When their washer and dryer broke--their responsibility to fix--they dragged their feet, and when I finally paid out of pocket to get the dryer repaired, they flat-out refused to reimburse me. Then came the rent hike. As if that wasn't enough, they stole my deposit and slapped me with an additional $400 in unexplained charges. No explanation, no breakdown--just a bill. Now this mess is spiraling into a legal battle, because that's the only language they seem to understand. From the top down--owner to maintenance--this company is a showcase of unprofessionalism and incompetence. If you value your money, your sanity, or even basic human decency, steer far, far away.

I kept thinking it would improve when staffing changed, but it never did (naturally of course, my rent kept going up). The hours at the office are terrible (and not what is listed... even pre-pandemic) and that's the only place you could go to fill your laundry card for my complex (I would have had to miss work to get there in time and the office is out of the way). I didn't do laundry on site after the initial fill as a result. They didn't disclose this in advance. Every repair in my apartment was poorly done and they never had a sense of urgency (even when I had water coming into my apartment from a roof leak). They gave the very bare minimum when they had termites and had to tent (about a month after I moved in), which didn't even cover one night in a motel. I had bubbles and cracks in the paint from water in the walls and caulking that they used to fill the hole in the bathroom. When my fridge broke, it took them seven weeks for the replacement to be completed (part of this time was due to the pandemic, but not all), including two days where they left the fridge just in front of my front door in the sun. When they did paint repairs the first time, they didn't cover my things and got paint on my table (so I had to make sure I was present to protect my things for all future repairs). Many of my emails went without response (like the day I had no water). I did get my full deposit back, but if I move again from my current spot, I'll be sure to avoid any Rehmann properties in the future.
