I usually went to one place for my nails done, but I'm thinking to try this since it's new and just near by. But, I'm regretting going to this place. I had multiple cuts in my nails. I haven't got this on my previous nail salons. Hopefully they will more cautious in cleaning the nails and they should use manual clip than using the nail drill machine. I know it's more faster for them, but they should do better since we're paying the service equally. read more

I don't mind spending money, but I do mind being taken advantage of. On my previous visit, I was charged $60 for a nail fill with a cat-eye design. On my most recent visit, 2 weeks later I went in for the same service with the addition of a very small heart design with th magnet for cat eye . At checkout, I was surprised to be charged $80 due to an added $20 fee for nail length (from just two weeks of growth?!?!) and the heart design, which took only a few seconds. What was most frustrating is that none of these extra charges were communicated during the service. I only learned about them when it was time to pay. When I questioned the price, the front desk person said she would "re-evaluate it" and then reduced the total to $70. While the nail tech does excellent work and I was happy with the quality of the fill, the lack of transparency and the feeling of being nickeled and dimed left a bad impression. Clear pricing should always be discussed BEFORE services are completed. Unfortunately, this experience has lost me as a customer. It's a shame, because the work itself was very good--but these business practices are not something I'm comfortable with. read more

So this location is my go to now. I used to go to four seasons up on lugonia next to the staters bros up there on the intersection of Wabash. But I come here now. Then I noticed a lot of familiar faces & I asked the young girl if it was the same owners, she said no but same family. I said makes since! Now I know why there so good here too. Honestly, I get the best pedi they have (orange retreat) everytime I go & it's $80, but yes it's 100% worth it! Please give them a try. So, I have tried this place 4 times. The first time was ok. So I went back and they are super close to my house but the last 3 times my nails were not done right. 1. The tech did not fix my lifted nails on most of my fingers and still placed the new acrylic on. My nails had the ability to get water trapped underneath and I had to tell him to fix the shape like 4 times because it was wrong and different on each hand. 2. Went back for a fill and showed them the areas I was concerned about. The tech put a crazy amount of glue in the open area and then left gaps of missing acrylic on the sides of my nails. I pointed it out to the manager they did offer to fix it but I work and go to school. I could not spend more time or fit it into my schedule to come back I had already spent 2hrs there. 3. This last time I will say the tech rose made an effort to fix what the last tech did and said she doesn't understand why she did what she did to my nails. However! She cut me so many times. My fingers hurt so bad. She blamed it on dry skin. Why not add cuticle softener or tell me to get a manicure. She just kept going over my skin. I have had someone tell me my skin is dryer but never went over my cuticles with the drill! When they use the drill it's to make sure the acrylic is sanded down correctly to protect from lift not to remove dry skin! I CANT EVEN TYPE IT HURTS SO BAD. To your reply- that's a lie! She never used anything to soften the skin! That's not true at all! I can't believe you'd lie. Truly disappointed. This is the second time I've come to this location for a manicure and got a cut. Today, however, I told the guy to immediately stop, and I don't want to continue. While receiving a pedicure, a lady stepped in to start my manicure. She cut my right nails then stopped and stated that the lady giving a pedicure was going to finish. After about 15 mins, another male manicurist step in to finish. One thing that made me uncomfortable was that he was sick. He blew us nose into a napkin. Placed the napkin down beside me and proceeded to grab my hands for the manicure. He didn't wash his hand or wear gloves. Then he started again with my left hand and pulled on side of my nail/skin that it caused me to straight bleeding. That's when I stopped him and asked for a napkin because my finger was bleeding and at this point the blood had run under my nail! I told him that I no longer want a manicure. How do you now stop what you are doing to help a client who is bleeding? The gentleman at check out tried to make it right by offering another manicure on the house but honestly I'm not coming back again. A free manicure cannot make up for a possible infection. I had high hopes for this salon as it's close to my home and looks nice but every time I came, they are just rushing through the work instead of providing quality work. I came home and cleaned it myself. The side of my nail/skin was red, sensitive to touch, and you can see where my skin was torn off. I'm definitely not coming back. Edit: Response to owner. I did not call to request a service. I called, within 10 mins of leaving the salon, to inform the gentleman (Richard) at the front desk about my concerns, especially the sanitary concerns. I kindly informed him that I didn't want to complain out loud as there were customers around and through it would be best to talk to him privately (over the phone). WTF?! I had a feeling the lady was NOT supposed to put Callus remover on my toe nails.. Could this be from dirty tools? not being sanitized?! DO NOT COME HERE!!! I removed my nail polish to show you guys my nails that are now possibly infected because of this place! Horrible experience... I've never had this happen to me. I thought I'd give my local nail salon a visit and help them out because they had just opened. Safe to say I took one for the team. NEVER COMING BACK!!! please don't come here. The callus remover was put on me and brushed over my nail. This is a chemical burn or something to do with not being sanitary. I haven't dropped anything on my foot. It was burning pretty bad but I didn't think any of it up until my toe started turning red and black. This is 100 percent without a doubt something to do with a chemical that was used on my foot incorrectly. I will be going to urgent care have a medical specialist give me a correct answer. Thank you I understand you have been open for 2 weeks but my nail tech was either not trained or not paying attention enough. I made an appointment for a pedicure at 10am. Was immediately seated; however, did not get a tech until 10:30am. She absolutely rushed through my service to make up her time. Barely did filing, cuticle service, or callus removal even though it's all a part of the package. Zero acknowledgement from management on scheduling issues. The staff was friendly but I'd still never come back here again. My short gel nails cost $100 just for the rhinestones to all fall off by the second/third day. First of all, I've never been charged that much for short gel nails (on my natural nail). That's usually how much I pay for acrylics or gel x. Second of all, they tell you how much your design costs at the end of your service. Third, the designs aren't even that good in comparison to my usual nail shop in redlands. I was underwhelmed when they finished and instantly regretted not going to my usual shop. Don't be fooled by the prices on their menu because designs can cost up to an additional $40-$50. And they don't even last. I wouldn't have bothered leaving a review if they lasted but I am upset because I'm attending a wedding this weekend and my nails aren't even cute anymore. read more

And if they do be wary because they pitch you the highest price they can think of to talk you out of what you want or to see if you will agree and pay the high price they asked for to get over on you. They just do whatever and at the end they hit you with an expensive bill of a made up price that they just thought of from the top of their head, very greedy, selfish nail salon and they make you pay a service fee for using your ATM card and you are not allowed to do that at all anywhere they are miss using the debit card machine and can get reported for that and they talk crap about you in your face while smiling at you acting nice to get your service!!!! Newest nail shop in town. Very nice interiors. They use autoclaved tools and line the pedicure bowls. Cute and trendy selection of nail polishes and designs. I like that they have OPI for regular polish. I just find that this brand lasts longer on my nails and it dries quicker as well. Only thing is I wish they didn't charge $0.90 cents to use credit card or Apple pay (should be free, in my opinion) or that they don't charge extra to take off polish when already getting a service. read more
