What a lovely wine bar + bottle shop in beautiful Tiburon! Very stylish and swanky inside with plush oversized chairs. The owner, Linda, has curated a nice selection of wine by the bottle and glass. We enjoyed a vermentino and marzemino (indigenous red grape from NE Italy) on one of the outdoor tables. Perfect way to spend part of a Saturday afternoon!

Yay. Our wine trip wasn't quite over...one last stop recommended to us by one of the best winemakers ever!!!! The selection of wines was amazing and fun! Lots of wines available for tasting by the glass! We left with a couple of bottles, even though we surely didn't need any!

Who says you have to cross the bridge to SF to have a 5-star meal? I was fortunate enough to attend a pop-up dinner @ Tiburon Wine last week. This month's star chef was none other than Gabe Charpentier from Bungalow 44 in Mill Valley. In previous months, Tib Wine has hosted other notable chefs (Ron Siegel, Gordon Drysdale, Todd Shoberg, Scott Howard, to name a few). But this was my first pop-up experience and boy oh boy... it did not disappoint. Guests were treated to an exquisite 5-course tasting menu. Each course was paired with a perfect wine (everything from Champagne to Cabernet Sauvignon to Moscato). The food was fantastic. And the wine pours were extremely generous. My favorite dishes of the evening were the Cauliflower Soup and the Coffee-Rubbed Rib-Eye of Beef with spring peas & onions, and saffron potatoes. I'm normally not one to have a sweet tooth, but the Lemongrass Custard with pineapple, coconut, and Thai Basil was an absolute joy-gasm. Each dish was beautifully presented (check out the photos I posted). The whole dinner with wine pairings + tax & gratuity was $150. So if you're a savvy Bay Area diner, you know that this meal was a steal. And if that wasn't enough, all guests could then purchase wine from the store at a discount. Talk about a win-win! Can't wait to see who pops up in the kitchen for the next dinner!

    On every table. Nice touch.

Good wine is a good thing. And Jerry knows good wine. The decades that Jerry has been in the wine business have taught him a thing or two. And that vastness of knowledge has successfully been manifested in Tiburon Wine. A first rate, artfully curated selection of vinos to wet your wine loving whistle. The collection covers the right wall, while the seating lines the left wall. It's small & intimate. There is zero pretension. Jerry is more musician in demeanor than he is "conventional" wine aficionado. The focus isn't on what or how much you know about wine. The focus is on what you personally appreciate. Just let the man know what your usual preferences are, & he goes to work on hooking you up w something you'll love. I was impressed by how he seemingly welcomes the challenge of introducing you to something that you'll fall for. I told him a couple of Pinots I've had recently that I really liked, & he had me taste 3, w the 3rd one totally nailing it. At only 35 bucks a bottle, it was affordable too. Win win. Clearly passionate, his enthusiasm is refreshing & contagious. Good wine should be available at every price point. And at Tiburon Wine, it is. 5 stars.

What a treat…read more.. Hadn't been to the location since it was Guaymas - what a transition. Same beautiful views, upscale interior that goes with the casual like atmosphere. Outside seating was relaxing and the views complimented the evening. Nice to see staff members with smiles on their faces, don't always see that at a restaurant! Fharid was the server, ever attentive, but just enough! What's important...the food! Romaine Caesar Salad - just enough of the flavorful dressing to compliment the salad. Roasted Half Chicken - tender and absolutely delicious. Portions were very filling. A wonderful homemade peach mint chutney enhanced the flavor option if you so wished. I love chutney, wished I could buy a bottle to take home! Dark Chocolate Cake - words can't describe how good it was! Dark chocolate cake, sour cherries, fresh whipped cream - a piece of chocolate art. Hated to destroy the dessert, but I did! It was decided I should meet the baker. She came out and I thanked her again for the beautiful and flavorful surprise. The Bungalow Kitchen: Great evening, wonderful food, atmosphere is superb, lucky to live nearby.

Had the Spicy Tuna Rolls which were just okay - the tuna did not look or taste fresh, it wasn't fishy... it was flavorless. Also had the Tomato Grilled Peach Salad, the tomatoes were mealy and super soft and there were hardly any peaches (which were cut to the size of a pea).. it was sad. Service was great and the venue is nice, but the food ... not worth it. Would I go back? No

We were seated outside where it was windy but there was a heater above the seat thank goodness. The prices on their posted menu have not been updated, and food prices have gone up since. Fries - came with three sauces, the dijonnaise was ok but the bearnaise was just ok. The portion was really tiny for $7, which was a little unexpected. The fries tasted like they had been fried again before serving. Not sure I'd order this off the happy hour menu again Mussels with Pernod garlic butter - this was good! We ordered two servings. The bread was alright, it's a little disappointing since SF has such good bread everywhere. The mussels were fresh and the delicious sauce was not too buttery. The drinks were ok - they can do any cocktail with their well alcohol for $8 which is a good deal. Service was all over the place. The server was very nice but everything was extremely slow. When we arrived they weren't busy at all so it was very puzzling why everything took so long. They also forgot an order of the french dip sliders we placed when we ordered another round of mussels. When they started to get busy for dinner, we gave up and just walked in to ask for our check. I think it was a pretty good deal overall, but with the ups and downs with service, I may not go back.

After reading some reviews here I knew it was a small place, so I was pleasantly surprised I could get a reservation during our trip to Sausalito. My husband and I had recently enjoyed some caviar for the first time but we are no experts, and I was a little worried that he might not get enough to eat. Turns out we both left perfectly satisfied. The place is tiny but so elegant. The bar is right in front of the kitchen that is sparkling clean and the chef prepares everything right there. There is a little high top table too and there was a couple there when we arrived, but afterward it was just us and we felt like royalty treated to our private dinner. We aren't caviar experts by any means but Yo did a great job explaining the different caviar flights including where it comes from - turns out the white sturgeon is farmed in the Sacramento Delta. We chose the Menage a Trois white sturgeon flight and it was so elegant. Three kinds of caviar plus all these homemade breads and crackers to enjoy it with. Every bite was amazing and I think we only left a couple of chives. Afterward we picked a couple of other dishes - the Chawanamushi and the Dungeness crab ravioli. Both were exquisite- in flavor and presentation. For dessert we had the sweet potato - Yo described it as a ganache - which I couldn't really picture but it was a very accurate description. It came with asian pear and was just the perfect finish to our meal. I had a couple glasses of French bubbly with my meal - normally I can't do more than one glass of champagne but it was crisp and yummy and paired well with everything we ate. When we were finished we got our check in a cute sturgeon pulp science fiction book. It was the final thoughtful detail to a wonderful evening. Chef Lance is a real artist and he really thinks through the ingredients and the flavors. Everything was so delicious and creative. I hope we get to come back again someday.

My sister was cold and really didn't want to have to sit outdoors so we almost opted for to go food, but ultimately chose to dine anyways, and I'm so glad we did. I'll start by saying EVERYTHING was incredible. From the food down to the service we received. All of the staff we interacted with during our time there were very kind and attentive. For starters, when we arrived, I told our waitress we had a dog and she directed us to a table on their "indoor patio ", so we we're basically sat indoors, which was really nice. We weren't cold at all, and had we been, it looked like they had overhead heaters! We ordered their bread service, the warm trout dip, truffle fries, steak & frites, the burger, mussels/clams, the chocolate tart and creme brûlée. It was all delicious. While eating our appetizers, our poor pup got sick and threw up under the table :( we tried to discreetly clean it and felt really embarrassed. Entrées came out a few minutes later, and while eating our entrées, it happened a second time. At that point, we were ready to ask for the food to go, because we were feeling so thoroughly embarrassed. As I started cleaning the vomit a second time, our kind waitress came over and told me she would take care of it. I apologized repeatedly, and we felt sooo bad. She was so kind, and gracious towards us, telling us it was okay. I never got her name, but I wanted to let her know just how much we really appreciated her assistance and for not making us feel worse about what had happened. The way she handled the situation, was the epitome of dog friendly service. I'm not sure why our pup was so sick at the restaurant. My guess is he may have swallowed some water while playing at the beach. I just really wanted to express my gratitude for you all allowing us to enjoy a nice meal and continuously treating us kindly and respectfully after our poor boy got sick in your restaurant.
