I got a pedicure at Victoria's. I don't get my nails done often so when I do it's meant to be a relaxing treat. From the moment I walked in the vibe was strange. The employees felt apathetic and unkind. Upon walking in one employee scolded another employee for the way they interacted with me (which wasn't a bad interaction. They simply greeted me and asked me to wash my hands). If I didn't have an appointment I would have walked out. I struggled on this visit and this was my first!! This place is situated in a strip mall. Decent and clean place. I was scheduled with Mike, unfortunately he was with another client when I arrived, (a few minutes early) I could tell there was an issue with scheduling. I sit for a moment and then ask when will I be seen. Thao responds that anybody can do what I want as I shared a photo. I sit with Angel for about 30 mins, as she prepped my nails for acrylic. Then she hands me off to Mike. Mike performs the fill and begins to paint, suddenly he is whisked away and Thao finishes me up!! Sounds like musical chairs ehhh??? I was here for a little over 2 hours and although my design was pretty nice, I didn't appreciate being bounced around. This place is a nice distance from my house, but if I can get the quality and "better" service I will certainly be back!! read more

Another fantastic experience among many here! Today I had Selena, she hand-designed the little mushrooms on my nails and she literally created me a new toenail out of powder. I had a full set previously to cover bruising under my nail, and was finally able to clip the last portion that was discolored to bring them back. She offered to lengthen them and I agreed, then watched in disbelief as she (without a nail extension or glue) fabricated the tip of my big toes. Incredible massage and care on top of that. 4 stars because yes my nails look great & still look great after a week. I can't remember his name who helped me but I asked for ombre and he didn't know how to do it. I feel like all nail artists should know how to do a simple ombré. Also, they only had gel black as the powder black was more of a grey. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and actually engaged with clients which I like to see. I was disappointed that I paid the same as I would have at my old salon but did not get hot stone or any extras for my pedicure. Overall paid $165 for full set and pedicure before tip. Pedicure could've been better but they look pretty. I might go back, I might not depending on how much research I want to do. I don't live in the area but this is genuinely one of the best nail places I've been to. The workers are so sweet and make great conversation! They also accommodated for my last-minute appointment change, and although I had to wait a little bit, they were so apologetic. I got a full set French acrylic + a pedicure with regular polish, and I am so satisfied with the results. Andy (I hope I remembered his name right) did an excellent job and gave great advice, while making my nails look almost exactly like the picture I showed him. The price is also AMAZING. I had an appointment at 4:30 and was seated at a pedicure chair and wasn't spoken to for the next 20 minutes. The girl who did my toe nails didn't cover my entire nails and gave me gel when I did not ask for it. I also got a full set done and it turned out horrible. The nails are incredibly thick, are crooked, and really horrible. Also again got gel polish when I didn't ask for it. I asked for my nails to be a matte finish and was ignored. And what I wanted was NOTHING like I received. $100 later I will never be going back here! Also happened to go on a Friday afternoon and it seemed like girls there for prom were given much more priority and care than me. I got a basic manicure with O.P.I. Shine. Three of my nails started chipping the SAME night. Three nails chipping and 4 nails started fading from the tips by day 2. I get my nails done often and do my nails at home often as well. There was no massage or lotion what so ever. (This is ALWAYS included in basic manicure) After she was done I left with DRY cuticles and dry hands. The beds of my nails look messy. The polish doesn't run along the bed of my nails. The polish at the bed of my nails is square and squiggly instead of round and smooth like how it should be. She also kept trying to convince me to do Gel which was really annoying. When booking an appointment, book with a specific technician because not all of them are the same.They got really busy within the 10 minutes of opening. Unhappy, I voiced to the nail technician that it was blotchy and nothing like the picture I showed her. This was my first time here. I took my daughter here as a birthday treat. The atmosphere was great and the woman doing my nails was fantastic! However, the gentleman doing my daughters nails was not. He was very quick, never spoke with her to check on how she was doing, etc....He wasn't even watching what he was doing. Called the day of for a gel manicure appointment. My appointment was scheduled for 2:30. I arrived early at about 2:18. I was greeted right away when I entered. I was able to pick from quite a few options of gel colors. I selected a slightly gray/purple color. Like most, I try to choose darker colors in the winter and lighter in the summer. Now at about 2:42 I asked about the status of my appointment. (Yelp family I'm very picky about things starting on time) I was told that I would be able to get started in "a minute". I waited for about 5 more minutes and my appointment started. The nail tech was friendly and inquired about my satisfaction of the service. I went here for a couple months and my nails were average but the location and price was great for me so I kept going. Nails would crack pretty quickly after the service which is not typical for me. The reason for my lower review though is really due to showing up after making an appointment only to have to wait almost an hour. It was my lunch break so this was very inconvenient for me. The owner said it was because her employee hadn't come back from lunch, yet she seated multiple people before me so the lack of 1 employee causing this long of a delay didn't make sense. There shouldn't be multiple appointments running behind because 1 employee is 30 min late from lunch. Also, not my fault if they have bad employees-hire better. After this, the nail tech removed one of my nails (one he did the prior appointment that broke the next day) and he had the audacity to charge me for a nail fix. You know what, I gave this place a second try after having a bad experience a couple of years ago and nothing has changed. I came in at 6pm and put myself on the waiting list for 2 pedicures (me and my sister) and then we come back an hour later, get seated, and wait another 20 min soaking our feet in the water until someone comes to do our pedicures. The older Vietnamese lady who started to cut my cuticles really acted like she had better places to be at that moment. Did a horrible job cutting my cuticles and an even WORSE job at doing my GEL POLISH NAILS. I exaggerate this because it's more expensive than regular polish. She didn't even paint the whole nail, I complained and asked her to re-do it. The nail polish just kept getting chunkier and chunkier and I told her forget it I don't even want it anymore because you guys are just screwing it up even further. Anyway, I believe it's really which nail tech you get but don't be afraid to voice your opinions!! It's your money you're spending and you want it to look nice!!!! I visited this nail shop as a first time customer and I was very impressed with how my nails turned out. My nail technician, Maui (sorry if I misspelled the name) was fantastic! She took her time and my nails were gorgeous. One thing that I didn't like was that the 'main' nail tech (not sure of her name) kept asking Maui if she was almost done. Giving me the impression that they wanted Maui to rush and there was nobody waiting in the waiting area.
