunded and given a confirmation code on said refund. I have gone back and forth with them more times than should ever be needed to be told that it's on my credit card company to process the refund. I still haven't received it as of 19:00 (7p) 06.26.2021. Whenever, I try calling the office or cell number provided I go directly to voicemail. Every time I've made effort to go to the office there has been an excuse on why they cannot meet there to discourage my driving from Reno to the Fernley location as I am certain it would be futile based on the responses I've received. Our experience was incredibly frustrating and ultimately felt like we were being taken advantage of. We were charged $250 for a pipe repair without ever being contacted, consulted, or quoted for the work. When we tried to schedule a meeting to discuss the charge, they refused to meet, ignored our calls, and eventually threatened us with eviction unless we paid. We were forced to pay for something we had no opportunity to approve or dispute. When we moved out, we gave more than 30 days' notice, professionally cleaned the carpets and the home, and even touched up the walls. Despite this, they withheld $2,100 of our security deposit. Their breakdown included: * $300 for drywall repair (not previously mentioned or shown to us) * $1,100 for painting the entire house (even though we left it in great condition) * A charge to replace a lightbulb they falsely claimed was out * $260 for cleaning (even though we had the home professionally cleaned) Throughout the process, this company was unresponsive, evasive, and became aggressive when we questioned the charges. It was clear they had no intention of communicating fairly or ethically. They do not treat tenants with respect and seem to rely on intimidation and avoidance to force compliance. She always asked for my name and number, leading me to believe that she probably never even wrote it down in the first place; and, when I was finally able to view the apartment, she "lost my number" to tell me that the apartment was already sold and that she could show me another one in the same area. Then she basically pushed it off until the apartment wasn't available anymore. Do not believe everything written about her in her bio on the company website, by my personal experience she is a flake.
