Best dive bar in St. Louis. Bartenders are funny, burgers are awesome. Get that soft horseradish cheddar.

Another fun party at Small Change!…read more Happy Tiki Birthday to Jamie and Bill! I love the cocktail creations that include the Big O Liquor, this year I enjoyed the Back Breaker and the Big O-Spresso Martini. The Back Breaker was refreshing with the different fruit flavors and had a cute pineapple swizzle stick. The Big O-Spresso was very rich with lots of cream, yum Good Strangers was there proving Tiki inspired tacos, I tried both the chicken and the brisket and both were great but the chicken was the winner for me, that slaw was such a great addition! Order at the bar or with a waitress, everyone is having a great time decked out in Tiki gear and the bar full of lots of props. Always a good time!

What a sweet spot to grab a drink and enjoy some good company…read more Stopped in for a night cap with a friend. The place is steeped in pride for both STL and LGBTQ+ community. The bartenders were awesome. We walked up to the bar and both bartenders got things rolling for us quickly. They have a really solid menu as well. They have some wildly unique cocktail options that blend dive bar ingredients with a craft cocktail approach. The vibes were great. The back patio was super nice and a great spot to just relax. I got a gimlet which was beautiful. Slightly tart, with just enough sweetness to balance it all out. There are not many things on this planet better than getting a damn good cocktail at a dive bar.

I love that fact that they offer craft cocktails. The bar area is intimate and cozy. Since we just left from practically next door and enjoyed a plethora of cocktails. I couldn't drink any more nor did I want to. I follow them on IG to see what's the latest happenings and cocktail creations. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door with smiling faces. As soon as I walked in the door I was so excited for this game room because it's not typical. It's clean and intimate, like an upscale parlor. The bar is inviting and cute. The games are beyond reasonable. We love ski ball and it's located in the center of the game room against the wall with several attached, so you have to be crammed next to other patrons. Ski ball is only $0.50 a game and if you score high enough it automatically resets to give you another game. Where can you play ski ball this cheap. They also have pin ball games, arcade games, board games and more. We played several games of Connect Four-----CLASSIC. They have comedy night and karaoke in addition to gaming. We absolutely love this spot, can't wait to return.

The upstairs lounge is perfect if you want to hang out with friends or just take a break and rest your feet for a bit. I absolutely love that space and how comfy it is. One of the biggest perks of Hidden Gems is their back room, which allows them to host events and fun pop-up experiences. I've been to a few, and most recently attended the "Taylor Swift: Bejeweled" experience. The space was decked out in all things Taylor, with every era clearly represented. Giant friendship bracelets hung from the ceilings and lined the walls, which was such a fun touch. And of course, there were plenty of photo ops with my close personal bff, Taylor herself! The drink menu was themed to match the eras, with tons of creative options. My friends and I tried several cocktails, along with a few NA options as well. I really appreciate that they offer non-alcoholic drinks as I've been cutting back on alcohol over the past few months, and it's nice to still have fun choices that actually taste good! The Mirrorball was easily my favorite drink of the night. It tasted just like an orange creamsicle and was served in a disco ball...so good and so fun. My last drink of the night was "So Long London," which was almost like a dessert in a glass. Highly recommend ending your night with that one!
