Best pool service in the South Bay! I have a small pool in my yard and I get it serviced about once a month and I've had some tile work done to it as well and Anthony P the supervisor is always responsive to my calls he becomes available when needed and that's truly appreciated especially in this competitive type of business where customer service is everything! We have been using Rancho Pool Service for a number of years, and there is a reason .. They do EXCELLENT work ! From serving our pool to repairs, tile work and new beautiful pebble tec finish, new heater, new valves.. you name it we have had them do it .. Our pool is old ( 1980 ) and a piece at a time we have had Rancho replace or repair.. estimates are always fair, the technicians / workers are clean & nice and everyone from our weekly pool tech to the people in the office are professional and easy to talk to. A special shout-out to Anthony who is the Operations Supervisor, he is very hands on and takes ownership of any concern or problem .. With a team like this your pool is in good hands !! read more

Started out ok, but fund they didn't always come as scheduled and often left the pool a mess and if it is raining, even just a sprinkle they don't come at all! Last time they came they told me I needed a new motor,. quoted me like almost $1000 for new motor and labor! That after coming just one time during the month, because of rain...yet I paid for the whole moth of no service! Really poor customer service over phone and rude! Found new service. they fixed the motor for half the price! they show up every week, regardless of weather and are cheaper!!!!! Look around! read more

These guys are great! I have a hot tub and they come to clean/service it once a week. Friendly professional and a very fair price if you ask me. When I was looking for a a company to service my hot tub I called around and they were the most reasonable. Be warned!!!!! They are a terrible company and will destroy your equipment with their non knowledgeable pool technicians that we went through 3 different guys in less than a year and the supervisor Anthony is a very rude sarcastic and just doesn't care about anything but billing you for stuff they never even provided..First pool tech was fired for stealing from a client in Manhattan Beach and arrested,then the second guy they sent would show up when ever he liked and they charged us on multiple occasions that I'm 100 percent positive he lied when he said he was at our home earlier that day,cause we have 3 cameras and I went back into the Arlo libraries and checked every camera and of course I was right and the next guy who only came 2 times a month and sent random people without telling us and destroying our pool by just adding conditioner and you name it, after I told them multiple times that we got algae last time because our salt cell was clogged and I can go on and on and on how bad their customer service is but you can already see from others that's a no brained.. Anthony sent a pool technician to do a pool mechanic's job to look at algae problems and I told him to just stop and check salt cell and of course it was clogged and 3 days later I found it leaking and Anthony still doesn't send a mechanical but sent a technician instead who ran out of here after he made the leak 20 times worse and left pool dirty ect and Anthony had the audacity to ask me why I'm so upset over a simple salt cell and was a total asshole and very sarcastic and actually tried to say he would send someone to fix the salt cell but I would have to pay same day with either cash or card, and I had to explain how crazy that sounds when they caused the problem and then he back peddled and said ok I'll do you the favor and not charge you..WTH??? They break something and let it get so bad it was clogged shut so no salt can turn into chlorine and then want to charge us to fix?? I had them servicing one of our pools at a rental apartment building and the manager had to call and chase them almost every week cause I had no cameras to catch them charging us for services never done..DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THESE DOPE FIENDS COMPANY THAT WILL START OFF ALL DANDY AND TURN TO CRAP IN A MONTH..YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED..RIP OFF ARTIST AND VERY RUDE PEOPLE NOT TO BE TRUSTED WITH YOUR POOL AND EQUIPMENT OR EVEN AT YOUR HOME FOR THAT MATTER read more

We just had a new variable speed pump installed - although pricey we love it, very quiet. And I cannot say enough about Sam who did a fantastic job on the installation and communication with us. Very responsive and thorough. Those of you who had a bad experience in prior years should give them another try, they are very good!! read more

We switched from another pool service because of lack of 'service' and prompt response from the other company. Rancho's service has gone down noticeably in the last few months. Consistency is not there in service or the scheduled time they should be at the house (we have two large dogs-and I need to know when they are here so I can put them in the house). I know there were one or two service people who may have left--but they should be able to maintain the level of service and not let the customer (me!) have to call them over and over "where is the person"? It's hard to get good service these days. We've been very very patient with this company and it might be time to rethink and look somewhere else if their service does not improve..right now, person still has not shown up--they should be here no later than 9:30am. Marnie - Mike - you all need to get it together or maybe hire better and pay them better to keep good people. read more

Rancho pool service does a great job. Whenever there's something wrong Judy or other members will call me and notify me. Also, I once had a concern about my bill and she highlighted and printed out exactly how they calculated and sent bills date to date. Very organized. I was working outside with the cable guy and 50 dollars fell out of my pocket unknowingly, which I was supposed to pay the guy with that money. (I usually don't carry money like that in my pocket). I couldn't find it that night so next morning I asked my pool man if he sees the money to give me a heads up, he immediately said Ill check the filter right away, unfortunately it wasn't there. BUT! He helped me find two 20 dollars!! We couldn't find the 10 but just told him that if he does he contact me. The owner actually lives down my street so I feel comfortable and trust the company. Anyways, the pool looks nice and clean after he comes, just the way I prefer it. read more

Rancho Pool has been so attentive to our pool needs over the last six months. We had a discoloration problem due to the water chemistry which happens when the pH gets too low and reacts to the copper in the heater, plus our acid levels were too high. Rancho took full responsibility of the situation and treated the pool with a bleaching treatment for the chemical fallout. They came out several times over a time period to monitor the bleaching treatment. It was a long process but the care and efficient manner in which Rancho Pool cared for the situation was very much appreciated. A big thank you to Mike, Jeff and especially Anthony and Jonathan who have been on top of this from the beginning. They were even here on the 4th of July to make sure the pool was clean for us to enjoy the Holiday. Amazing customer service! Did not do a good job maintaining my pool, on several occasions the water turned green. I complained several times it took a few days for them to come out. They added fees to the bill without even asking if I needed the service. I would not recommend them. When I spoke to Jeff about his service he was rude and unprofessional. When I canceled my service they stated we will not give ur key back until you pay your bill and of course my Bill had several extra fees for items supposedly needed.. The pool was new so it was just scam to charge more. read more
