Do not take your kids here. I saw nurse practitioner (Kristin) and my whole family was very uncomfortable. She was very short and abrupt in her demeanor and my kids were clean uncomfortable. She did not attempt to reassure them or make them feel comfortable. I specifically said I didn't not want my boys genital area's examined (they are 11 and 13 and were not comfortable with that and I felt it was not needed) and she did it anyway! My kids needed a form filled out for camp and the threatened to not fill it out if they did not remove their clothing which was completely uncalled for and really not necessary for the exam they needed. I'm new to the area and was appreciative that this office was willing to accept new patients. However, my experience with the nurse practitioner (Kristin) was disappointing. I found her demeanor to be dismissive and, at times, rude. During the visit, she made comments about my parenting that felt judgmental rather than supportive. As a parent, I came in looking for guidance and partnership in my child's care, not criticism. The approach taken made me feel uncomfortable and unheard, which is not the kind of environment I'm looking for in a healthcare provider. While I value honest feedback, it should be delivered in a respectful and constructive way. Because of this experience, we've decided to explore other options for care. First check up for a newborn.... Newborn is covered under her mother's private insurance for 60days per policy and law. Went here as in-network provider. They won't bill insurance because newborn isn't on the card (private insurance through marketplace not employer). Horizon literally said she is covered and even called this office to tell them charge it to mother's insurance. They said no. And now horizon can't cover because no claim. And it's in-network! They told horizon no lol now I have to file insurance complaints over something that the insurer tried to settle over the phone with this office "our procedure is our procedure". Terrible assistants how do they not just listen to the insurance company that is trying to pay them and tell them how to get paid? I paid out of pocket I rather not sit there arguing but the situation is beyond ridiculous the insurance company (blue cross) literally called and said she is covered just bill the mothers plan and they wouldn't like wtf read more

I feel like I can finally leave an honest review since I've left the practice. I took my kids to see Kristin Depuyt a few times in the past year or so. Each and every visit, she had a comment to make at the end of the appointment that had nothing to do with the visit. For example, I took my 1.5 year old to her who did not want to sit still and wanted to look at everything in the office. Everything went fine until I was about to leave. She goes "take a picture of that book over there, I suggest you read that" it was a book that said "how to raise free spirited children". I was surprised because she had no mention of my daughters behavior prior. So I thought that was a bit passive aggressive. Then at another appointment, she began asking my older son questions after his well visit. I assumed she wanted to see where he was developmentally. She asked him about books which he did not read an entire book for the summer, he reads comics. She goes "I wouldn't give him an iPad until he picks up a book" and immediately after she tells him to unroll his pant waistline. My son is 8 and has the waist of a 5 year old so he rolls up the waist. My son actually told me he felt upset when she said that. It's because he's aware of how tiny his waist is and she pointed it out without speaking to me in private. There were more unwanted comments from her but I felt like I had enough. She makes me feel like a teen mom who knows nothing about being a parent. It's hard enough as it is navigating life with small children, the last thing I need is a nurse practitioner giving me medical AND parenting advice. If Kristin Depuyt is reading this, I have some advice for YOU to go take a bedside manners class and maybe approach sensitive topics in a different manner. read more

Been going here 4 years now and can leave an honest opinion. The staff and Doctors are very care oriented and tell you everything you need and want to know. A pleasure for my kid to go here although new technology is not easy-to-use. Ie signing in at a desk with no person there is tricky. I'm old school... read more

We recently moved the to area and have been on the hunt for a pediatrician. We've been blown away by their consideration and care. As a military family it's difficult coming to a new area to look for comprehensive care for our kids that will accept our insurance. Kristen has been available since dealing with an on going illness with our 4yo. As a working parent with a military spouse who is often away after school and weekend hours are so important. Also she is so accommodating with helping us avoid urgent care which aren't equipped for pediatrics. Kristen and the office staff are also personable and responsive. They make it easy to make appointments and are friendly when arriving at the office. Kristen really knows how to make the parents and kids feel comfortable when it seems like sickness is never ending! So thankful for having found this great group! read more

We've been with iPediatrics for almost 7 years now and their services always exceeds our expectations!!! Kristen (Dr. Depuyt) and her group are exceptional, professional and talented individuals! We absolutely love our Pediatricians Erinn and Kristyn at iPediatrics. Prior to the arrival of our first kid, we interviewed a number of pediatricians in the area and found an easy choice in the iPediatrics team. Their practice is BRAND new, but everyone there is quite experienced. The office is by far the cleanest and nicest doctor's office Ive ever seen. They put a lot of time and effort into designing the office, treatment and waiting rooms and it shows. Definitely not your typical doctor's office that's just thrown together. Everything is state of the art, their scheduling and communication is great. they are also working extended and weekend hours which I imagine will be hugely helpful in the future. The Pediatricians themselves are incredibly knowledgable, comforting and caring about our little guy. They have taken our new-parent syndrome in stride and show/explain everything quite thoroughly. -Happy parents read more

This place is amazing, and I feel blessed to have found it. Erinn, Kristyn and the entire staff are friendly, comforting, professional, and meant to work with children. They answer the phone on the weekend and call you back immediately which is unheard of. While at the appointment, they answer all of your questions and actually have time for you. Not to mention the office is very clean. They placed my newborn baby in another room as another sick child entered the office. It is that thoughtfulness that makes this place wonderful. Both Erinn and Kristyn love their jobs and it is evident every time I walk into the office. These women are very knowledge. I could praise this place all day. read more

Ipediatrics and Kristen are best! The office, patient rooms and waiting rooms are clean and have the best equipment. The staff are pleasant, helpful and kind. Kristen has been my children's primary NP for over 12 years. We couldn't be happier with her professionalism and the amount of effort, care and support she gives us. It's rare to find someone who helps you out all the time, she squeezes us in and always makes sure my kids are on their way to being well. I spoke with Dr Kristyn once for my son's tics and expressed my concerns over the phone. She explained to me it is what it is over the phone no need to see a Neuro dr but we give me numbers if I want. She stated he should grow out of them. A few days later a new tic occurred which prompted me to make an appt. She met my son (hes almost 6 yrs old) for the first time as we just moved here in Oct. She first seemed very cold as he tried to jump up on the exam table asking him to not do that cause she didnt want her cabinet to get messed up. She handed him a book he excitedly flipped through the pages. As he did that my 3 yr old happily played with a toy in the room and rang a bell on it. Rather than redirecting him to something quieter, she covered his hand over the bell and told him no before I had a chance to. She continued to "examine" my son heart lungs, throat. Then asked the boys out to play while we talked. She clearly sees im very pregnant and now begins to discuss my sons "issues." My son sees us talking about him and goofily jumps up and down smiling at us accidentally stepping on some toys. She gets annoyed saying see he shouldnt be doing that. He has adhd by that and the way he flipped the books pages. Then my son starts playing with the trucks... He lines them up and starts to smash them. She said and See! Now, THATS UNACCEPTABLE ! He should KNOW better at this age not to do that with someone else's toys. Normally, Id yell at a child that I know for doing that but I dont know him. I tired to explain to her well, we play that way at home. She NEVER gave me a chance to say hes big into Monster Trucks(they smash!) She un nicely goes onto say he needs a behaviorist! And needs to see a Neuro Dr for his tics... (last week on the phone it was a different story!) Then my son hits a truck into the woodwork. With annoyance she says Now see hes destroying my wall!! He shouldnt do that and Im sure youve told him a thousand times not to do that too. My heart fell into my gut! Im very pregnant and emotional Im sick to my stomach over my sons Tics and now this doctor who has NEVER met me nor my son and has zero background on him is saying such judgemental opinions towards him with ANY bedside manner! I went there for guidance and reassurance he will be OK.. She told me a behaviorist will reach out to me (this was 3 weeks ago no one has called) and my homework was to research a Neurologist (she didnt even suggest one.) I went home and cried. I was worst off after that visit and thinking now shes going to judge my sweet boy for his actions in a matter in SIX MINUTES! Of course she didnt see him as we waited prior him sitting there calmly making his Mommy a necklace.. I am actively looking for a new Ped for our Family due to this experience with her. Dr Melissa was always nice and caring(she saw my boys twice when sick and my son's well visit for school.) Wish I could say the same with Dr Kristyn. read more

I went through several pediatricians before I finally found iPediatrics. I was referred to them by several friends that use them. Erin & Kristen were both so patient with me & answered all of my million questions from day one! I felt they actually took the time to get to know me & my children. they don't have an answering service, you get one of them directly in an emergent situation, which I feel to be comforting!! The office staff is pleasant, the office is clean, and I've never waited more than a few minutes for appointments. I highly recommend iPediatrics!
