I'm 82. After ordering my new lenses at the Waddington location on Nov. 20th I asked that they please be sent to Ladysmith for pick up. They aggreed. As the Post Office was on strike I had to wait until Dec 17th when it was over. When I didn't get them before Christmas I called FYI. It is now Jan 4th, I have called Nanaimo once and Ladysmith twice and after being told each time they will be shipped right away, they have still not been mailed.

Showed up for my appointment, paid $230, then an hour and a half into the appointment Dr. Olijnyk tells me that he can not in fact give me a prescription for hard contact lens. I asked him why I had just driven an hour to see him and paid $230 if he could not provide the service I was told he could provide. He gave me a rather weak, "Yeah, I could probably be better at communicating." What he should have offered is a refund since I was lied to and never would have gone to this place if they had been honest and accurate on the phone. So in the end I wasted half my day and $230 and received no contact lens prescription. Criminal.
