They had a good selection of donuts and flavors...it was hard to choose which flavors we wanted! Thanks to the helpful staff, I picked up a 1 lb loaf of the European Rye (the bread that started it all decades ago) and a cinnamon twist for a treat. Now this is what real bread tastes like! Most of their bread is sourdough based and tastes heavenly. I had a slice of the European Rye to test it out before bringing it home to my family. It was so good, I almost don't want any of my family to have it! The cinnamon twist was gone in a flash. A few seconds in a microwave and the heavenly aroma was all over the office. Both items cost me about $7 in all. I think those are great prices for great products! This place is a little off the beaten path (bakery is in the back... you'll see a cool 1965 vintage Chevy by the door) but it is very much worth the trip!

I corrected her and she asked me to wait for someone to show up to confirm the price.... But I didn't see her confer with anyone and again the price was written on the order ticket. After waiting about 5min she was ready to take my payment and said $50 was okay but didn't apologize or explain the confusion as to why she tried to charge me more. That doesn't feel good, if it was a "mix-up" then just tell me so I can make an informed decision next time. With no explanation provided it doesn't feel like a "mix-up" or even honest. The cake tastes really great, I love the people who helped me on the phone, I love that this bakery was available and flexible, and clearly they are very popular and well-loved.
