THIS WAS DAMN GOOD! This burger was so good I went back the following day to make sure I wasn't exaggerating. The burger and truffle fries are superb. I got the 'outcast' and the 'truff attack' the fries were pretty much perfect, the truffle was not overpowering and there was the right amount of cheese, now this burger *chefs kiss, flavorful, balanced and complexly delicious. The right amount of cheese and crunch and a moist brioche bun. The service was amazing, some how during my wait I opened up about some up coming event I was going to be apart of. The cashier remembered me the following day and was funny and charismatic during both encounters. The atmosphere is perfect, this food truck is in the parking lot of Ivanhoe Brewery so you have the option to knock back a couple brews with this impeccable beefy delight. The times i went i sole went for the burger.

This food truck was established by a couple of influencers. They move from down south to Orlando with one thing in mind. Make the best smash burger. And so far they are not far from wrong. Irregular Smash is located right outside Ivanhoe Park Brewery. This is a perfect fit. The food truck allows both parties traffic to feed off each other and boy they work it. The smash burger is thin to the teeth, almost as thin as a paper. It ends crispy and full of flavor. Their choices of cheeses is superb. The fries have their own sauce and they do an amazing job at caramelizing the onions. They also have tequeños and churros available. Brandon and Jorge are the owners. They treated us like family. Welcoming and caring people. They embodied their brand and they stand behind it. It's a great addition to the food truck community and a great pairing with our local brewery. More business should function around this concept. It seems favorable to all. Jan

They're exceptional! This is our family's favorite smash burger spot, and we can't praise them enough for their delicious smash burgers and sides. Each of us has a favorite, so I highly recommend multiple visits so you can try them all and find your favorite. They also offer a plant based burger! Their sides are just as delicious. We LOVE their Beast (crispy fries topped with a grilled, chopped burger, cheese, grilled onions, and Irregular Smash sauce), Irregular Sticks (crispy fried Venezuelan cheese sticks), and Truffle Attack Fries. Everything is cooked fresh to order, and so good! Service is absolutely fantastic as well -- with some of the hardest working and nicest owners you'll ever meet! You can find this phenomenal food truck at their permanent spot at Ivanhoe Park Brewing.

Service was friendly. The smash burger was good. They ran out of crispy onions so that was a bummer. The burger itself was not dry like some smashed burger places. I picked the one with Gouda as that's my fav. I recommend eating their fries when they are fresh hot because when I got home, they weren't as great. They started tasting half cooked (not just talking about it being cold).Odd, I know. I would go back and try their irregular sticks

I had to try after I saw a post on IG. I haven't seen a smashburger made this well since living in Orlando. The OG Smash ($13) definitely lived up to hype. Soft bun, lacey-edges, carmelized onion, sauce. It's how a burger should be. Then we had the Truffle Attack fries ($6). Didn't even need to ask for a side of sauce; it comes standard. I love when a business comes out swinging this hard with a small menu, but making everything perfectly. Definitely the best smashburger in Orlando!

Amazing smash burgers and a kind/friendly staff! Conveniently being located in the parking lot of the Ivanhoe Park brewing company gives you a nice, shaded outdoors seating area. We got the Outcast and the OG Smash burgers. Both were packed with flavor and the slight crisp on the burger patties was great. The portion sizes are rather large for a smash burgers, so you def better be ready to eat. We also got "The Beast" fries. They were also amazing and just like the burgers and a pretty large portion size as well. (You can easily get these instead of a burger if you so choose!) We have had just about ever smash burger in the Orlando area and I can def say this is up there with some of my favorites. We will definitely be back!

Wow, this is a fantastic burger! We came across them at a Disney market at Ivanhoe Brewing, and I am so glad we did. The Firestarter and truffle fries were the best I had in awhile. Service is out of this world too!

I'd say this is a 4.5, but alas, that still isn't an option. Ordered the Firestarter and a side of fries. The fries were for sure a 5 out of 5. I don't know what the little extra crispy bits were mixed in, but they added to the texture really nicely. Seasoning was great, and just overall, excellent. The Firestarter was good. It probably would have gone up without the hot honey. The sweet came in a little stronger than I would have liked. The burger patty itself was a typical smash burger, bun was good consistency. Definitely a messy/greasy burger. That's not a bad thing, just worth noting. Overall, a good experience. I don't know that I would go out of my way to come back, but if I wanted to hangout with friends and be able to get a local beer at the brewery it's next to, I'd go back.

Always blown away by how good an Irregular Smash Burger is! Located right next to Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company. Ample parking. Their food truck looks awesome on the exterior and interior. Always super clean! Service is always 11/10. They go out of their way to interact with each guest. Every burger is always cooked to perfection and quality is consistent every time. Ingredients used always appear and taste extremely fresh. Fair pricing across the menu. Definitely my go to when I'm in the mood for a good smash burger. Follow the owners on Instagram. They are always so funny and entertaining!

Wow! Located permanently at Ivanhoe Brewing this new Smash Burger spot is making a huge impact! We got the OG, Outcast, Fire Starter, Truffle Attack Fries and the beast. Everything was delicious, but our favs were the Outcast and beast!

This is my new favorite smash burger in Orlando. All the burgers are so good. Each one is unique so you get something different on each one. I love the sides too. If you go you have to get the truffle fries.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! My boyfriend and I are regulars here and truly believe this is the best smash burger in Orlando. Who doesn't love brews and a burger? We each got an OG Smash and Truffle fries. Delicious, fast, and AMAZING service! We love the cashier :^) Highly recommend!!

    Travis J.

Let me start this ofnby saying, these are proper smashburgers! The fact that Ivanhoe went this long without having a primary food source on the property, is surprising! These guys put love into their burgers, and you taste from the burgers and the irregular sauce! The OG Smash is everything you want in a smash burger; pickles, chopped onion, & Cheese. For a more savory burger, The Outcast will be your go to, for the bacon, crispy onions, and gouda cheese! There's also a Truffle burger and Firestarter for the spice lovers! These guys have an awesome personality and gove top notch service! Make sure you ask about their burger and beer pairings!

"Cheesesteak" was served on some type a harder/denser hoagie roll, like Italian bread idk... but def not on the bread a cheesesteak should be on. & it was about 5-6 inches long, which is way smaller than we imagined considering the picture on the menu or compared to cheesesteaks served in other restaurants. Sandwiches overall were good flavor-wise. Sauces needed a stronger flavor profile, all very similar and hard to distinguish the differences. Restaurant was way bigger than we expected it to be inside. Decor was cute. Looked nice and clean in the dining room. The bathrooms were disgusting and unkept. Service was lacking. Cashier seemed new (which is fine) but the other coworkers seemed annoyed they had to assist her or that she didn't know everything. She was helpful and nice to us. Cutlery, napkins, and ketchup were hiding near the soda fountain and we weren't aware of this. Accidentally took some of the togo ketchup packets to use with our fries since we didn't know there was a ketchup dispenser. These items need to be in a better spot or the food runner should direct the customers to that area so they can get the things they need for their meals. Won't be back, but I guess we're glad we tried it. Halal certified restaurant

Looking around after the game, a smash burger sounded like just the thing we needed. Ambiance was nice. Good, chill vibes, a random door to a random next-door bar. Plenty of viable seating for my party of six. Service was pretty ok. The front counter worker was nice enough, but the food took forever to come out. Much longer than I would expect for the products we ordered. The food itself was dynamite. I got the Papi Big Mak (Two Florida-raised beef patties, smashed onions, lettuce, American cheese, sweet-heat pickles, tostone "Middle Bun" , Papi Mak sauce, Sesame Martin Potato Roll). This was a fun thing. The patties had a good crisp to them. The totstone did not, though, so it got a little lost in the bite and chew. Needed more sauce. And that sesame seed bun really helped out a lot, too. A little extra texture in every bite. I was a fan. I also got the chance to try the Umami Papi (Two Florida-raised beef patties, crispy bacon, white cheese, sweet-heat pickles, crispy onion, raspberry jam, Uuuumami truffle sauce, sesame buns). This one was a better topping combination. The pickles had a nice pop of acid, the raspberry jam really stood out, adding a nice sweetness, and the truffle sauce, never thought I needed it on a burger. I did. Standout burger. I also got the Papis Loco Fries. I forget exactly what these fries were topped with, but the cheese, just look at it. Congealed just perfectly. A good side item, for sure. Overall, this greasy meal is out there doing the good work for the people. Maybe this was a four star meal overall, but I'm not sitting, that Umami Papi was a standout for me, and the reason I now give five stars.

Nice, crispy edges on the patties, and I loved how many sesame seeds were on the buns. Great flavor. Cons: The only thing was that they waited for our whole party's order to be ready before calling names, instead of just serving them as they came. This lead to cold burgers. Tips: Make sure you arrive early! If you wait too long, they switch to a smaller, less interesting menu.

To my surprise, I was disappointed by the food. I got the loaded frings and a 5 x 5 burger. I believe the burger is relatively new, since it wasn't on any of the pictures of their menu on Google. Ambiance: The staff was friendly enough and I do like the fact that you can see them cooking the burgers in front of you. However, looking around at the restaurant, it looks like there was no upkeep. There were broken tiles, tables weren't cleaned, and I believe there might have been mold when I was filling my water cup at the ice machine, like visibly on the spout. Food: Loaded frings- I'm not sure how you mess this one up, but they somehow did it. The fries were overcooked and the bacon was fried to hell. I think you can actually see how burnt the bacon was in the pictures. It tasted like charcoal. Lastly, the fries were completely soaked in cheese sauce, which I'm guessing was from a can. It tasted like the cheese you'd have at state fairs, except more watery. There was more sauce than fries and onion rings! I should have taken a picture after eating half of the fries. I could not eat the bottom half of the frings because it was all soggy Burger- the same cooked-to-hell bacon was used on the burger. Not much else need to say about that. Looking at the picture of the burger, you'd think that the patties were way overcooked as well. That was not entirely the case. The patties weren't extra dry, but they weren't as juicy as I would have liked a burger to be. I'd say it was just okay. Maybe a half step below average. I really wanted to like this place, but I wasn't able to. I'm not sure if I came by on an odd day, because the reviews say otherwise. I really hope management can fix these issues.

The resturant inside was very clean, and the employees working behind the counter were very nonchalant. I ended up ordering their grilled chicken sandwich combo with their famous skinny fries. My mom got the Freddy's Original double combo with a Turtle milkshake and onion rings. The sandwich portion was big. The chicken was very juicy and tasted alright. The fries, however, were not seasoned. I had to get a salt and pepper packet to season them. At that point, they were very good, tasty, and crispy! Overall, the meal was okay. It was nothing spectacular but also nothing terrible either. As for my mom, she wasn't very impressed with her hamburger. She said the portion size was good, but she would describe the hamburger itself as "lacy." She said it was okay, but since it took us 27 minutes to get here, she said Culver's was better in quality and closer. She was underwhelmed by the onion rings. She said it was more of the fried breading and barely any onion inside. However, she did enjoy her milkshake, but struggled to suck it up through the straw. I sadly just realized that I have never reviewed Freddy's. I have been here so often that I…read moreassumed that I already had! Time to fix that oversight. Now this review has nothing to do with that my father's name was Freddy and that my mother's favorite treat was frozen custard. But those little tidbits of information don't hurt. The warm feeling that I get when I eat frozen custard reminiscent of enjoying it on the boardwalk with my mom is renewed at Freddy's not because of the ambience of the restaurant, but because of that same delicious taste that my mind still seems to remember from long ago that I have not found anywhere else before this. But I digress. Freddy's may look like your typical fast food restaurant, but it is anything but. I already loved it for the burgers, the french fries with their wonderful sauce, and of course, the custard but now they have a salad as well. Really fresh greens with my favorite burger on top as a garnish. Low-carb great taste and totally filling. But not so filling as to not leave room for that wonderful custard. On this particular visit, I did run into an issue which I will not lower my rating because of, but want people aware of so it does not happen to them. If you have a coupon for a discounted custard, and they ring in any other item after that, it will restore the custard to the full price on their register. I did not notice that and paid the full price. The manager did give me a card for a free custard next visit so they certainly took responsibility but just wanted people aware to keep an eye on that. In defense of the staff, I don't think they noticed either that it had occurred, so I did not allow that to detract from my impression of five star service from their pleasant, friendly and attentive staff Of course the custard is a star. It comes in all sorts of different ways to serve it. I tend to usually be a purist indeed, as a soft serve, but sometimes their specials are so exciting that I cannot resist. I have never tasted any of them that I did not find awesome. Their steakburgers should not be left as an afterthought. These are not like other fast food burgers; the meat is actually very tasty and because there's not any "proprietary" seasonings on it I even order an extra one so that I can sit outside with my puppy and she can enjoy it. It is small enough to not be unhealthy for her and big enough to be a satisfying snack. Its fat content does not make her ill like the typical fast food burger would. I personally like the fries and find the sauces to be quite good. Prices are more than reasonable and they have hours that make them convenient whenever you're hungry or craving that custard fix. I am a Freddy's fan and wish they would open one closer to where I live in Miami.
