Always great food. My favorite meal is the 1/2 club sandwich and French onion soup. The steaks are decent and the staff is nice.

Not sure if that's healthy but it is what it is. It's clean. It's medium sized. It's bustling. It's got a vast array of slots and all the table games. Best of all, it's got low minimums. I like to play craps and blackjack, but I'm not a high stakes gambler. The norm nowadays seems to be higher and higher minimums which at a craps table can price you out of a full strategy unless you want to risk a significant amount of cash at once, for blackjack, higher minimums mean less playing time on average for the same bankroll. This place had $3 blackjack, which meant that I could sit around for a while and play for fun without it being a big $ decision to do so. For that I am thankful and I'll definitely return if I'm in the area again. Nice people, cheap blackjack, good clean space. What else can you ask for from a casino off the interstate? 5 stars.

I ordered a simple cold brew with sweet cream, as I'm drinking, I noticed the cream has curdled. I go back and ask if I can have my drink remade and explain what's going on. The girl tells me that's how the drink is made. I tell her it's not supposed to be chunky, but she insists it is, and then she proceeds to charge me to make a new drink. Not only that but a disheveled girl sitting at the table, who I assume works there and is hanging out at her job off hours, requests to see the drink, then they start trying the curdled coffee to see what the problem is! Like who does that?? I had no words.

There are moments in life when a man confronts something so fundamentally absurd that it forces him…read moreto reconsider the entire structure of reality. For me, that moment occurred at the blackjack table inside Cimarron Casino. I walked in expecting a game. Blackjack, after all, is supposed to be a rational system -- numbers, probabilities, risk, discipline. A contest between the player and the dealer mediated by the impartial mathematics of the deck. What unfolded instead felt like a philosophical demonstration that the universe is not governed by fairness, probability, or even basic statistical decency. For hours I watched the dealer operate in what can only be described as a higher dimension of blackjack existence. Bust cards simply did not apply. Hands that should collapse into ruin instead gracefully floated to twenty. The dealer would pull a five when a five was needed, a six when a six was required, a miraculous sequence of salvation that repeated itself so often it stopped feeling like luck and started feeling like cosmic mockery. Meanwhile, the players sat there experiencing the opposite law of nature -- a gravitational pull toward sixteen against a dealer ten, followed by the inevitable, soul-crushing decision: hit and perish, or stand and watch the dealer ascend to twenty with serene inevitability. At some point during the evening I stopped thinking about money altogether. The chips in front of me became symbolic rather than financial. I realized I was no longer gambling -- I was witnessing a philosophical parable about inevitability, futility, and the quiet cruelty of systems that appear fair while producing the same outcome over and over again. The dealers were calm, almost priest-like in their composure, dutifully turning over cards as if participating in a ritual that has been performed for centuries: the ritual of the player slowly realizing he was never meant to win. By the time I left, my bankroll had been completely annihilated, but more importantly my faith in blackjack as a game governed by chance had been thoroughly dismantled. If you wish to experience a place where probability appears to have filed for resignation and the dealer operates with the serene certainty of fate itself, Cimarron Casino will gladly provide that experience. I came to play blackjack. Instead, I received an existential lecture on the illusion of control.

Can't say too much about the gambling here because I didn't donate a lot but it surprised me when I…read moredid a full walkthrough and noticed that there is a second floor full of machines as well. If this is your first time in here like mine, you can explore around and find many many Nook and crannies like you've entered little rooms of machines, it's pretty neat. I'm sure it would get tiring after a while or many trips back to here. What I like about here is there are table games like most medium casinos. I would consider this as one and the table limits are low, for example, $5 as compared to $10 or $25 at large Casino like Choctaw or WinStar. Also there is a food court here (kun1 a mall) I guess for the budget-minded food consumer here instead of the expensive restaurants that amplify their menu prices. It was closed this particular Sunday but I could tell it would be a good value to eat here and not worry about going outside for something cheaper down the road. At last there are drink stations here for your beverage enjoyment pleasures because the cost is free hundred for each cup and the unique thing that I like about here is this is the only Casino where I've seen where they dispense SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM (gasp!) in a cup!!!! McDonald's has left the chat. Connected to the hotel are numerous ballrooms and hotel with a garage connected in the back but parking is ample out front as well and there is valet parking.

Keno is our game, been playing for years, I even wrote a book about it, called Keno Gold, the Ultimate Guide to Win. However, we tried every Keno machine that was working; 10 machines, 2 broken down. If you know anything about Keno, then you should expect to hit at least one 5 pattern. Never in my life have I had such an experience. There was nothing hitting in the casino at all. I use to own The Little Horseshoe and the Jubilee in Texas, besides working for Harrah's, and the Venetian: So this was a shock that there was absolutely "no" five spots, six spots, definitely no seven or eight spots that hit. Not even the old stand by, bar tender numbers of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. It's as though the chips that was in the machine, had a 100% block for any groupings. I was beyond words, stunned. I have made a lot of money playing Keno, so I am not a novice. But this experience at the Grand Casino in Shawnee, Ok., was terrible. What ever the Grand Casino has going on, and how those Keno machines are set up, it is definitely working for them. Customers have to suck it up, because, they are taking the money; giving nothing back, except frustration and pain. At first, I was surprised that the New Casino Management, would have the machines so tight, but that is exactly the word. It was not a pretty picture, tight, stingy, and greedy. You would expect to get a few wins, here and there, to keep playing, but there was nothing. Nothing... I was mystified, then I was mad, like, I was on a mission to prove the Grand was not so underhanded. I wanted to prove at least one of their Keno machines would pay something. But No, there was nothing to show for our playing for three days, except, frustration. And for that, I give the Casino an "F" in the effort to keep returning customers, but the losses like this was a blow to my ego and my money. This trip was very bad, Decided to drown my sorrows in a cup of ice cream, but ther was no soft serve ice cream in their machines, and the soda area was filthy. It took an hour to get a cup of ice cream, but them they had no spoons. WOW. We went to Grand Stand Sports Bar, for our dinner. We ordered, Sprite, and Dr Pepper. Waitress was good, got seated right away, got our drinks zippity split. Was trying to read their new menu, but the coloring, and the font is script and for us, bordered on the impossible to read. So We ask for Taco salads. They no longer had taco salad,m no Chicken wings, No nachos, no burgers, no chicken fried steak, but they did have Pizza. Seriously., that's all? While we were trying to decide, there was all this hammering and pounding going on. Right across from our table a worker was building some sort of cabinet. My husband has hearing aids, so everything is amplified. We asked the waitress, how long that was going on. She said, they have been doing it all day. We knew we could not enjoy any type of meal in an atmosphere like that. We said we had to leave; the waitress understood, and did not charge us for the drinks. We left. We got a taco bowl mixture at the food court. The spicy meat was good, , but the fried rice and beans, not so much. Chips had a funky smell and taste. But the meat was good. Left most of our meal, and decided there was nothing else to do but go gamble. Like I said, that was a mistake from the start. Moving on to the Spa. My husband had a wonderful pedicure and a full hour of back massage. He loved Renee and Trinity. Well worth the trip. Then he went swimming in the 100 degree heat. The card reader would not read my card, nor my husband's card to get in or out of the pool area. Another guest helped us. Now the room. Two queen beds, really comfortable. the refrigerator, didn't work. So we waited on maintenance. Come to find out, there is no maintenance man for hotel. Finally they found someone but didn't really get it fixed, so they replaced it. The toilet kept filling with water. It would wait for awhile, then fill again. It was constant. We kept the door shut, so we didn't have to listen to it. The air didn't work, so they had to fix that. The big curtain was off it's rail, so we kind of pushed the chair over to hold it in place. Really lame what we had to do. At some point, they had to have had pets in that room, because there were fleas, as well as two pesky flies. The front desk staff was really nice, as was the security guard at the elevators. Breakfast each morning at the Grand Cafe. Truly great. Wait staff, food, everything was perfect. Friendly, absolutely great service. . The second night, we ignored the Sports Bar, and the Food Court, we ordered through Door Dash: Panda Express for me, and Rib Crib for my husband. Great food. The Bell Boys. All super great, conscientious and professional. Overall, we will not be back to play Keno.

After I played a machine and lost 200$ maybe 30 to 40 minutes in ,I went to go get a card, the sourpuss girl which wasn't helping me , said security was gonna tell me something about "my outside drink " I told her it wasn't a drink at all just pickles and candy i showed her the inside of a dried cup !! I told her a security pass and they saw me eating my snack , and didn't say anything.. I digress ... maybe her ego told on me , after I got the "players card " I went to the bar and asked for a beer.. (why would I have to go buy a beer if I was hiding alcohol in my tote ?? )paid for it , then I turn around and every security is in a huddle one of them (lady) comes to ask to search my bag , never in my life have I ever in the history of going to casinos has anyone ever searched my bag !!! I said you search everyone's bag ?she said yes for safety reasons" weapons " lol (while people are walking in and I'm looking straight at them )sooooooo if you search anyone they can be carrying one in their pants or purse, a lady there said she's never been searched , my husband who is white, was not searched either ?? There is no signs at door that say subject to search "when we feel like it" It was super emotional and definitely demeaning for me and her being a lady of color like myself was very uncomfortable.... the more I sat and played, the more i thought about what just occurred and just wanted to leave I made my money back and decided to leave ... I don't mind I was asked to take my cup to the car after all that , the part that threw me off was that they asked to search my bag for no reason just because it looked heavy or who knows why , but not once I went to Restroom or took anything out !!! I had already been there 30 minutes! I know casinos have cameras everywhere! Mind you I saw no sign that said to outside drinks unless I was blind I was so confused and embarrassed on my way out I forgot to take a picture! But fyi my husband and I were meeting his cousin there to hang out ! It would of been a nice tip time for the bartenders !!! Who also got a good tip from me even though she wasn't very friendly.... But whatever .. this was my experience I guess ....dont gamble at sac and fox when you are the only Mexican there !!! el tapatío restaurant btw 10/10 my post is very specific because I just want everyone to see how unnecessary this was ... casino could of taken all my money tonight heheh but maybe it's not meant to be and my jackpot awaits somewhere else . I wish I didn't have to make it about race but idk what to think ... to the blonde ‍ lady in the cage she was very nice !
