Mr. Ami gave us personalized information about the neighborhood, contacted three different contractors, and attended the open house with them. He sent us videos and photos, called us to video chat while there to answer any remaining questions and talk through the details of the condition of the house, its needs, optional fixes/upgrades, etc. He let us decide what work exactly we'd want estimates for and got us the contractors' bids for all of the fixes on our needs and wants lists, including one estimate that was surprisingly great, all the same day, and with time to write an offer. One of the big expenses was going to be emptying the house of tons of books, and he offered to put us in contact with someone who would be able to pick them up for free. Basically in every detail Ami was great at brainstorming good solutions and supportive of what we wanted. In the end, we understood that investors were bidding the price higher than our intended budget, so we declined to proceed, but even then he sent us the nicest response about it, no problem. What a gem. We found him easy-going and friendly, and down-to-business when it was time to be. Great qualities to make you feel comfortable in your house search but also know he'll go to bat for you.
