I have loved my nails the last two times I've been in. Zee has taken care of me both times I have been in. The first time I walked right in and had a great experience with a gel pedicure, and a dip manicure. The second time I was able to make an appointment and also had a great experience. I get dip nails and I love that she does not completely file them away with a drill, but takes the time to soak off the extra product before giving me a full new set. DO NOT GO HERE! Spoke with receptionist who was friendly and spoke English, then felt rushed to choose a color before she put me in front of another person who did not speak much English, clearly did not want to be there, resented having to do this work, and took it out on my toes. She dug her fingernails into my feet (with no gloves on) to hold them still while very roughly using tools I said I did not want, glared at me while ignoring my spontaneous cries of pain, and just made it a thoroughly horrible, painful, and UNrelaxing experience. After paying an exorbitant charge (even with NO tip) I just went to the car and cried from the physical discomfort and nerve pain that I had not expected nor prepared for - then I noticed that she had been so aggressive with the emory board that she had actually chipped OFF some of this expensive nail polish and there are small areas where the edges of nails are no longer covered. The jangled nerve endings in my feet impacted my entire body for the rest of the day, plus I felt so angry with myself for not just getting up and leaving half way through. I keep reminding myself to pray for this young person and whatever is going on in her life. But I definitely wish I had not gone there! read more

Told them services my great granddaughter and I had they had the receptionist start my great granddaughter s pedicure was she licensed pretty soon I told them what pedicure we wanted the whole scene changed a new person did my great granddaughters toes... and same on mine it wasn't a good pedicure I'm 73 years old and have had pedicures In maui Hawaii that were unbelievable when your heels have calluses and they don't scrub or use topicals thst work... then they did a artificial nails on my great granddaughter never did her cuticles when you pay for full service you want it I so we my 110.00 got pedicures and my great granddaughter her aunt and hod mother paid for her nails we had 5 people there and I can tell you two other ladies totally agreed with this analogy read more

This is an updated review. Initially my experience was pretty good. I really enjoyed how my nails turned out. However, my nails are lifting now even two weeks after paying $75 for a full set of powder dip with tips and an ombré effect. I am so upset. I don't think I'll be going back to this place. We had an appointment for pedicures and despite making an appointment waited over 20 minutes for them to get started. The water was cold. She literally scratched my legs during the massage. My old nail polish wasn't all the way removed and some of my toenails were only half painted. They were busy and rushed and it shows. I took my two teenage granddaughters here when I couldn't get into our regular place. It was terrible. One girl got a set of acrylics for prom and the two hands didn't even match! She didn't tell me about it until we were out the door. I wouldn't have paid the bill if she had told me. The other granddaughter told me the two nail technicians kept telling them in a crabby voice to hold their hands still. These girls have never gotten told that before at other salons. The technician who did the acrylics also took forever. Lack of training I'd say. And, it's expensive. read more

Visited for the first time and found the establishment to be fine. When I sat down with the tech I explained that I was a first time visitor and wanted only a basic gel manicure in order to assess before getting fancier services. Boy am I glad I did that!! This was a terrible manicure! The tech left huge gaps between my cuticles and the polish such that some nails looked as though they had grown out a week or more. Some nails had large gaps on the sides as well which snagged my hair terribly in the shower. The day after the manicure I contacted the owner and sent pictures. She stated their work is guaranteed and that I could come back in. I have since tried twice now to get into the facility (contacting first) and, of course, there are no times available except for the super inconvenient times. Never mind they could get me in immediately on my first visit, but for following through on the promise of guaranteed work there just isn't convenient times. Ugh. I finally removed the polish on my own (it simply peeled off so it was easy). Needless to say I won't go back, not even for a free manicure to fix the terrible one that I paid for. Although I no longer get my nails done, this was always my favorite place! I always got acrylic nails, living out of state in a small town- my options were limited and therefore service wasn't great. When I moved to the area I tries a few places with little success, finally I found d Iris Nails! I walked in and immediately saw how clean it was. They informed me about their dip nails and my nails were forever changed, vitamins for your nails?? And it felt better than acrylic, my nails felt great! I continued going here for about a year, even getting my wedding nails done here. Service was great and they always remembered me and made me feel special, all workers are super sweet. After my wedding, I decided to truly heal my nails and save some money, so I stopped getting them done (for now) but I'll be back soon! read more

After my second visit, I was as impressed as I was with my first! The staff is always very courteous and they do a wonderful job! Today I had a mani and pedi done - I was able to walk-in with out an appointment and they were able to get me in right away. Long was the person who helped me and he was very polite and attentive! i wish i could give it 0 stars. i walked in with no wait and it took the lady 2 hours to do my nails which would be fine if they looked good but they don't. first of all she was rude and extremely aggressive with the tools even after i said "ow" and asked her to be more gentle. i asked her if we could soak my nails instead of them using the fake nail piece to pry them off and she said "no" because it would take too long even though NO ONE ELSE WAS THERE. my nails are crooked and wide and the polish is uneven even after i corrected her a couple of times and asked her to shape them better and pointed out the spots she had missed. would not recommend this place at all. such a waste of $49. read more

The staff is extremely friendly but I will never go back. The woman charged me $50 for a gel fill..she kept giving me hidden fees on the most ridiculous things. On top of that, my nails were done piss-poorly and started peeling a week and a half later. I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted and the finished product did not look like the photo I showed her. Not pleased at all. The man who did my friends nails was also very friendly but did an even worse job on her nails. Every nail of hers was completely crooked. First time here had Groupon, made appointment and not enough employees to handle the business. They made too many appointments at the same time and had walk ins before our appointments. If they want to keep my business this has to change quickly. I am so far unimpressed. It is 10 minutes past my appointment time and they took others back first. Why make an appointment if they cannot take you at your time. I ended up walking out without receiving services. The man did not approach me to say they are running late or offer apologies until I had my coat on and was opening the door. Then he Sai why you leaving? Today was my first time here with a friend. We had a Groupon and decided to check it out. I made us an appointment for 2:30, earlier in the morning. We arrive on time and state we had a 2:30 appointment. The place was pretty busy and the man who greeted us gave us a overwhelmed blank stare when we said we were there for our appointment. We proceed to pick out our colors and sit down. About 5 minutes after we had sat down, the man came up to us, asked us again what time our appointment was for and then said they would be within us in a little bit. By now, it was about 2:45 and I was getting a bit antsy. Another 5 minutes passes and we finally start with our pedicures. My friend got a regular pedi and I got the deluxe pedi. The pedi's were good, but my friend thought they could spend a little longer scrubbing your feet. My deluxe pedi came with a few extra scrubs that they use in your legs. I thought it was nice that a regular pedi included a hot stone massage! We both got mani's too; my friend got a regular and I got a shellac. Both mani's turned out very nice. All in all they did a great job; I was a little put off by having to wait, even when I had an appointment , but I understand things happen. The prices in general were slightly more expensive then the other places I've been, but I was happy with my mani/pedi. I would come back again, but most likely with a Groupon. read more

Very unhappy. My two daughters went in for full sets of acrylic nails. They look terrible. The acrylic is thick and bumpy in some spots and too thin in other areas. Clearly they were not concerned about making repeat customers out of us. One week after having them done one daughter chipped two nails and the others are so far up the nail they look like they were done a month ago. I have been to Iris three times now. The first time I was just to remove a gel pedicure (from another salon) that had been on way too long. I decided to book another appointment (for 10% off) for a regular pedi and a "dip" mani, which I'd never done before. The gentleman who did my manicure was a bit noncommittal on how long the manicure would last but eventually said "about two weeks". I was in on a Wednesday, and by Monday I had the first chip. After that, every nail on my right hand chipped over the course of the week. I was kinda pissed, but I couldn't get in the rest of the week and then went out of town. Since the nail tech was noncommittal about how long it would last I figured I was just going to eat it. So I finally went in today (just short of 2 weeks after the manicure) with the intent of asking them to simply remove the polish. When Tiana, one of the partners, saw my hands, she insisted on doing the whole thing over, on the house, saying she stands by her product and guarantees her work. She asked if I typed a lot at my job (yep, and apparently aggressively) and said she'd thicken it a bit to prevent that in the future. While I'm not totally sold on the dip manicure concept (we'll see how this round goes), Tiana was so gracious and kind and I saw her call every single customer who walked in by name.
