I've been to this Best Buy several times over the years, as it's the closest one to me…read more How this massive store remains open is kind of surprising in today's online shopping world. This store is fairly large and there's plenty of space inside. Parking lot is large as well, and there's usually plenty of spaces available. As far as customer service, everyone I've interacted with this time and in the past has been pretty helpful and friendly. Today I came in to pick up a Christmas order I placed online. I ordered this morning and it was ready within about an hour or so. I was able to just walk inside and head over to the pick up counter. Process was smooth and easy.

I purchased an LG Styler from Best Buy and waited almost two months for it to arrive. When I…read morefinally went to pick it up today, I ended up leaving without the product and with a very disappointing customer service experience. After arriving and checking in for curbside pickup, I got a phone call and realized I had accidentally gone to the Anaheim location instead of the Fullerton store. That was completely my mistake, so I immediately drove to the correct location. Once I arrived, I was told to come inside and show my ID. At the pickup counter, the employee asked what kind of vehicle I had. I told him I drove a BMW iX SUV, and he said the Styler wouldn't fit and suggested that I rent a truck from the Home Depot across the street. I went back to my car to double-check the dimensions. While looking at my order in the Best Buy app, I noticed that during the nearly two months I had been waiting, the price of the Styler had dropped by $100. Since the employee had also told me delivery was free, I asked if the order could simply be changed to delivery instead. That's when things started going downhill. While he was making the change, I noticed a $99 delivery fee showing on the customer screen. When I asked about it, he had to check with another employee. I also noticed the order was still showing the original purchase price, so I asked whether the current sale price would be applied. He cut me off and told me to wait. From that point on, his attitude felt dismissive and unfriendly. Eventually, the price was adjusted and the delivery fee was removed. Then I was told delivery wouldn't be available until July, which meant waiting almost another two months. At that point, he suggested that I just rent a truck and take it home myself. I asked whether free delivery included bringing the unit inside the house. He told me it would cost an additional $25. I then asked if that included inside delivery and installation. Instead of answering, he just looked at me. Honestly, it felt like he was annoyed that I was even asking questions. At that point, I got the impression that he was more interested in ending the interaction than helping solve the problem. I eventually asked him to cancel everything. He said it was canceled, gave me no receipt or confirmation, and immediately walked away to help another customer. The most frustrating part came afterward. When I got home, I placed the exact same order online myself. Not only was it $100 cheaper than my original order, but I was also able to schedule free delivery for the following week. I don't know whether this was a system issue, a training issue, or simply poor customer service. What I do know is that after waiting nearly two months for a product, I expected at least some effort to help resolve the situation. One employee isn't enough to make me stop shopping at Best Buy, but this experience was extremely disappointing. Situations like this are exactly when a manager should step in and help find a solution, but unfortunately that never happened.

I brought my laptop in for repair (power failure) and was initially told by the technician that it…read moreshould be fixed within a week. Since it was during a holiday, I didn't want to bother them too much, but I didn't receive any updates for nearly three weeks. When I finally called to check the status, the owner told me they couldn't repair it. While I understand that not every repair is possible, I would have preferred to be informed sooner so I could retrieve my laptop. Later that same day, the owner called back and said they might be able to source a donor laptop to swap parts and asked for an additional two weeks. I agreed to give them more time. However, after the promised 2 weeks, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called again. The owner didn't have an update and asked me to call back the next day. When I did, the owner became upset, claiming he had told me to call back at noon, which he ABSOLUTELY had not. Why does it take a day just to check the status anyways? BTW I called at 11:50 am! Are you F ing kidding me you are upset for 10 minutues (which I was not even aware of) after a month of no response? His reaction was VERY unprofessional. He then calls me for the first time at 12:00 pm to tell me they still couldn't fix the laptop. I picked up my laptop and took it to an old friend who used to do repair work. Even though he's semi-retired and farther away, he diagnosed the issue correctly and had the laptop running again within three days. This may have been an isolated experience, but I highly recommend you avoid this place. I won't be returning!
