I think this is a good class format as the coaches take the time to work with you on form, preventing injuries down the line. The coaches: Dave, Staci, Mike, and Ryan do a great job! Some of the workouts are very intense, and there is NO WAY I would be able to push myself that hard without their encouragement. They know what they are doing, and are fantastic people. I haven't had workouts this high in intensity since college days. There is great community vibe here too. The same people show up to classes, you make friends, get inspired, get challenged, and have fun. And this produces results. In less then 2 months, I dropped 2 body fat percentage points, gained two inches in my shoulders, and lost an inch in my waist. My deadlift is up 40 lbs, and similar gains in other lifts. I'm told my posture has improved. I see similar changes in people that consistently show up. Unlike many other crossfit gyms, this gym isn't overpriced - it's half the price of popular crossfit gyms within Boston. For the money, there isn't a crossfit gym around that can offer nearly the same level of coaching and dedication that you get at Billerica Crossfit. In tough times and shrinking paychecks, I very much appreciate that this gym makes the benefits of crossfit affordable.

Fit Results is a beautiful, modern gym that sits inside the former Billerica Furniture Company location; it's a renovated barn that's been transformed into a 24/7 fitness center. All equipment is either brand new or refurbished, all of which is excellent working order. I spent all of my time in the cardio area upstairs, which is accessible via its own staircase, so you have the privacy of bypassing the rest of the gym. I signed up for a single month for $40 and this gave me a nice chance to see if the gym was, for lack of a better word, a good fit for me It certainly was and I considered a longer-term contract, but unfortunately my busy schedule did not permit it. Prices are a bit higher than other area gyms and there may be a signup fee involved, so find out about current specials and packages. From what I was told, contracts can be voided if you move a certain distance and they have deals for students/young people who live at home who might move. This is a great place to work out and I definitely recommend it. If I had the time, I'd absolutely be a member.

The gym is well laid out and there are never more than 5-10 people in the gym at once (many times I'm there alone). And you can't beat the 24/7/365 time open.
