I took a Yoga Sculpt class and the instructor was great. There's water and salt plus yoga mats and towels to rent. My favorite touch was of course the cold eucalyptus towels which were so refreshing at the end of class!

The studio seemed clean and well-maintained. I arrived early to check in so I would have time to get situated before class. Hannah was kind and helpful and her colleague that checked me in (I forgot her name) was friendly too. This location has plenty of lockers where you store your belongings. It is recommended to bring your own mat and towel, so you don't have to rent them. This cost is waived on your first visit. Also, definitely bring a water bottle. They have a fill-up station close to the lockers. Ashley was a wonderful instructor and I thought she did a great job with explaining poses and the pace was comfortable. She was helpful with adjustments and instructions. I will say the room was quite warm and it was challenging at first, but staying hydrated and grabbing a cool towel will help. You can always step out to take a quick breather or refill water, if needed. The locker room is alright, but they only have 3 showers and bathroom stalls, so you may need to wait. Definitely recommend bringing a towel, change of clothes, and a pair of shower sandals. I was totally drenched after class, and didn't want to head out without showering and changing. It was a good workout, and I'd be open to trying out another class or two in the future. Recommend checking out Hot 8 Yoga if you're interested in a class & curious about hot yoga!

He's also a dog lover and took great care of my dog while I worked out. Even gave him some treats which was super sweet of him!! I was initially worried I might not have access to the same equipment I had at other locations due to the smaller space but that wasn't an issue at all!! They also have a bunch of stuff to aid in recovery that I didn't know about. Ryan recommended the inflatable compression sleeves for my legs. I had never tried them before and he walked me through putting them on. Highly recommend this gym and am grateful for Ryan!

About a year ago, they had a policy of onsite lane reservations, which is the right thing to do if you don't have online lane reservations. You had a clear start and end time, could plan your workout, and actually get a full swim in. For some reason, they've stopped doing that. Now you show up with no idea if you'll even get a lane, let alone finish in time to get to work. They're also allowing three or more people per lane, which is just unrealistic. Once a third person joins, it stops being a workout and turns into traffic management. You can forget about flip turns entirely. The lane speed designations don't help either. Most people are on tight schedules and aren't going to wait around for the "right" lane to open up. They also block off a lane for personal training, which is understandable, but that lane could still accommodate another swimmer. Decisions like this chip away at what's supposed to be a core service. Most pools in the city allow reservations. You can reserve a lane. Some even have a no show fee which totally works. you can't trust humans to so the right thing here because they in most cases won't. Bottom line, the lack of reservations and overcrowding make it impossible to plan a consistent, efficient swim. It turns something that should be straightforward into a daily gamble.

Housekeeping: 5 stars! Professional and super hard working. (As other reviewers have said.)…read more Equipment and fitness floor: 2.75 stars: they have a few interesting machines, but they don't have enough of the more popular standard ones. There is one of each of the weight machines so the wait times can be pretty long any part of the day. They could repurpose some of the open mat area, which is unnecessarily large in comparison to the area dedicated to the machines. Group fitness classes: 3.5 stars: they have a lot of good classes. There is not enough variety, as other reviews noted. I remember when they had tons of Pilates mat classes. Now they focus mostly on Zumba, which is wonderful...we need more strength training (like Pilates or such). Spa and pool facilities: 2.5 stars. The women's locker room is well maintained, and is the main reason why we continue to choose this gym. They recently installed some very temperamental locks in the women's locker rooms, and the numbers on the locks are super small to read...seems like an ADA issue; As it is, the housekeeping staff needs to help with lock-outs all day. (And they still keep the place sparkling clean! Hence five stars in the first category above.) The women's steam room is offline chronically due to repair issues. And so women who use the pool need to walk, dripping with cold pool water, through a lounge/lobby area while the steam room is under construction. These conditions have been true for over two months now. And there is no good timeline for when the steam room and direct access to the pool area will be restored. The steam room was under construction in 2025, too. Security team is incredible. Bottom line: if housekeeping and security could run the whole place, this would be a five-star review; If you need to get through your workout efficiently, and don't want to wait in line for a shoulder press or leg press, maybe check another gym with more than one of each type of machine. If you want daily cardio-type fitness classes, and don't need machines or weight lifting work, this gym is a good option. Just don't bring a bag that you need to stow in a locker to avoid the hassle of getting locked out! (Bags of any kind are prohibited on the gym floor.) We have been members for a long time, and so we have a reasonable rate. I would not pay the current prices, however, as it feels like too much for what they currently offer. Hope this helps you decide on the best gym for your needs!

Would be awesome to get some new weight machines, not much has changed in the last few years. The cardio machines are nice but mainly that area stays less crowded, perhaps removing a row of treadmills or bikes for squat racks would do well for the location. Only real feedback that took a point off for me: please get new hair dryers!! Fillmore location has dry bar and Dyson hair dryers, but the mid market location hair dryers feel like kids toys! lol, not a big deal, but if you gym before work and shower etc, it's such a pain to dry your hair.

I reached out to diakadi because multiple people told me it was the best personal training gym, and I'm so glad I did. It's been 4 months since I started working out with Jaime and the results are clear -- I can wrangle my boys, carry heavy things, and have more endurance in all the tasks of being a mom. I feel stronger. Diakadi's trainers go through a rigorous interview process and looking around every time I go people are working out in a way that supports long term health and fitness, vs the way group fitness pushes you but often at the expense of injury. With all the literature on the importance of muscle mass for long term health, this is hands down the best investment in myself I've made in the past few years.

Most recent experience: The last time I was at this CorePower was such a frustrating experience! There was a group of us waiting outside the studio for class, but no one ever showed up to open the studio nor teach the class, and no one was answering their phones (we also tried to reach out to their support center). On top of that, the weather was wet and awful (obv don't blame the studio for that, but waiting outside for so long with no contact from anyone at CP wasn't great). When they finally responded to my support messages, they reimbursed my booked class and gave me an extra class that expires in one month, but it was still very unprofessional that this happened at all. Classes: After pandemic, the studio is less busy which is admitted kinda nice sometimes as there isn't a struggle to find space in class even during "rush" times; however, this also means that a lot of their classes have been getting cancelled. It's unclear why, though I suspect a combo of lack of signups and the inability to find a substitute if the scheduled teacher is unavailable at short notice. Teacher Training: They're always pushing their teacher training programs and it seems like teachers graduate often. When taking class at the same time a training is going on, the student teachers often socialized in the lobby during their break, making it more challenging to get through to the class.
