My daughter has been coming to this school for a year now and she has learned so much! We are Latinos and not at all Korean nor do we speak it but what brought me to choose this school was how much they prioritize learning about the gospel They do worship and chapel every single day and start a new lesson every week. Also although my girl is only 3 she already is practicing writing her name and learning about so many different things. Also picking up some Korean words here and there which is amazing. She's also enjoying learning to be independent! They encourage that a lot in school which helps me here at home with how she handles tasks. She's getting such an advantage in education and not only with worksheets (which are important) but also through hands on learning and themed weeks So far she's learned about space, traveling, American and Korean culture, important American history, and so much more! Yes she's 3 and has a lot to learn but learning from this early has been so beneficial for her. They do such cute crafts for all the themed holidays which is my favorite keepsakes at home They are constantly having fun with either birthday parties or parties where the parents have the option to help with donating different foods or treats like ice cream and I don't mind donating at all she loves sharing with her class and bringing things for everyone to try She also gets a great nutrition at the school with daily fresh homemade meals and snack. She's not even picky about greens and veggies since she's been exposed and encouraged at school to try new things all the time. The teachers and staff are very kind and know my daughter very well even if they aren't in her class she knows them all by name. She's also had Christmas performances, ballet performances and they also do taekwondo but my daughter was not interested she did get a free trial though Every penny we spend here is worth it and I definitely recommend it. We know how hard work life can be being away from our kids sometimes and I completely trust them to take care of my daughter while I work. TL;DR iRemnant has a high turnover rate of teachers, lack of communication, profit-driven, early exposure to screens, and mostly worksheet-based activities. We'd been at iRemnant for 2.5 years and have seen our two children grow up here. They've had some wonderful teachers throughout the years that really loved on our children: Sunny teacher, Moon teacher, Laura teacher, Hyunjoo teacher, Kris teacher, to name a few. And a special shout out to Sunny teacher who even buys birthday presents for the kiddos out of her own pocket :`) Unfortunately, the con's outweighed the pro's for us and we moved my daughter to a different Korean Christian preschool a few months ago. And although this new school is farther and less convenient for us, we are SO happy with our decision. We didn't realize how amazing a preschool could be because we didn't know anything else, so I wanted to share my honest review with all the parents out there who want nothing but the best for our precious children. I'll start with the positives: there's a big, grassy area to play in, lots of bikes and car toys to ride outside, animals on the property, homemade Korean lunches, and many loving teachers. And we are so grateful to have met so many wonderful families at this school. Now onto the negatives... sit tight for this one. 1. There is a high turnover rate of teachers. After Sweet class for ages 2-2.5 in less than a year span, my son had FOUR teacher transitions. Some of the teachers had only stayed for a few months! What also didn't sit right with me is the director didn't even inform us one of his teachers left. She instead had another teacher cover that class and hoped we wouldn't notice? Several parents and I were very upset about that and when I addressed this with director Grace, she blamed the teacher for leaving and didn't take any responsibility for her lack of communication. We all know the reason for a high turnover rate of staff members... and frankly, I don't even blame the teachers for leaving, because they're overworked and underpaid. 2. iRemnant is very profit-oriented. While I understand that childcare is a business, it also feels like the school nickel and dimes the families every chance it gets. For example, there is a supply list for each class and some of the requests are quite ridiculous. They want each student's family to buy color card stock paper that costs $25, aluminum foil, disposable gloves, ziploc bags... things the costly tuition should cover. My husband was especially irked when they asked for ice cream donations from families... something the school can buy for literally $20 for ALL the kiddos. They also ask for mandatory "donations" for things like the Christmas performance for videography and costumes, when they literally recycle costumes every year. It's really not about the money... it's about the principle. Don't say the money you're asking for is one thing when it really isn't... there's no integrity in that and it really bums me out that a Christian preschool does this. PLEASE consider the message you're sending with your actions. 3. There is a lot of sitting down and working on worksheets after the toddler class. At age 2. I don't know about you but I really don't want my two-year-old just sitting and coloring all day. I truly believe kids learn best through play and hands-on learning. I also try to limit screen time for my kids and didn't like how they were exposed to TV before age 2: during meal time setup, worship time (all through screens), and at the end of the day. At 5 PM, they gather all the kids in one room and turn on the screen for them. My son came home talking about all these TV shows and movies he watched, so we started picking up our kids before 5 PM to avoid this. Additionally, I'm really turned off by the fact that the director asks current parents to write positive Yelp reviews once a negative one comes in. How uncomfortable for parents to be put in that position, whose children attend the school and are pressured into writing a positive review. In my book, that's completely unethical (and maybe even against Yelp regulations??). And the amazing teachers you read about in the reviews? Probably not there anymore. I REALLY hope iRemnant can turn things around and use the preschool to BLESS the children and families. How amazing it is to have the privilege of raising these little ones in their mind and character! My twins have been attending iremnant for the past six months, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The progress they've made in such a short time is incredible--they've have broadened their vocabulary so much since starting school there. We especially value the bilingual Korean environment. We love that the daycare helps our children engage with and appreciate different languages and cultures. The small classroom sizes provide a nurturing and personalized learning environment. The teachers are so kind, caring, and encouraging, and it's clear they genuinely love what they do. Our twins are always excited to go, and seeing their enthusiasm every morning reassures us that they're in the best hands. We also love the home-cooked-style meals provided every day. My son was verbally and physically attacked by one of the daycare teachers. Someone who has been there for 12 years. I was notified by a fellow mother and initially in disbelief. However, the police provided me the video recording; to have seen the entire incident firsthand, I was left entirely in disbelief and despair. I am thankful I pulled my son out of the daycare immediately. The director and "board members" have handled the situation very poorly after everything that happened. We can't say enough about how much we love iremnant. It has been such a warm, supportive, empowering environment for our shy son. Since he started in march 2023, we have watched him grow more confident every week, and he is always so excited to go to school and play with his friends. So thankful for iRemnant! I transferred my 6-month-old and 2-year-old from a nice Montessori preschool to iRemnant because I wanted to prioritize care and curriculum in a God-centered environment. As any parent needs to build trust with their child's care center, iRemnant made it easy for our family. I love getting pictures throughout the day through their app, and my boys are clearly having a great time. But I really want to say, it is the teachers that have given me confidence and comfort at iRemnant. It is so apparent that the teachers truly care about the development of my boys. They take the time to update me every day at pick-up with fun moments and also room for learning. I truly feel like they are partners in raising my sons. Our toddler started iRemnant when he was 11 months old. I was impressed with how attentive his teachers were to each of the kids. I can tell he really enjoyed being there too. Most days he couldn't wait to leave my arms and go to class, which as sad as it was at first, I realized the importance of having a daycare he was excited about. After all, he spent more waking hours there than he did with us. Our baby has grown into a sweet, smart, caring and funny boy who loves to sing and interact with others. We've been sending our child to iRemnant since he was 14M to present - almost 3Y. Through this time, he has been thriving in all aspects and a good amount of that is due to attending this daycare. We love how they serve a variety of nutritious, well-balanced meals and how our son is exposed to a dual culture environment. We also love how they value the importance of outdoor play and have free range chickens as well as other bird species for the kids to observe. Above all, the staff genuinely care for the children. We cherish how the head pastor drove up to the mountains to bring back snow for the kids to play in and how supportive his teacher was when we were potty training our son. It's reassuring that the Director's child attends the daycare too, so she can relate to any concerns we may have as parents. As a first-time mom, I had a lot of anxiety and stress enrolling my then 6-month-old son into daycare. Trusting another person to care for your child as well as you was very important to me. My son has been attending iRemnant for 8 months now so I figured it was appropriate time to leave a review. I love that the daycare building is behind the large church. I love the sense of privacy and security. Upon entering the facility, you need a passcode to enter the gates, love the added security measure. The facility is visibly very clean. All teachers, staff, and students (and visitors) remove their shoes prior to entering a room/building. This is especially important in the infant and pre-toddler class since the babies are rolling, crawling, and playing on the floor. I've toured other centers where I've seen dirt track onto shoes which is then carried into the rooms where the kids are stationed. Ecck. Students are served daily meals and snacks! And when I say meals/snacks, I do not mean crackers, yogurt, and cheese! Each day they get freshly cooked food! A menu is provided each month with varieties of healthy food! What a joy to not have to pack food every day! There is thematic learning each month. A monthly calendar is provided to showcase what the students will learn. I love getting cute art pieces that is sent home. Other positives: the teachers are sweet and super attentive, a monthly newsletter is sent out, fire/emergency drills take place, the teachers/school communicates via an app which includes DAILY photos of your child and their summary of the day (I look forward to receiving pictures of my son since I am gone all day), my son isn't walking yet, but he is taken on daily stroller walks (and gets to see exotic birds and roosters!), picture day is annual, and there is an end of the year holiday program/concert! read more

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. I personally witnessed a child getting verbally and physically abused and unfortunately my son also witnessed it as well. When I first told the director what I witnessed, there was absolutely no anger for the child but a very passive response saying she "unfortunately did not see it". I felt so frustrated that the director of the school was not understanding the gravity of the situation and now am left feeling so traumatized by what I saw. My son had also been telling me two weeks prior to this incident that there was a teacher always yelling at his friends and that she was mean. He started to cry not wanting to go to school all of a sudden and I thought it was so strange because he never did that, and so I brought it up to the director and she mentioned a different teacher was coming into his classroom during nap time so his current teacher could go on break. She mentioned he was probably just adjusting to the new teacher and so unfortunately I took her word for it and dismissed his cries and stories and kept sending him to the school. But the day of the incident is when he told me that that was the teacher he was talking about and I was and am still so livid that he has been around that kind of abusive and toxic rage the past few months. Sadly, more stories are surfacing about kids being yelled at and dragged around in the hall by this teacher. Even though they did fire her there has still been a lack of action and transparency from the school of letting other parents aware of the situation so therefore I feel the urgency and need to write the review. I would never ever want any other kid and parent to experience or witness what my son and I had seen. Please look elsewhere. read more

My child loves school! He absolutely adores his teacher, Ms. J. She is very patient with my son who can be stubborn at times. She shared that she gives a lot of positive reinforcements to motivate him to stay on task. I appreciate that she takes the time to send pictures and videos so I can see what happened throughout the day. My son is learning a lot at school. As a speech therapist who works at an elementary school, I work closely with teachers, and I'm happy with what and how he's learning. I'm thankful that the staff was so diligent and patient with my son while he was potty training. The classrooms are so clean! No shoes are worn in the buildings. Clean floors are important for young kids because they spend so much time playing and learning on the ground. The school provides amazing and healthy lunch daily. What he eats at school is way better than what we can provide at home. It takes such a huge load off my shoulders to not have to worry about packing his lunch and snack everyday. We started our son at iRemnant since he was 8 months old and it has been a very positive experience for our family! As first time parents we weren't sure what to expect but the teachers have been very kind and warm to us and our son. They take the time to answer your questions and make you feel comfortable. Our son has so much fun at daycare everyday! We also love that there is a curriculum and various subjects that he learns about, even when he started in the "infant" class. We feel very comfortable sending our son to daycare everyday and we're thankful that he enjoys his time with his teachers and classmates! We actually drive 30 minutes from our home to send her to iRemnant as we felt this daycare was the best. My two kids have attended IRemnant for over two years now. My younger one started in the youngest class (infant class, from 6mos+) and my older one is now in the oldest class offered (Pre-K). They are meticulous and honest in every aspect of child care, and we are happy with our experience so far, from caring teachers, great curriculum and diverse activities, to organic lunches and snacks. - Communication Director Grace and the teachers are transparent and communicative in all things, from daily updates/photos via the ProCare app, monthly lesson plans and meal plans, bimonthly newsletters, annual calendar and notices of special events and closure on the door, and personally via email and text. They have parent-teacher conferences twice a year, and welcome any additional input any time. There is cctv footage if any incident needs reviewed, and they have openly shared any inspection results / incident review with all of the parents in line with licensing office regulations. - Curriculum The whole school follows monthly themes (like family month, God's creation, president/elections, summer around-the-world, community members) with relevant programs that go along those themes (firetruck visit, family Olympics, water play day, etc.). Each classes then customize the daily activities based on age/capability e.g., coloring for younger one, scissors practice and water painting for older one. Teachers hand out monthly lesson plans divided into four weeks, covering all topics such as language arts, counting, music, and math/cooking/phonics (for older classes). At the end of each month, you get a folder full of your child's work. By beginning of Pre-K, children are already at Kinder level in reading 3-letter sight words and counting up to 100, etc. They also offer Korean and Chinese language classes, as well as ballet and TKD as optional. IRemnant emphasizes Christian-based learning, with worship time daily and Center times reiterating bible stories. - Food / well-being The hot Korean lunches are cooked daily by the sweetest ladies (who've had their own grandchildren attend IRemnant). It typically includes rice, soup, and three side dishes, all with well-rounded nutrition and diversity in mind (like rotating proteins of meat and tofu). Younger kids (infant, pre-toddler, toddler) gets porridge for morning snack, while older kids (2yo+) gets milk and cereal. Afternoon snack are usually one hot snack (sandwiches, quesadillas, etc.), a piece of fruit and milk. They will help feed the little ones, and by the time your kid is in preschool, they will practice feeding themselves, and older kids with open cups. - Extras Teachers go beyond the call of duty - we've had teachers who offered to cut my baby's bangs, organize clothes swaps, offer help in behavioral issues, all of their own volition. Many of the teachers have had their own children in iRemnant and care for the kids like their own. They often come early and stay late to set up fun activities like birthday parties, Christmas concert, Lunar New Year and Chuseok celebrations, etc. Rooms are cleaned daily and sanitized top to bottom when daycare diseases strike. Teachers know my kids better than I do sometimes, and tailors their care to the needs of each child. - Cons Not much here, but to be well-rounded, I'll include one. They pushed for a 1p nap even for the youngest class, so my then 7mos old struggled for a few months since she used to get up at 6am and that's a long wake window for an infant. She ended up catnapping 15min on the way to school (9am), then school 1-3p nap, and then transitioned to one-nap by the time she was 11mos. Some other preschools I think allowed a two-nap schedule (10-11:30, 3-4), but it wasn't at IRemnant - not sure if this is still the case now, as it was 2y ago for us. My daughter graduated kinder recently. She is doing great even after transitioning into public school setting. According to her 1st grade teacher, her reading level test score is at 3rd grade and she has a great attention span. Her math tests are all great. This school prepared my daughter academically successful. She also graduated with recognizing all Korean characteristics and being able to write them. She is having a great start at the public school with great self- confidence. The teachers are very loving and caring towards kids and parents. Our child has been attending iRemnant for a little over a year, and this is just our personal experience, but we've loved it there. We've only been in the infant and toddler side but all of her teachers have been stellar and caring and love on her like she was their own. We did a short stint at a larger chain daycare before we made it off the waitlist at iRemnant to enroll her here, and the difference was stark on so many fronts: cleanliness, engagement, structure, truly personal care, updates (so. many. PHOTOS!!), and even just standardizing her baby ADLs. She gets fed very well there (we're even jealous of her menu). On top of the pictures/updates we get on the daycare app, upon pick-up her teachers give us little summaries or tidbits on how she did that particular day. I ask A LOT of questions, and the teachers and admins are always happy (not just willing) to oblige. There is an actual curriculum. She's been really thriving: she'll exhibit some new knowledge or skill or word that we definitely don't remember teaching her ourselves, and we're just so impressed with her development which we accredit largely to her teachers. The facility also feels very secure and well-kempt. I know everyone's experience will be somewhat different, but for our part, we feel very lucky to have found a daycare we love and that our child is happy to go to (all smiles when she gets into class due to teachers who are genuinely excited for her arrival) and has classmates she adores. read more

My son has been at Iremnant since he was 18months old and now he's 5 and on his way to Kindergarten. I've seen him blossom from a clingy, shy, super reserved toddler into a more social, confident, and competent boy under the supervision of many of the teachers here. The teachers really take care about and care for the children and it is one of the main reasons I sent him to Iremnant initially when looking for daycare/preschools. Over the years, my son has built close relationships with his classmates and has become comfortable being himself in the school setting. My son is also a picky eater and he will eat a lot of the foods that are prepared for him at the school. It's always a big plus to know that you don't have to prepare their lunch everyday but you can trust that your kid is going to be fed a healthy meal. We've had a great experience with both our kids at iRemnant, it is a wonderful school with a nurturing environment. We've been part of this community for over 5 years and my son just graduated from the kindergarten program. I have appreciated so much all that the school offers, such as, all the loving teachers we've had the opportunity to get to know, Christian environment and values, thoughtful curriculum and fun activities, and amazing lunches cooked from scratch on-site (my son still talks about how great the food was, I can't compete!). My son was not only well cared for by the teachers, but also very well prepared for elementary school and now excelling academically being ahead in his class. My younger child has been attending iRemnant for the last year and loves going to school and often doesn't want to leave! When looking for school reviews for your child, I think it's a good idea to pay more attention to the parents who've been there for a longer period than those who had to judge too quickly. In my humble opinion, it takes time to really know what the school is about, and any school, organization, or person has days when they aren't at their best and of course may not have all the features that satisfies every parent's standard. I've been sending my child here for the past two years. Over other good things that I appreciated (such as the extra effort they put on curriculum and meals) what I felt most was their sincere heart for children, and this is what mattered most to me. I don't see them doing their job just as a business. At least from my observation, the school has a good vision and a truly caring mind for each child which is reflected in how they do their programs. Yes, there would definitely be room to improve and I honestly had a few moments when I thought certain things could be better. But I also think we have to remember that teachers are human too. Everyone has their limits and rainy days, but I'm assured that they do their best and they mean for the best in their capability. To list a few more facts about the school, the majority of students and teachers are Korean though the school is opened to everyone. The upper classes speak English with bilingual teachers while the younger classes may speak more Korean depending on the student. It's clear that they're a Christian school and have values based on the Bible. They seem to have a solid educational curriculum even when it's not required to prepare to that level as a preschool. The director believes in opening potentials for little children through education and experience (she may not impress you in an English presentation, but you'd see her heart over time if you keep communicating :D) Classrooms and the environment are very clean and well maintained. And just one more note about food which I'm still impressed. You can get a printed schedule of what meals and snacks are given each day (though it may not be updated on the website). They serve lots of Korean menu that looks well balanced in nutrition. I'd honestly want to send my child just for the lunch when we have to miss part of the day. My daughter has been going here since she was 18 months and just turned 3 at this school. Being my first kid, I was worried about a lot of things but the teachers have been so loving to my daughter and good at communicating with me that it would put me at ease while I'm at work during the day. My 18 month old (at the time) did not cry at all and was so eager to go to school and interact with her classmates and teachers which made me feel better about leaving her. I don't think there's any school that I would be 100% in love with but the good definitely outweighs the bad here. Their tuition includes healthy hot meals (not pizza and hot dogs) and snacks daily which is great for a full-time working mom with a commute. They incorporate organic, non-sugary foods in their menu. Their tuition also includes the extended hours compared to other daycares where you have to pay extra to come early or pick-up late. They use the Procare app to update parents throughout the day on how your child is doing - good at communicating and responding quickly for the most part. Their child to teacher ratio is smaller than other schools I've checked out, even private schools. I like how the school has extra curriculars (ballet and taekwondo) that you can pay for which my daughter looks forward to and it breaks up the weekly routine. But most importantly, I feel like my daughter is safe here and the teachers really care about her growth, overall development, and well-being. As a teacher and mom, when I was looking for a daycare for my then 8 month old baby girl, I wanted one that provided education and structure. One of the questions I always asked was, "Do you have a curriculum or daily lessons for the babies?" Most of the infant care facilities would just look at me, chuckle, and say that they do have lessons for the older children, but not for the babies. However, iRemnant met and exceeded my expectations. They provided a print out of the curriculum on a monthly basis that is broken down into weekly units that even the babies are being taught! This makes it so much easier for me to be able to extend my baby's learning from the classroom into our home! I knew exactly what songs were being sang to them and what numbers and letters were being introduced during that week. I am also super appreciative of the daily notes home! When my daughter was an infant, the notes were important because they would let me know how much and when she ate and pooped. They are also super helpful since I only speak English, I was able to communicate with teachers easier that way. The teachers were so great about telling me about what my daughter's learning or what activity she did on a daily basis, especially as she got older began to show an understanding of the activities and lessons. I could literally write pages and pages of information about how great iRemnant has been to me over the years (my daughter is now 3), but to sum it up, iRemnant's motto is: "iRemnant is your dream and hope" This is so fitting for them because they have really been a dream come true for our family; and they are everything and more of what our family could ever hope for in a daycare and preschool. IRemnant created a strong foundation for my child's love for Christ, healthy eating habits, and education. All of the children and their families at this school have always been so kind and generous, as well! We will be forever grateful for the love and care that iRemnant provided for my child for the last 3 years. Honest review: I have been sending my kids here for years and I have to say that it is overall a good place. Director Lydia is a really sweet person and seems to lead in love. She gets to the preschool extra early for the convenience of parents who need it and she seems to always be the last person out. Is she perfect? Of course not, but who is? As another person on Yelp mentioned that some of the teachers do not have love for the children, that is not a fair comment. There are extremely kind teachers here and some not as kind but why would you expect another person to be so kind to your child to your level of expectations? That is your job to love them that much. I teach my kids to love others and never hate anyone and so if there are some teachers here who are not so kind, that's a real-world lesson for my child that not everyone is going to love him as much as his parents and that's ok. Is this school perfect? no. Is this school expensive? Kind of. However, overall they put in a lot of effort to keep the kids learning and enjoying one another all year round. I also want to mention one thing: dropping off your child who does not want to stay. It is not a bad thing to leave in 'bad' terms. For me, tough love always worked. The times I drop him off while he cries, I just leave and let him deal with his emotions, and when I come to pick him up he does not want to leave because he wants to stay longer. *iRemnant did not request me to write on here. read more

Been sending my first son here since he was 18 months. He's really flourished here socially and intellectually. We are so confident in iRemnant that we are sending our 2nd son when he is 18 months. My first son is 3.5 years old now. Everyday he comes home and surprises us with new words or skills he's learned. It's been truly amazing to watch him grow and also make friends. Everyday he refuses to leave and wants to play with his buddies on the playground. Had to stay sometimes up to an hour cause he's having fun! Importantly, the food they serve is home cooked and natural (veggies, fruit, rice with chicken, beef, etc). Mostly Korean food. They post pictures of their meals on their website if interested. As a kid from the 80s and 90s, I grew up on pizza, fries, and processed foods at school. There's no way to quantify the damage those foods can do to one's health but all I can say is iRemnant's food is far, far healthier. All of my son's teachers have been phenomenal. Sending us pics everyday. Giving us a rundown of how he did at pickup. It's really clear they are so patient and gentle with all the kids. It's not easy being in charge of toddlers, and they deserve all the credit for doing an excellent job. read more

We have been sending our daughter to iRemnant since she was seven months old and have never regretted our decision. Since we have no family nearby, it was extremely important to find a daycare that we could really trust. After conducting our due diligence, we decided on iRemnant due to the professionalism of faculty, cleanliness, food and meal preparation, and attention to detail. We feel so blessed to have found this daycare!! The teachers are very informative and frequently take pictures of her to send to us during the day so we don't miss important moments. They keep us apprised of her progress in terms of physical and cognitive developments and other small details such as what she likes to play with or what she likes to eat. Iremnant has exceeded all my expectations. I knew early on when my 3.5 year old son was able to effectively transition to Iremnant from his prior school within 2 days. My son initially attended one of those Korean day cares but I wanted more than just a home -like environment. I wanted a stronger academic curriculum centered around faith with a nurturing environment. I appreciate that my his classroom has two teachers (1 English speaking and the other Korean). It's an added bonus that my son is bilingual! Overall, my son absolutely loves his teachers, the organic hot lunches/ snacks, and the fun-filled activities! As a parent, I love the daily behavioral reports, weekly pictures, communication between the teachers, and simply the assurance that my son is happy & thriving academically, socially, and spiritually. read more

I actually took them out couple month ago due to family emergency. But I had to let other people know my experience in this school. Omg thinking of this school again makes my stomach sick.i remember getting chased by wonjang "who doesn't own the place but is still called owner. Okay -_- saying I need to pay next month tuition "two week of pay" Excuse me? I'm not even finishing this month bc we have to go which was already paid in full. I just thought I was going to lose that money, but instead She literally followed me with her calculator on one hand to my car telling my kids to stay WTF This crazy WOMEN. Let me tell you. I don't owe you $hit! I've paid enough for your stupid BS I've fallen into. We had to pay so much BS crap on top of tuition which is not cheap at all. You have to provide your kids with EVERYTHING. This place looks somewhat decent where you can trust your kids but BE AWARE!!! Teachers have two faces and they DO NOT care about your child or family situation what so ever. Acting like family oriented get your fake A$$ out of there. This place has so much negativity with bullying little kids and teachers not giving a fuck. My 4 year old would come home and tell me that the Teachers always being mean to her. I learned my lesson. If your kids say something always believe them. I can't even believe I even sent my 20 month little baby there since she was an infant. I sent them to this school for good year or so and even introduced my friend here which of course she left and thinks this school is whack. My 4year old didn't learn $hittt attending this school. Most of the teacher in the infant area seemed friendly but Unfortunately, kindness doesn't cut it if your kids are not happy. You can tell the teachers don't want to do their job. Very short staffed with too many little toddlers and infants, I mean if you get call from the teacher at least 3-4times a week bc something is wrong with your child. Starts with eye infection that she prolly got from another baby and BAD "diaper rash" where she's bleeding. YES it was SO BAD I had to go to ER. WTF. They use like those plastic hand gloves the once that's very rough on your skin that sticks if you try putting rash cream on. BET they barely change their diapers. YET they always needs diaper and wipes hmm-_- PLUS My baby is always crying,hungry,thirsty, in some kids of pain ALL the time. I just thought it'll get better one day. But NO it was constant repeat. This place is dirty, non professional, mean and cruel two faces teachers. Sure they look nice, Christian, family oriented. NOPE!!! Don't FALL for it. Your kids will not get anything from this school at ALL. I'm just so glad I got them out. My kids very happy and actually learning a lot more ever since they're out of this DAHM school. I've been sending my 3 year old son here for more than half of his life! I don't know how I would survive through my busy work schedule and still keep a sane mind without iRemnant! Here is why we feel so blessed iRemnant is a big part of his life: 1) Meals - As a parent with an underweight child, meal time is constantly my greatest concern. With that said, iRemnant has THE MOST AMAZING menu planned for their students. They make a tremendous effort to balance nutrition and to use organic ingredients for their students ! I was told by an insider that the kitchen staff would refuse to cook if otherwise ;). iRemnant provides two sets of menu each month: one designed for the infant/toddler class and one for the preschool. My son started with the infant/toddler class so he is accustomed to the schools menu and a wide variety of vegetables. Thanks to iRemnant no picky eaters here! 2) Teachers - The teachers here are THE MOST CARING AND SINCERE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD! Sometimes I feel they know my son more than I do! When dropping off my son, he would run into his class and hug the teachers! We share parenting concerns and I get daily feedbacks from the teachers in his daily log. The artwork that they do with the kids are so fun and creative. Honestly, for a 2-3 year old, I do not expect anything in terms of academics but I was surprised at age 2.5yrs my son knew how to write some letters of the alphabet on his own! They genuinely care about their students' future and truly believe in building a strong fundamental foundation in children development. 3) Environment - I love that this school is at a location convenient enough to drop off and pick up but is also away from the big, busy streets. The main building and playground is hidden behind the True Love Church and offers a safe and controlled environment for the kids to run around. The hallways and classrooms are designed to encourage creativity and learning, full of books, toys, and children artwork. Oh and did I mention CLEAN?! Enough said when you send your boy to school with white socks and he comes home with clean, white socks! 4) Tuition - Tuition is pretty standard for preschools in this neighborhood EXCEPT there are no extra fees for early dropoffs or late pickups, breakfast/snack, and certain extracurricular activities while most schools in this area do. For example, my son's class offers Chinese class and Froebel Gabe learning (I had to look up what that was) built into the curriculum with no extra charge. FYI, although school is open from 8am-6pm, students like my son can be dropped off earlier and picked up later with enough supervision. At most, parents should at least make an appt and visit the school. I guarantee you will be impressed. read more

We enrolled our 11 month old daughter into the IRemnant toddler/infant daycare and she has been there for about two months now. We love this daycare! It is hard enough to make the decision of leaving your baby to the care of strangers, but IRemnant makes the transition worry and stress free for the parents. Organic -- Our biggest concern was finding a daycare that served only organic, healthy foods to the kids! None of that corn syrupy, GMO, chemical stuff!! What is amazing about IRemnant is that they have a detailed menu of what they give the children that you can take home so that you know exactly what is going into their precious little bodies! All of this is included in the tuition. Detailed booklet / Updates -- It is personally important to keep my baby on a pretty consistent schedule so that she is happier in the long run. IRemnant has a detailed booklet you can take home and bring on a daily basis with each child's schedule and what he/she accomplished that day. It helps me still feel a part of her day when I'm away from her. I know exactly when and how long she slept, what she ate, etcetera. I love this! Flexibility -- I love that the teachers and director are flexible and understanding about our schedule. You should know that in the contract they do not accept "make up days" should your child miss a day because of illness or personal reason... that is a bit of a disadvantage, but if you give them 2 weeks notice, you can have a pretty flexible schedule with which days you'd need childcare for. Spiritual growth -- It's comforting to know that they have worship every morning and that my baby is immersed in prayerful child rearing :) Facilities -- CLEAN and spacious compared to a lot of daycares I've visited! They make sure to keep everything tidy. Each child has their own cubby and their belongings. They also have an outdoor area for the kids to play. I always see them outside having a good time!! The parents are asked to provide their child's change of clothes, cups/bottles, diapers, wipes, and creams/medications. In the long run I think I prefer this because as a parent, I want to make sure she's using what I've approved to be safe for her. Also, consistency! Pricing is around $800 / month for 3 days / week and fluctuates depending on your child's age. The younger, the more expensive. But I would say expect a price range of about $1000/month for a full week. Hours are between 8:00 am - 6 pm for drop off and pick up. read more

#1 Best Daycare/Preschool in all of Orange County!!! I've been sending my son ever since he was just 8 months old and he is now two years old. We even held his first "DOL" birthday party (along with his recent second birthday party) here because it's his "home away from home" and really made a special mark in his early stage of life. The teachers are very caring and attentive to each child, especially when my son was sick with constant cold or fever. I felt really secure knowing that my son was in the best care with the best professionals. The food that is served each day is all organic and abundant. Although my son is on the smaller side for his age, he seems to eat the most compared to his current classmates that are older than him. I can see on his daily report that he really enjoys his food every single day along with healthy snacks that are given throughout the mornings and afternoons. Their onsite kitchen staff cooks each meal using the healthiest ingredients and the parents receive monthly menu plans for a sneak peek. The menu actually motivates me to cook more at home. :) Their Christian-based education system is simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Each child's development is carefully assessed by the teacher (4 kids to 1 teacher ratio by the way) and depending on the needs of the child, they will make the decision to either advance the child into the older class or keep him/her longer until he/she is ready. In my son's case, he was able to advance early into the older class and he now participates in all of the daily activities (each child makes a portfolio of artwork and learning lessons) that he loves. He also loves to sing and pray, which is so precious! Aside from everything, the most important key factor that played into our decision of enrolling our son was the safety aspect. Unlike the typical daycare/preschool that is visible from the major streets, IRemnant is in the heart of a residential area that is safely guarded from the busy street of Orangethorpe Avenue. Also, the actual facility is tucked away even further into the back side of the huge parking lot, which is gated all around with surveillance cameras. Each of the classroom is equipped with surveillance camera as well. Final thoughts... Anyone who visits IRemnant will realize that there is no other place like it. It is truly a blessing that we found this place for our son, who has grown remarkably by the hands of people that love him like their own child. Selecting the place where your beloved child will be spending most of the day can be a pretty huge decision - especially when they're younger (under 3 years old) and it's the most critical time for your baby's development. My wife and I both work so we had to find the best one for our little boy and we searched far and wide... but couldn't find a more suitable one than iRemnant because of a few reasons: 1. The teachers and staff are genuinely passionate about raising babies/kids in the best way possible. I can sense that they really care and love these little ones and are looking out for their best interest and not just doing it as a "job". 2. The nutrition is top-notch - few things are more important than nutrition when they're growing up and this place knows how to feed these kids. The menus are high quality and in variety - heard our boy gulps down on these meals because it taste good as well. 3. The teachers give you (parents) constant feedback about how your baby is developing and every 3 months give you a "progress report" of some sort that monitors how well your baby is developing compared to his age. Needless to say, it's immensely helpful to get this kind of information. 4. Safe - They have a lot of staff on site that constantly watches over these little ones while they're on the playground or in classrooms. 5. Our boy was at the new infant/toddler building which is wonderful and is full of loving, fun teachers (haven't been to the other building yet so can't comment but I'm sure it's equally high quality also) - Ms. Karen, Elly, Catalina, Hannah - they're all pretty awesome. I can not say enough great things about this school. My son is 4.5 and this is 5th the preschool I've put him in since he started a little before he turned 3. The excessive school switching was partly due to a move last year, but mostly a manifestation of my neurosis to find a school for him that met my expectations. While I realize the frequent switching was probably not the easiest on him, I was determined to find a school i was satisfied with and felt good about sending my child to. I tried a couple of other church preschools, a more established Christian School that went up through Junior High, and a nearby Montessori. All of them left me feeling like something was lacking. I was initially hesitant about sending him to a Korean preschool and was trying to avoid them when I first started looking. Although my husband and I are both Korean, my Korean is basic conversational at best and I was nervous about being able to communicate with the teachers. After trying so many other schools however, I decided to give it shot and I am so glad i did. My husband, who knows my trepidation for largely Korean speaking environments, was shocked that I chose this school.There are quite a few larger more well known Korean preschools in the area as well, but something about this school made me feel at home. That being said, there are a few non-Korean families at the school and while speaking the language is convenient it is not at all necessary as i still communicate in English a lot of the time. The positives for this school are honestly too numerous to count, but here are a few at the top of my list. 1) Daily Communication. Every day, they have a book they bring home and the teacher marks how they did during various activities (circle time, worship, lunch, nap, etc). They also write notes about anything interesting the kids did during the day, or if there were any incidents at school, and include announcements for upcoming events or things to remember. I am a HUGE fan of daily logs. I work long hours and like to know how my child has been doing during the day. I have had a full time nanny since my son was 4 months old, and still have one for my second child. She also keeps daily logs and it helps me feel like I was a part of their day even though I can't be physically present. Also, since I am already at work for drop-off time for school, i use the book to leave any notes or questions for the teacher that I might have. Part of the reason I didn't like his last school was I had no idea what he did all day. I knew he was learning and having fun, but l wanted to know more. 2) Food. This is the first school that I've sent my son to that serves lunch and snacks. This in and of itself is AMAZING. The food is much more nutritious than the sandwiches and cheese i was packing, It's hot and organic and my son also loves korean food, kimchi in particular, so this is definitely a huge plus. 3) Teachers. All of the teachers at the school, even those from other classes know who my son is. It's nice to have a family atmosphere, especially when your kids are still young and have plenty of time for more formal schooling. I love my son's teachers Miss Judy and Miss Mimi. They show a true investment and love for their students, they know their personalities, they know their strengths and their weaknesses. They have much more patience for him than I ever could! I feel like they genuinely like him, and that's really the most important thing to me in some ways. When my son is not in my care, i want him to be with someone who has his best interests at heart. 4) Extra curriculars - The school offers Taekwondo and Ballet during school hours for an additional fee - less than you would pay sending your child to a class elsewhere. As a full-time mom who already struggles to juggle the couple activities I'm able to take him to after work, this is a HUGE plus. They also teach Korean and Chinese. Although my own Korean is lacking, my husband is pretty fluent and my parents-in-law definitely have a hard time with English. I was planning on putting him Korean school eventually but he is learning more Korean than i could have ever taught him just by playing with his friends here. He's literally speaking in sentences now and is so interested in learning the language it's really exciting. I'm doing my best to use Korean at home as much as I can in hopes that he will retain at least a bit of what he's learning as he ages. So, would I recommend this school? Without a doubt. A friend of mine recently started sending her son here as well and they both love it. Life is all about balance, something I think this school offers in spades. Time to play, time to work, time to worship, time to learn new things, I will be forever grateful that I found this school and can't wait to send my second! read more

My daughter was here from 12 months to 18 months. The school seems great on the exterior - classrooms look clean, teachers seem very caring and the classes seem very structured. This is not the case. My daughter was at an in-home daycare prior to coming here (from 8 months to 12 months) and she would get colds here and there. But ever since she started coming to iRemnant, she had a nonstop runny nose and cough (both wet and dry). Pediatricians (I saw 2 to get a second opinion) kept telling me she's just getting new colds. I even had my daughter's blood drawn for an allergy test because I was concerned about the fact that she had been coughing every day for 6 months straight. Tests showed that she is VERY slightly allergic to cow milk and egg whites, but 2 pediatricians confirmed that the allergies were so slight that it wouldn't affect my daughter. They were right - I took cow milk & eggs out of her diet; didn't do anything. So I changed schools - my daughter is now at a Montessori and has been there for about 6 weeks. 2 weeks into her starting her new school, all of her cold symptoms went away. I expressed my concern to the iRemnant teachers that my daughter was sick all the time and they kept telling me it was just my daughter and that none of the other kids were getting sick. Funny because my friend's daughter was in the same class as my kid and she had frequent colds too. Both of our daughters have also experienced SEVERE diaper rashes at this school, to which the school responds dismissively, "We changed their diapers very frequently. There was no bowel movement, but somehow they got diaper rashes." That seems pretty impossible to me. My daughter sleeps in one diaper all night long, doesn't poop but pees a lot and wakes up with no diaper rash, so how is it possible that my daughter gets a very severe diaper rash when she hasn't pooped and they've changed her diapers every 2 hours? Doesn't make sense to me. Not sure how the diaper rash happened, but if they were at least straight up with me about what happened I would be more understanding. Instead they tried to deflect the blame; one time they had the nerve to tell me she already had a diaper rash - UH, NO. I would have noticed that when I changed my kid's diaper in the morning. My daughter was in the infant class. For some reason, all the kids (excluding the older ones that go to school in the other building) get dropped off in the infant class in the mornings. That means tons of foot traffic in the infant class - lots of kids touching toys, lots of kids stepping on the floors everywhere. Yes, they take off their shoes, but I don't think they clean the place very well. I think they declutter the classrooms, but I don't think they actually clean anything down or sanitize anything. I've never seen them wash my daughter's hands - only with water. I really think the unsanitary conditions were the culprit of my daughter's 6 month long cough/cold. To top it off, my daughter basically learned nothing from here. I get it, she was young and I don't expect the school to teach her multiplication or anything, but I do expect her to learn basic social skills and basic motor skills. The teachers will immediately give the kids whatever they are whining for just to get them to stop crying. This meant that at home my daughter thought if she whines for something, she will get it. They also didn't let my daughter use any utensils during meal times - they would spoon-feed her so she was very behind on learning to feed herself. When my daughter finished her 1st month at her new school (the Montessori), she has learned to stop whining, she feeds herself with utensils, she COUNTS TO FIVE (I can't believe this!), and so much more. I decided to give iRemnant an extra star just because I really do like teacher. She is awesome - she would listen to my concerns and address and respond to them in a manner that made me feel very good about the school. If all the teachers were like her, I think the school would thrive. But unfortunately, she is only 1 person. read more

My wife and I are so happy that we were able to find this daycare/preschool. We were already on the waiting list at a few preschools in Orange County for over a year, but none had any vacancies. One of the biggest pluses of this daycare is that they are willing to accept children under 2, and they even take care of diapering as part of the regular tuition. For those parents out there who have been in the market for a daycare, you should already know what a gem of a find this is. Most places charge an extra $250-500 for that and that's in the very rare instances that they do offer that. They offer warm meals and they have themed activities to teach the children about both Korean and American traditions. For instance, they had a grandparents day during Chusok (this is the same day as Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival Day) where grandparents were invited to open house. Since my child is half Korean, I felt this aspect is really important to teach the children cornerstones of the culture. At the end of each month they also send back all the crafts/activities that your child made during that month. But beyond all that, I must say that the entire staff is excellent. From the very first time we met the director, to our interactions with the teaching staff, I must say they are very warm and caring for our child and always responsive when we have questions. I must admit I was a little worried because I'm a primary English speaker, but the teachers have all been great. Usually daycare staff only contact you when there is an issue/injury of your child, but I'm happy to report that this isn't the case here. We have so many photos that one of the teachers (Karen) has sent to us. It is really hard to be dual income parents, and have to drop your child off somewhere for 8 hours a day. But seeing pictures of our child here and there makes us feel better and puts us more at ease. My child's main teacher Catalina is always so friendly and willing to answer my questions about my child when I come to pick up. Overall, I am very pleased and look forward to my child enjoying the warm, inviting environment they have built here. Keep up the good work! read more
