I have been going to Fit Factory Nashville for the past 3 years, and I wanted to share what a life-changing experience it's been (and why YOU should give it a try)! First, about the workouts: Fit Factory is a gym with fitness classes that are a nice hybrid of HIIT and CrossFit style workouts. The workouts mix up using body movements (squats, lunges, setups, plank), weights (dumbbells, kettlebells), and machines (rower, skier, assault bike, runner). The workouts are not meant to be a walk in the park (but why would you pay money for that?)-- they are meant to challenge you. That being said, the workouts are as hard as YOU want them to be. If you aren't an athlete and have never worked out, you can modify and do as much as you are able. If you're super fit and in shape, the workouts will still kick your butt. They have about 6 classes every weekday (morning, noon, and evening) so you can go whenever is most convenient for your schedule. Second, the people! The owners, trainers, and everyone who goes to the classes are SO NICE. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, so you don't need to feel intimidated if you have never attended group exercise classes before. The coaches are incredibly considerate of everyone's personal needs and fitness background (or lack thereof) and emphasize proper form and safety. Third, the life-change: For me, Fit Factory has been an investment in my physical health and mental well-being. Their classes provide a friendly environment for me to get out of my apartment, sweat, and relieve stress. It's a healthy distraction from work and an opportunity to make some new friends! Also, you would be surprised at your fitness GAINZZZ- I've realized fitness accomplishments like getting a strict pull-up and muscle-up! This is the best gym I've ever been to. The workouts are amazing. I came here for a month and was in the best shape I had been in years. It's challenging in the best way. The workouts are very thoughtfully designed, and made for all fitness levels. Take a look at their instagram or FB for videos of sample workouts. Whats really special about Fit Factory are the instructor/owners (who are like the cutest, most attractive and sincerely nice couple), who have been built an amazing community. I know people rave about the communities at different places but this is the best one I've been to and I've been to a lot of gyms and many different cities. They know your name day one. I went with a friend, came back by myself a week later, and they asked me about my friend by name. People encourage each other, push you to try harder, be better, and no one is showing off, just working hard. The instructors are engaged and even know when you progress to a higher weight, and that's saying a lot because a lot of people come here. If you're thinking about where to go in Nashville, and you like pseudo crossfit exercise, just come here. If you're someone who likes Barry's Bootcamp and working out in the dark with instructors who barely correct your form and want a place where you can buy expensive water, maybe you won't like FitFactory, but you should still give it a try. And they have some of the cutest dogs you've ever seen that romp around. I don't even live in Nashville anymore, but I'd move back just for this gym. read more

There's no place I'd rather sweat. I love walking through the doors at Fit Factory knowing that each day is a new workout that's going to help keep me fit from toes to temples. My wife converted me over to Fit Factory almost two years ago and I haven't regretted making the jump for a single second. I used to spend hours at night going to a big box gym just to do tons of isolated exercise and long, plodding cardio. Having all of that combined into a one hour workout that's cardiovascular, muscle building, and conditioning strengthening is an amazing feat, and one that Fit Factory and their amazing owners and trainers pull off with aplomb. Their instruction, confidence, and enthusiasm is contagious so it's hard not to show up and go all out. Have I been more sore than I ever knew I could be? Yes. Have I amazed myself at my own body's ability to sweat so, so much? Absolutely. Do I feel more fit and confident in my own body and day to day life? Unquestionably. If you're not sure that Interval Training classes and coaching is for you, don't worry, there are barbell classes too. I left my first (FREE) class at the gym exhausted, challenged, and eager to make new strides in my own personal fitness and highly recommend that everyone else should do the same. read more

Let me start this by saying that I was a musical/drama club kinda girl in high school. The closest thing I did to a sport was cheerleading and that's only because I was living vicariously through One Tree Hill. I've never considered myself to be anything even CLOSE to an athlete nor would I have thought to use the word "strong" to describe me physically. About two years ago, I was bored with my old workout routine (or lack thereof) and saw an ad on facebook for Fit Factory. I decided to give it a try. I showed up and immediately, everyone was so welcoming. The coaches are all fantastic. They do a great job of encouraging you to push yourself but they're also very knowledgeable and safely walk you through the workouts to prevent injury. They demo the workouts every class, so you never have to worry about not knowing how to do something. Fit Factory is now a part of my weekly routine. I feel stronger every time I go. If you've made it through this long-winded review (sorry!), you obviously are curious enough to give it a try. I promise you, you won't regret it. From the second I stepped into Fit Factory, it felt like home. To be honest, I've never been a big fan of workout boutiques. This was based on the assumption that all who go there are body builders training for the Olympics & no way was I going to set myself up for failure. Fortunately, I realized that was just fear sliding into my DMs. I've tried a couple different HIIT style gyms in the past but unfortunately, my wallet isn't as big as my muscles. So when I heard about the quality of workouts & the reasonable price point attached, I made my way to Fit Factory. And I came to realize the quality of folks that make up this workout community is just as high as the workouts themselves. I was greeted warmly by multiple people - coaches and fellow gym members like I'd been going there for years. You want to feel loved? Stop by the gym. And maybe stay for the workout too. If you're new to Nashville and are looking for a challenging, exciting group workout, Fit Factory is for you. I've been going to this gym for almost a year, and I've formed friendships built on sweat (and a little bit of suffering) and have met some incredible like-minded people at Fit Factory. After being a member of a CrossFit gym for 2.5yrs, Fit Factory is the perfect balance of what I'm looking for. There's opportunities to be competitive (barbell, gym-run competitions, Spike Ball....let's be honest, Spike Ball gets ULTRA competitive) but the focus at this gym isn't who can get the best score, most reps or best time. As a result of not unintentionally white board shaming, I've seen less injuries and much better retention at Fit Factory. People feel part of this community, and they keep coming back. Fit Factory coaches encourage taking care of your body, creating a healthy balance and building a community that embraces your fitness/lifestyle goals, no matter what they are. Warning: prepare to be addicted to Fit Factory! After my friends had talked and talked about this place for months, I finally decided to give it a try back in August of 2017. *BONUS: the first class is free so you really have no excuse not to give it a try! Personally, it was one of the best decisions I've ever made! I've never regretted a workout or thought that it could've been harder. You can tailor it to your fitness level so it doesn't matter if you are a beginner or more advanced in your fitness journey. Since starting, I've crushed some personal fitness goals and am seriously in the best shape I think I've ever been in! The coaches are awesome and make sure you maintain proper form during the entire work out. They also do an amazing job of pushing you to exceed even what you thought was possible! For me, gyms have always been very intimidating. I remember walking into Fit Factory like a scared puppy, but little did I know I would be greeted BY puppies into such a welcoming and positive environment. There was no turning back for me after that first day. I've been a proud 6am 'Fit Factorian' for 9 months - enjoying the variety of challenging HIIT workouts, the monthly challenges, and community. However, what I like most about Fit Factory are the coaches. The coaches are always motivating and pushing you to work harder because they know you can. Their encouragement throughout the workout is what keeps me going and reaching for heavier weights. They also take the time to breakdown the exercises so that they are executed properly and will even work with you after class so that you are comfortable (that was me with the pull-ups!!!!). I've been going to Fit Factory for about two years now and all I can say is it has been life changing! This gym is perfect for people of all shapes, sizes, and athletic backgrounds. Whether you are new to working out or a college athlete, you will be challenged and get a great workout! The workouts change daily and are a perfect mix of weight training and HIIT. The coaches are all well-educated and will take the time to help with your form as well as push you a little outside of your comfort zone. Outside of the workouts, the community is something that makes Fit Factory so unique. You will find that you have new friends and a community to push and support you! They also host a variety of social events outside of the gym. Love Fit Factory Gym! Only wish I can pack them up and take them with me to California and Georgia when I travel for work! Haven't found another place I love more. There are a lot of class options throughout the day. I like mornings best as it's a little less crowded. Awesome variety of full body workouts/cardio. Sometimes (like on snow days) trainers will even post a workout you can do from home on FFN's social media accounts! Libby and Whitney are extremely encouraging and remember my name, even after I have been MIA for a few weeks! They're always hosting some kind of challenge or social event, think 80's gym attire on "Throwback Thursdays" and bowling nights, happy hours, Whole 30 Groups, Row competitions, etc. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a fitness family in Nashville, or even a fun-filled workout while your visiting! read more

I have been going to this gym since July of last year. I started with the groupon and 1 month later I was hooked. For those of you who struggle to motivate, or end up standing around at the gym staring at all the machines unsure of what you should (or can) do, this is the place for you. I fall into the former category, but I have no time to dread the day's workout because it's always a surprise when I get there. Once I'm there, I know I'm going get my butt kicked. Short of running a marathon, I've never sweat so much in my life. The encouragement and positive attitude that's baked into the culture of this gym is just the icing on the cake. I started coming here because Nashville's sauna like summers made it hard to run outside. However, the people, the workouts and the physical improvement are what keep me coming back. The people: The coaches are amazing- they have helped improve my awful form and are encouraging but not overbearing. The workouts: I have been coming for 7 months and don't think I've done the same workout twice. The variety of cardio and strength training means there is never a dull workout. The physical improvement: As a runner, knee push-ups and sit-ups were my idea of strength training days. I'm amazed at how strong I have become and I PR-ed a half marathon since joining. Fit Factory is the best! Been going for a little less than 2 years now, and I really look forward to working out, which is kind of amazing. I'm constantly challenged and perpetually sore (in a good, healthy way)! We regularly use kettlebells, dumbbells, TRX, cardio machines (i.e. rowers, assault bikes, ski ergs), med balls, the list goes on. The trainers are fantastic. They go through all the movements at the beginning of the workout, and they will also come by and help you one-on-one if you're new or just need a little guidance. There are also social events pretty frequently, which is a great way to get to know your fellow gym-goers a little better. Fit Factory Nashville has changed my life! After moving to Nashville in 2015 I was in search for a workout class that made me feel strong and happy. I went from gym to gym and had little success. Then one day my roommate and I found Fit Factory Nashville on Groupon and decided to give it a try. We were hooked after our first class! I recently started my fitness journey back in August of 2106. I have come a long way going to a different gym but I didn't feel challenged. I found Fit Factory on Groupon and took advantage of the Groupon special to see if it is something that I would like. A great place to work out. The schedule is perfect for everyone, offering classes before, after and even during work hours. The workouts are intense, but able to be modified for all fitness levels. Trainers are knowledgeable and encouraging. Owners (and trainers) go above and beyond to make it a community as much as it is a gym. It is also the most reasonably priced place in Nashville.
