Next day, I received a call from the owner saying they are waiving the entire bill! And they are going to change their process of how they inform patients about the cost of their visit! The owner said they learned from their mistake and thanked me for bringing it up to their attention! I am impressed! I will go back to this office!

The tear in the eye ball was almost star shaped and he performed a marathon surgery for 6-7 hours straight starting at midnight to stitch it up. At 7 in the morning, he came out of the surgery and explained us exactly what he did for almost 30 minutes! He is a pro and knows what he is doing. Apart from this, he is a very good ophthalmologist. I have always been to him for all my yearly eye checks. He has all the sophisticated tools for eye examination. He does a thorough check. I would recommend the yearly complete eye check only if your insurance covers it fully as it is very expensive. He also has an optometrist at Medina eye to order the contacts or glasses.

My colleagues had recommended Bella Vision as I was looking for a place that was in downtown Bellevue, preferably walking distance from the office, which Bella Vision is. Plus, I inquired with Bella Vision online about intaking new patients, and they responded within the same week, making the new patient process and scheduling my first appointment super easy. What a breeze! After checking in, I worked with one of the team members who was super friendly and personable. She did my initial assessment of my eye exam, with the different vision tests before I was seen by the doctor. For my appointment, it took longer than an hour, so something to note in case you have a tight schedule. They take VSP, which is the vision insurance I use, so glad to know they were able to look up my account and get my payment squared away. They also sell different, luxury brand frames here, in addition to contacts. Glad to have a new place to get my annual eye exam in a location that's easy to get to, with responsive customer service.

He decided to stop accepting new patients 2 weeks prior to my appt. I called to ask if they would honor the appt given it's long standing and was told "no." I asked them to check with Dr. McManus given the length of time the appt had been on the books. They said he had specifically told them to cancel all appts (she emphasized all). She (Megan) seemed certain he wouldn't consider it and wasn't willing to approach him about this. Bottom Line - don't expect this clinic to honor those things they've committed to. In my business, I encourage employees to come to me with these types of concerns and would never have turned down someone in this situation.

Lots of people liked Dr. McManus, so I made an appointment and had an exam. Holy hand grenade, Batman--it was outstanding. State-of-the-art/new equipment, used artfully by a master of his craft. With so many different optometry services in Bellevue, it can be difficult to choose where to go. But I decided to switch over to The Eyecare Center due to its convenient location and positive reviews, which I stand by. It's very easy to make an appointment online, which is a big factor for any kind of health care services. I've been in situations where I've had to wait forever to get an appointment and/or could only schedule an appointment with someone on the phone, which can be difficult since my schedule is very busy. For me to schedule it myself, it's very easy to do online as I can plan out and also, easily cancel when need be. The Eyecare Center also takes VSP insurance. The Eyecare Center is located near the Bellevue Botanical Garden in the Wilburton neighborhood, and is right off of NE 8th street, which is easy to get to, with plenty of parking in the private lot. There's also the B line bus stop right in front of it, making it accessible for all. Staff are always friendly and I always see the same eye doctor. The annual exam takes about an hour with the usual eye tests, dilation, etc. They do also sell eyewear here. No complaints about The Eyecare Center.

Worth the extra $25 and she went through what she is looking for in the image. Looking forward to getting my next pair of glasses even though they don't accept my insurance. Great service and most importantly super cheap!…read more Even though Warby Parker does not accept my eye insurance, it is still cheaper for me to get eyeglasses done here vs other in-network stores. If you are not in the market for branded luxury eyewear, I highly recommend that you check out Warby Parker. I go to Market Optical for all my High-end stuff but I will be using Warby Parker for my everyday glasses/sunglasses. I was able to get the metal frame with single vision lenses + all standard UV/AR coatings + light transition feature (lenses thst turn darker when exposed to the sun) for $230 without insurance. It could have been about 60 dollars cheaper if I selected one of their more affordable frame options. You do not have to go into the store to place your order but the store has all the frames, so you can try them on. I highly recommend you do that and pick the frame that best fits your facial shape. It can be overwhelming a bit since the store has hundreds of frames but I'd say more options the merrier. I tried on 50+ frames before I decided on mine. I wanted something super light and the model I picked out (Blount in gold color) was perfect for me - see attached photo!

I'm really glad I ended up coming to MI Eyeworks and working with Dr. Corrado. He is very professional, kind, and explains every step of the exam. His eye exam, though still very thorough, was also extremely efficient compared to ones I've had in the past, so I was in and out of the exam room in under 30 minutes which was great! I ended up booking with MI Eyeworks instead of going home to my normal optometrist since I lost my computer glasses and needed new ones ASAP. I also decided to get sunglasses, since my insurance would cover two frames/lenses and I didn't need to replace my regular glasses this year. Leah, who helped me pick out frames and did pricing and pickup, was also very pleasant to work with. She helped me backorder frames since the colorway I wanted was sold out. The initial estimate was 5 weeks, but their supplier managed to get the frames in less than one week! The turnaround time for the glasses was extremely fast, with both glasses being ready within a week of my appointment (my other optometry had a 2-3 week turnaround). I would highly recommend coming to Mercer Island Eyeworks if you're nearby and looking for a new optometry!
