Great selection of frames. Pricing is very reasonable. I had an eye exam for glasses and contacts with the Fubdus Photography W/I&R. Worth the extra $25 and she went through what she is looking for in the image. Looking forward to getting my next pair of glasses even though they don't accept my insurance. Great service and most importantly super cheap! Even though Warby Parker does not accept my eye insurance, it is still cheaper for me to get eyeglasses done here vs other in-network stores. If you are not in the market for branded luxury eyewear, I highly recommend that you check out Warby Parker. I go to Market Optical for all my High-end stuff but I will be using Warby Parker for my everyday glasses/sunglasses. I was able to get the metal frame with single vision lenses + all standard UV/AR coatings + light transition feature (lenses thst turn darker when exposed to the sun) for $230 without insurance. It could have been about 60 dollars cheaper if I selected one of their more affordable frame options. You do not have to go into the store to place your order but the store has all the frames, so you can try them on. I highly recommend you do that and pick the frame that best fits your facial shape. It can be overwhelming a bit since the store has hundreds of frames but I'd say more options the merrier. I tried on 50+ frames before I decided on mine. I wanted something super light and the model I picked out (Blount in gold color) was perfect for me - see attached photo! read more

Disappointing Experience at Warby Parker Bellevue...READ This was my second time visiting this location, as it's the only one that consistently had availability for eye exams. So, without hesitation, I came back. However, I was in for a surprise when I was charged $150 for the eye exam, despite paying less than $25 for the same service last year. I agreed to pay the $150 without questioning it, assuming the amount included the contact lens fitting, which usually costs a bit over $100. But later, when I was selecting my frames, they informed me that I would have to pay separately for the contact lens fitting. That's when I asked why I was charged $150 just for the eye exam, especially since I had confirmed with the doctor beforehand that my insurance would cover the exam. The doctor went ahead with the exam without explaining anything about coverage or additional fees. What followed was an incredibly awkward and frustrating moment. The staff handed me the phone to speak with a doctor, who they said owns the eye care practice inside Warby Parker. They explained that the eye care service, called Bellevue Eye Care, is a separate business from Warby Parker and therefore doesn't accept my insurance. In my opinion, the lack of transparency and communication here is unacceptable. It will likely be the last time I visit this location, as it seems they prioritize profits over customer service and clarity. The place is aesthetically pleasing, but if you're considering coming here, think twice to avoid an unpleasant experience and unexpected charges. My eye exam only lasted about 8 minutes, but I spent over 30 minutes on a frustrating phone call. I felt taken advantage of today due to poor communication and unprofessional service. If you plan to visit this location, be aware that Bellevue Eye Care operates independently within Warby Parker, which could complicate insurance matters. This experience left me feeling robbed, and it's clear that neither business values transparency or customer satisfaction. In the photo, you'll see the $155 charge from "Bellevue Eye DON'T Care" for the 8-minute doctor's visit, as well as the $95 charge for my frames from Warby Parker. Not all bright spaces with nice décor offer the best service, and this experience was proof of that. Welcome to Bellevue, Warby Parker! I'm so thrilled that Warby Parker now has a Bellevue location inside Bell Square, as I no longer have to trek to Seattle for my eyewear. All of my glasses are from Warby Parker and I swear by them. They are affordable, stylish and the process for getting glasses here is simple. I visited this Bell Square location to check out new glasses and styles they had. I saw some frames online that I wanted to try in store and soon after I entered an employee asked if I needed any help. I then asked for the specific frames I had been eyeing, which they were able to find for me. Based off the style I was looking for, they also were happy to make recommendations. What's also cool about Warby is that any of their glasses can be made into prescription glasses, so if you like their sunglasses, any of those frames can be made into prescription ones. They're fully stocked, the staff are very friendly and helpful and they allow dogs. Warby Parker is the shit when it comes to your eyewear. For ordering glasses, you must have your prescription, as they do not do eye exams here. Once you order, the glasses are mailed to you. It's a simple process, and I've never had an issue with Warby Parker. I'll have to get some new specs soon, so am glad I can do this near where I live. read more

Huge shoutout to Kat! I've always known that I needed glasses, but I have been putting them off for 24 years. I finally got an eye exam done today, and I wanted to stop by Warby Parker afterwards to get some affordable frames. My boyfriend and I looked around for a bit by ourselves, and shortly after Kat came up to introduce herself. She was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer any and every question we had thoroughly. She made some great frame recommendations based on my face shape and nose. I don't have a nose bridge, so she recommended frames that had extra support/wouldn't slouch on my face when wearing them. I wanted to get a second opinion on my eye visit that I got at an opticians nearby, and Kat assisted my boyfriend and I in booking an appointment to come back in for an eye exam on Saturday. I held off on buying frames until my second opinion appointment. After assisting me with the booking, she even favorited the two frames I was interested in. She was all around amazing and friendly. I left feeling like I had all of my questions answered. I look forward to returning on Saturday! read more

The optometrist over there (Dr. Chan) is really great. I was running late (sorry) and he made time to fit me in, listened, and answered all my questions as my prescription has changed. Thank you! The staff are nice and have good customer service, but seem very green (as mentioned in a previous comment). I ordered my glasses in-store, and the order was wrong so I had to call WP customer service and rectify that. I also had to call WP customer service because the person at WP Bellvue charged me for a set of 6-months contacts that were supposed to be free (because I had insurance). I get that there is a learning curve and would still go there again, but will definitely double-check their work to make things are right. I've been using Warby Parker for 5 years now and love their glasses and it's awesome that I can get everything in one go now (exam, glasses, contacts). read more

Great experience at WP!! We've only used their online home order service before, but decided going into the store would be the best way to see all the options. When we first got in, we made a lap around the store and tried on basically all frames but still hadn't found "the one." When a lovely employee approached us to ask if we needed help, it was perfect timing. They were able to help us find the perfect frames and put in the order super quickly! read more

I ordered 3 pairs of glasses. I forgot my HSA card so they put the order on hold. I came back the next day and they couldn't pull up my order, said they don't have any way to save information. The exact opposite of what I was told 24 hours earlier. Started over, placed the order again. Waited two weeks after they charged my card $900 and called to check status. They had zero records, couldn't find the order and I was told you have to drive to the store to talk to anyone. Giant waste of time, money and patience. read more

I had a really good experience here. I had an appointment to get a new prescription and got there early to look at frames. Immediately upon walking in an optician approached me and checked me in for my appointment on her iPad. I then was able to thoroughly browse frames without getting the hard sell on anything. I eventually sat down to wait, and was chit chatting with another optician about glasses styles and she showed me one I'd over looked, so helpful... and Dr Chan came out and told me he was just waiting for the machine to dry after cleaning and then it was my turn. (It was still before my appointment time). Dr Chan was very nice and efficient and gave my eyes a thorough once over. Asked me if I had any questions and asked me specific questions about my glasses needs (ie when I'm reading where do I comfortably hold the book) and adjusted my prescription. read more

Glasses themselves are cute and I've been a fan since the beginning when there was only one store location in NYC. All that said, I've been disappointed with the skill set of their opticians in performing tasks as simple as fitting the frames to a persons face. I went twice to the bellevue location to get my frames adjusted since they kept falling off my nose. The lady who helped me was pleasant and very friendly but seemed green at best and actually broke one of the side arms off my frame. Luckily she was able to replace it with another one however the fit was terrible and worse then before. I wasn't able to fully realize this until after the fact since during covid, they adjust your glasses while you're still wearing your mask. I came back a second time a week later and a younger gentleman assisted me. It was tighter and didn't fall down my nose but the way he adjusted it warped the overall shape of the frames to the point where I'm now experiencing eye strain and discomfort. I ended up taking my frames to my optometrist's office and they fixed the frame so that my eyes are now centered. However they discovered that Warby parker never added the prism prescription to my glasses! For a store of this size and reputation, you don't expect such basic things to be overlooked or to have to micromanage everything to make sure your glasses fit correctly. I may continue to buy their frames but will think twice about having them fill the actual prescription or adjust the frames to my face. read more

This place is horrible. I suppose if your prescription is mild and your face is "standard", then it would be OK. The glasses have basically 4 sizes; narrow, medium, wide with their inventory mostly medium and a one size fits all approach. I tried to get help, but the staff that day was not interested. They just stood around and when I asked a question, they could not bother. Told me to go online. My prescription is bad which would require more precise lenses. If this is your situation, don't shop here. I'd give this store zero stars if I could. read more
