We are beyond thrilled with our pool remodel by iPools. From start to finish and now with weekly service added, we have found Ivan and his team to be very professional, communicative (he even sends us quick videos of any items that need attending to), and highly skilled. Ivan is passionate about his business, takes pride in and stands by his work, and values our business and the investment we made in our pool. I really enjoyed collaborating with Ivan on our project as we discussed usability, functionality and practicality. We added 2 benches, reduced the depth of the deep end and opted for a radiant (glass beads and abalone shells) finish pebble. It's gorgeous! Our prior remodel done 10 years ago was by one of the local businesses who might stop by from time to time during construction but never would communicate directly. If there was an issue, it was too much trouble to bother asking for a resolution. It was the exact opposite of this experience with iPools. Ivan went above and beyond during all phases of the remodel--most notably when he made sure the slope of our existing pool was corrected during the shotcrete stage. That wasn't a request that we would have even known to make. Additionally, Ivan has a great working relationship with the construction crews involved in building a pool. This makes such a difference as, again, the dynamic was so different this time around being a much more pleasant and respectful environment for all involved. I'm very grateful to have had this positive experience as I truthfully dreaded the construction phase. It's quite nice to have an ongoing business relationship as I know once the original pump or heater goes out, that Ivan will get it handled asap. There's never been an upsell of any equipment that we don't need or want. It's like we have a pool consultant now as part of our pool service. The quality of their weekly pool service and knowledge of Health Department compliance regulations is far superior than other companies we've worked with in the past. They are very fast to respond to any questions we have and upon hiring them, they produced all of the legal paperwork needed for commercial pool service to us such as their Los Angeles County Health Dept license, proof of liability insurance, contractors license and chemical logs that are kept on a clipboard in the pool pump room. We were getting pool "service" for a few months. The tech was here for about five minutes each time. Leaving a filthy pool bottom that I had to clean myself the day after they came. See pic. They got cancelled. Just to be clear, the owners response about the cancellations is true. We did postpone a number of appointments; however there were two service visits after the completion of our yard work. The pic I took was ONE day after they came the on the last visit ( and we didn't have workers after their last visit contaminate the pool). They simply did an incomplete job. They did not brush the bottom of the pool that has sediment. They just did a quick vacuum and goodbye. It's so hard for business owners to take accountability these days. read more

Ivan is amazing! We moved into a new place with a pool and spa. At closer inspection, the pool and spa didn't seem quite right. The prior owner had weekly pool service so it seemed strange the system looked so dirty. Turns out whole thing wasn't being properly serviced. The filter was for a different kind of pool. The levels were off and it didn't have conditioner. Ivan came in and assessed the problems and got started fixing it right away. He had us up and running. We had a pool built about 8 years ago. The builder recommended a pool maintenance company. It wasn't a great experience. I felt like I knew more than the guy they sent (and I knew almost nothing). We then found Ivan and have never looked back. He is amazingly responsive by text or email (like within seconds or minutes), extremely knowledgeable, and super responsible. TEN STARS! WOW just WOW - the service, the speed, the latest equipment, AHMAZING! Ivan and his team did a retrofit on our "Mid Century Charmer" pool. That's right, the 1961 Seahorse got an update of plumbing, electric, pump, filtration and overnight - OVERNIGHT the pool is crystal, sparkling, absolutely beautiful. Ivan is wonderful to work with. His technician was lovely, he taught me and the kids how to use the new equipment and he was so nice, knowledgeable and super competent. They carted off TONS of the old stuff, I didn't have to do anything! I honestly don't know why I didn't do this YEARS ago. Like last century. We had been backflushing AND changing out the honeycomb DE filters WEEKLY. Trying to replace the old honeycombs was getting impossible. And super expensive. I ran a quick calculation - and just based on the new energy efficient setup that was installed, we will save over $2500 a year on electricity alone. THANK YOU iPOOL!!!! read more
