We just picked up our dog from her 1st grooming here and we are very pleased. She looks just as we discussed when dropping her off. The groomer came out and asked what we would like her to look like, making suggestions based on her breed. She took her from us and was immediately petting her to put her at ease. I usually use this place and have never had a problem, recently I brought my goldendoodle and the groom was very nice however when she came home she was acting completely different like she was scared not thinking to much of it I brought my cocker spaniel a few days later same thing nice groom but her eyes were blood shot red. Days later they are still red. Definitely a sketchy groomers now and will not be taking my dogs there again. Please be aware and make sure they aren't abusing your pets. I took her to the vet and said it could have been anything from choking her to soap in eyes. Just keep an eye out where you take your pets. read more

We have happily been getting our dog groomed at iPAW for a year now and absolutely love it. Their prices are affordable and provide exceptional service. They are always very accommodating and know their services very well. The first time we took him there was for a bath and grooming, and they just went above and beyond. I took my dog her a couple months ago and when she came home she wasn't herself she seemed very scared for a couple days! I'm pretty sure they abuse dogs because I've heard this from multiple people who went to this same place! And now from yelp someone had the same experience as me. Do not take your dogs here! Always accommodating! Sugar had an encounter with Pepe' La Pew last night & after four baths at home including with Tomato Juice she still was stinky. I called this morning with hopes of getting her in today. They didn't have an opening, but put me on the standby list & sure enough we got a callback within one hour. IPaws did a great job. I have used Pet Bath and Beyond in the past and they were great, but since moving to another side of town I've decided to go elsewhere. I had contacted a couple differ by pet groomers prior to iPAW and never heard back from them. I was heading to Home Depot when I saw a lady walking by with her pet and I looked and saw iPAW and realized I had overlooked them. So I decided to venture in to see what they offered in regards to packages and quality. I got the full deal for my golden and another package for my lab. I explained what I wanted and the lady in the front directed me in which package to choose for both dogs. Upon initial pickup everything was fine as I didn't want to hold them up as other customers were coming in so I paid and left. The rest of the day and next couple days I'm finding areas missed, done wrong, or not done at all. I paid for a service only to have the service done half fast and that's unacceptable. My goldens head, ears, and tail is choppy, some nails not trimmed to include dew claw. My lab didn't look as if he'd been brushed, nails not trimmed especially dew claw, and pads not trimmed. I most definitely will not be returning. read more

For the past few years I have taken my pup to Sarah along with my mom, sister, Grandma and cousin. Every time my fur baby comes back from the groomer, I see a major difference in her shedding AND her attitude. Shoot... she acts like I do after I go to the spa or get my hair done. Sarah is so sweet to Lucy and while most pups would be scared to go to a groomer, both Sarah and Lucy are excited to see one another. They meet with a wag and a kiss. I have taken my Service Dog to iPaw TWICE. Both times the smell of stale urine and ammonia was enough to knock me over. The grooming was okay, but the negligence on the part of the manager is something I simply cannot excuse. Equipment for a Service Dog is quite expensive. It costs me $100 to completely outfit my dog. BOTH times I have left my dog at iPaw, he has been returned to me with his leash nearly chewed in half. This could be easily remedied by hanging the leash on a hook away from his crate rather than putting it where he could get to it and, in his boredom, chew it up. Further, MOST grooming salons use a simple straight leash that a loop can be made into so the dog doesn't chew anything up. That is the SAFEST way for the dog as well. Needless to say, I was angry and the manager/owner was unbelievably rude, refusing to take responsibility for this problem. I will never step foot in the door of this establishment again!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Dropped off my medium sized 20 lb dog for a bath and a haircut. The lady tried to over charge me 20$ twice. When I took my Lucy home she had a giant slice down her stomach and she was BLEEDING!!! She must have cut her stomach with the clippers. But the worst part is that the lady did not tell me Lucy had been injured I had to find out for myself. How unprofessional and rude!!!There's a sign that says medium dogs start at 55. When I picked her up the manager tried to charge me 75$. I asked her why it was 75 and had reconfirmed that my 20lb dog is indeed a medium. She said yes my dog was medium sized, and did not answer my question as to why my Lucy would be 20 extra dollars. she clicked some random buttons on her computer and said yes will be 75$ today. I did not understand because she never answered my question as to why it would be 20$ extra. So I pointed out her sign that said medium dogs starting at 55$ she said "oh" and then brought me down to the 55$ price. She is foreign so I don't know if there is a language barrier or if she is just trying to squeeze money out of people but I WILL NOT BE BACK. read more

Although I do not own a pet, I have accompanied a friend to iPAW Pet Salon. I can safely say that if I did own a pet, I would be using this service. The staff are friendly and professional and they seem like they are all animal lovers. One can tell that they love their job and care what the customer asks. I know this is just a one time visit, but like they say, first impressions... I noticed that the salon was clean and organized. This isnt the first pet salon that I have visited and was pleasantly surprised there was no smell or hair everywhere as seen at other places. I felt welcomed and the environment had a "family type" atmosphere. Best in class, I can say, and I am not easily convinced - especially since I dont own a pet, anyone would feel confident in using this service.
