Me…read moreand my 2 other female roommates just moved into our east village apartment where 3 nasty gross college boys lived before us. needless to say the apartment was absolutely disgusting. we were basically crying every night over how yucky it was. my roommates and i searched all over yelp and we decided on cleaning frenzy since we were able to book online and we decided to do this late at night because in new york who has time to do it during the day. we had our appointment at 8 am today and she showed up at 7:45 am to set up. we didnt know they had a move-in service (we booked a regular cleaning) but they basically did a more deep clean anyway. we didnt have a mop or broom so they literally went out and bought us some to keep in our apartment and for them to use while cleaning which was so nice and unnecessary. they even left potted flowers by our kitchen sink! the apartment is sparkling and i am so excited to finally be gone of all of the nasty remnants from the gross boys who lived here before us. i feel so bad that the poor girl had to clean our gross apartment but the owner contacted us to let us know she left us the broom/mop and didnt make us feel bad at all that our apartment was a pigsty :) i even put all my boxes on top of my bed since i hadnt unpacked, and they stacked them neatly for me in the corner and made the bed. im also fairly certain she even cleaned the baseboards by hand as they are now a nice shade of white when they were basically brown before (again GROSS BOYS. RARRR!). seriously our apartment smells like clean and i am so happy. also they cleaned while all my roommates and i were gone at work and i would totally trust them alone in an apartment. theyre amazing. use them.!!

Let me give you the rundown. I requested a quote from them, weary that they had only one yelp review. I'm glad I did. Dino left me his number, and I called him, asked some questions about his company. Who will be doing the move, are they professional movers? Do you take breaks during, or will it be a straight job? Will you stick as close to my quote as possible? Are there hidden fees? He answered them with such an ease, I gladly accepted his offer to make my move happen. I filled out his questionnaire, I made sure I was thorough in describing what I needed moved. His quote was cheaper than everyone else's. The next day, Dino and his associate came to my apartment, helped me unhook a bookcase from the wall, appraised what needed to be moved first before starting the job. Guys, these folks are professionals! They did such a great job for a two-person team. They even let me ride with them in the vehicle, and told me about themselves. Apparently they're from Montenegro, how cool! Once they arrived to my new place, they moved everything with ease, some heavy storage containers with endless amounts of books and other things. I even asked if I could help, they said no, all good. Everything took about 3 hours. Super fast, super sweet. I told them when I'm ready to leave NYC in two years, they must move me then. In the morning, they sent a text confirmation about today's pickup. At 2:30pm, they texted us telling us they were running late and would be here at 5pm. Okay, things happen. After multiple calls in the last 4 hours, it is now 6:30pm and no one is here. The original driver who told us he was running late apparently reached out to a 2nd driver. The 2nd driver told us he was in Queens. Neither driver is anywhere to be found and both driver thought the other driver was going to get us. The 2nd driver said he would call his manager to see if he could leave our things in the truck overnight (because the storage unit closes at 8pm), but then later said his manager didn't pick up. This has left us sitting with our stuff outside in the cold (it's 10 degrees today in New York City) because our building doesn't allow us to leave our stuff in the hallway. Not only that, it is 6:30pm and we don't know if ANYONE is coming or what to do with our stuff. This kind of communication or LACK of communication, between the drivers themselves, and between us and the drivers and complete lack of reliability is absolutely unacceptable.
