You can't ask for a better repair experience. This place beats the "geniuses" at your brand store on every level. It costs less, happens faster, and is way easier and more convenient to schedule. My screen repair took all of 10 minutes for a perfect result. I wasted more time at the "brand store" waiting to talk to an employee. Breaking your phone sucks. But at least fixing it doesn't have to. If--okay, statistically speaking, when--I break my phone screen again, at least I know that I can get it fixed quickly here for a fair price. BAD COSTUMER CARE! I took my iPhone 12 for repair. Frozen back glass and battery change. Murat was extremely helpful and did a great job an my phone looks brand new. The cost for the back glass repair is half of the price charged by Apple. My review was supposed to be very but I am NOT SO HAPPY with the BATTERY. Mine showed a 83% total charge capacity. The battery was exchanged (for $109! (Apple charges $89...) and now I cannot see what is the total capacity of the battery, meaning I am not able to know if the battery is now at a full capacity and will not be able to know when I will need to change it because when you try to see that information is no longer there because its not an genuine apple battery. I believe that I should have been advised that I could never again be aware of the battery life. Even this one I cannot be sure if is its full capacity.... I BELIEVE WE MUST BE ADVISED OF THIS BEFORE THE BATTERY REPLACEMENT! FOR THE PRICE AND LIMITATION I ADVISE TO DO BATTERY REPLACEMENT AT AN APPLE STORE. Before posting this review I contacted them to solve the problem. After a long conversation they proposed to put my original iPhone battery back but would only return USD89 (I payed 109) because they would charge USD10 fee to take it out and USD10 to put the old back! Came here on a Sunday afternoon after contacting the owner through Yelp. He provided one of the best prices out of the stores I requested quotes from so I decided to come here. The repair shop is located on the 9th floor of the address listed on here. However, if you decide to come on the weekend you will have to either message or call the owner for him to come down to open the door for you. There is no bell. I recommend coming on a weekday if possible because on those days there is a door person inside who can open the door for you. The repair shop was very cozy looking and quiet. I instantly felt relaxed coming into the store. There is a comfy couch you can sit at while you wait for the repair to be over. I got my iPhone 6 Plus fixed and had a great conversation with Volkan while he was working on my phone's screen. It was done in good time and he also threw in a free clear case (check in offer on Yelp). Overall, my experience was very pleasing. Be caraful. Make sure your phone is perfectly fine inside (not phisically opened before, no water, no changed parts). Otherwise he will use it as an excuse if he breaks your phone. I went to replace my front screen because it broke. The quality of the new screen was worse than the original one but i understood because it was cheap. However, when I got home I found that the front camera didn't work anymore. It was perfectly fine before he changed my screen. I went back the second day. He didn't even bother to check it, just saying it was my responsibility because my phone had been opened before. Yeah but that had nothing to do with my front camera. read more

I needed a screen replacement badly for my first Gen IPad mini. This device is over 3 years old so I was nervous no one would have a replacement screen and I wasn't going to Apple. I do my research before like a mad woman and was really happy with the previous reviews so I contacted Cell Fix for a quote. I was quoted within 30 minutes and it was pleased price. (I didn't feel like I was being ripped off like most of those shady corner phone shops) My iPad wasn't in great shape but he assured me that he could fix the screen by end of day. Since I was not able to make it later in the day to pick up, it was totally fine to pick up next day or whenever is convenient within store hours. Since it wasn't my cell phone I didn't mind being without my iPad for a day. First off all, nothing against Volkan, he seemed to be doing his best, but I just want to lay out the pros/cons of getting my iPhone 7 shattered screen replaced: Pros: -Fast service (~15 mins) -Threw in a free case and glass protector which was nice -waived credit card processing fee -cheaper than what Apple store charges (but please continue reading below) -offers to help if I find other issues later on with my phone (excluding breaking the screen again) Cons: -Screen color after the replacement was definitely off. Colors were more washed out and less vibrant. Very noticeable (I have been using iPhones since 2012 so I know this). He mentioned that this was due to the screen replacement being an aftermarket part, but it's hard to believe that the iPhone being such a prevalent product with multiple manufacturers trying to make a profit off the product, that there is not a screen on par with the original. Either A) that is true (hard to believe) or B) the quality of screen being used it just very bad and that you should source from a better supplier or C) some lighting or other part of the iPhone was damaged during the repair process, leading to the distortion of screen colors -unable to give me a discount on the purchase -unable to put back the shattered screen, so I can take it to Apple to have it repaired (I would have given him some payment for his time) I am pretty sensitive about how the colors on an iPhone look, given I use it to watch videos, take/edit photos, pretty much looking at it for hours each day (3 hours a day x 365 days/year x 2 years = 91.25 DAYS staring at a screen with washed out colors). Therefore I think its best that customers know about this color distortion BEFORE they agree to have their phone fixed. As for people that did not have this issue, I have no idea why it would only happen to me. Understandable this could happen when you try and save a few bucks, but I would like full disclosure before agreeing to have my phone fixed here. read more

AVOID! Quick and very helpful service, they were super nice. However, I fixed my phone less than two weeks ago and already have a tiny crack in my screen. It's barely visible to the eye and looks like a scratch, but you feel that it's actually a crack. I haven't dropped my phone and the nature of the crack just makes it seem like the glass/screen used is just super low quality. Additionally, my home button was loose after the repair. Would have loved to give 5 starts but yea, the quality is just ridiculously low. EDIT: So since I had to change my screen again because of the low quality, I this time went to a different shop. When they helped me out, they told me that the reason the home button was loose was because the screen I got install at my previous repair was a knock off with a poor fit, that caused stress on the home button which resulted in it being loose. At iPhone Repair Zone they told me it was because I had changed the screen so many times, but this was obviously just a lie. With the new screen I got at the other shop, it now works perfectly. SO, iPhone Repair Zone uses cheap knock of screen that fit poorly with low quality, and they additionally lie when causing issues. read more

I shattered my iPhone screen yesterday at around 3:30 pm. I called multiple spots on my way uptown and they either didn't have my screen in stock, needed to hold it overnight, or were asking a ridiculous price to where I could've just replaced the phone entirely. I now have to use Siri to type my messages and make phone calls. Extremely frustrating. One day after I got my screen fixed and wrote the review the screen stopped responding to my touch. I gave it a few days to see if it would fix itself and then called the owner to let him know it had not. He told me to go back in. I stopped by twice at 6:30pm and nobody was there. When I was able to go again there was a different man who told me there's no warranty on dropped phones. I explained that I didn't drop my phone, that it stopped working the day after and that I had already spoken to the owner to let him know I would be coming in... I was told to wait another 10 days to speak with him again. I don't write reviews good or bad usually but I appreciate customer service and supporting people that deserve it. I understand that my new screen may need something tweaked and waited to post a follow-up comment until I had a chance to talk to them. The guy helping the owner out didn't even try to see if he could fix it and he seemed to forget the door wasn't sound proof once I walked out and waited for the elevator. Not professional. So I originally thought this guy was great. He fixed my iPhone 6 cracked screen in about ten minutes. Before I left I asked him why he had a handful of one-star bad reviews since he was so quick and nice. He said they were fake reviews from competitors and that if anything happened to my phone after I left to come back and be would take care of it. and I was silly to believe him. The very next day, I was about to start a 3 hour drive to a wedding and my screen went totally black. I mean it just went out. The phone would still beep for texts so I know it was working but the screen was dead. It had to be related to the repair the prior day as I hadn't dropped it since and nothing else had happened. I was phone less for two days then went back to him when I got back to NYC. He opened it up and couldn't figure out how to fix it, so he then told me basically it was my fault with a series of possibilities like: " you must have dropped it again" -- I didn't, in that 18 hours since he changed the screen " your kids must have messed with it" (haha I don't have kids" "You must have done a software update that messed it up" -- no because if I put pressure on the top left corner of the screen the light would flicker so it must be a mechanical problem. None of his insinuations about it being my fault made any sense and I told him that. He basically said there was nothing he could do and it must be something I did. I told him I would need to now go to the Apple Store so if he could refund me we would be even despite the wasted hours. He absolutely refused, said it wasn't his problem, and got SO RUDE ABOUT IT. I didn't get a refund and ended up getting it fixed at the Apple Store. By the way, Apple will fix a screen for just $10 more than this guy so he is NOT WORTH THE RISK. Bottom line: this guy will fix your phone but if anything happens afterwards you are screwed so I would advise others to stay away from him!!!!! I really regret going to this shop. read more
