    Ok onion smashburger

This place was surprising to me at how small it was, but the space was used wisely so no complaints. There are some hi tops and some low tops and some counter seats to choose from. The menu is very small, a couple.of burgers, a trio of sandwiches a couple of small bites and that's about it. The drink menu is extensive however. You can even get Foxtail coffee and Kelly's ice cream for dessert. Our server was efficient and food came out fairly quickly. The burger was good as was the pastrami sandwich. I am super fussy about fatty, inedible meat but not the case here. The pastrami was delicious and the toppings complimented the sandwich, didn't overwhelm it which is sometimes a issue. Anyway, good food, good service, nice ambiance so its a for me.

I had a lot of fun at Swine & Sons located in the Milkhouse. I was looking to have a delicious smash burger and it did not disappoint. My only small issue with this location is that it is essentially a cafe/bar/restaurant/ice cream shop. It makes it a little confusing when it comes to the service level and where to purchase what. But, the good news is that the burgers and curly fries are well worth a visit!

This is an old favor of ours. The great thing about it is it has not only swine and sons, but Kelly's ice cream, and a full service bar. Came in for New Year's bike ride. Ended up having the Petronas drink. Wow, didn't expect the gold sparkle on top. Very interesting presentation and excellent drink. Also had the curly fries and pastrami sandwich. The pickles on the pastrami sandwich were a nice touch. The fries were crispy on the outside and had good texture along with being fluffy on the inside. Highly recommend.

Phenomenal food. We sampled quite a few dishes here during an early Sunday lunch and everything was amazing. The staff were patient with us as we had never been to the milk house or swine & sons before. The menu had a great variety and there was casual indoor and outdoor seating. There is a private parking lot for the milk house which is the main building that hosts a few businesses including swine & sons. Business was slow during the time of our visit but I can see parking being limited during peak hours. We will definitely be back to sample more of this delicious menu. Highly recommend!!

I stopped in to Swine & Sons because I was in the area and craving a smash burger and I'm so glad I found this place. The building is called the MilkHouse and it is truly a one stop shop. The location has a Foxtail Coffee and a Kelly's ice cream shop as well. The food was wonderful and the portion sizes were large. I also got an Irish coffee which was delicious. I sat at the bar and it was a comfortable experience. The servers were super nice and gave me a rundown of the events they have on site. I will definitely be returning to checkout their happy hour.

Was in the area with the wife and granddaughter and by recommendation came upon Swine and Sons, completely overshot and missed the establishment because it's tucked in a corner in the parking lot, however found a parking spot we all stepped in, was immediately greeted by the bartenders too have a seat anywhere we'd like, that being said three different businesses are inside. This one building is a coffee shop a bar and an ice cream stand inside interesting? But we are here for the food, anyways within two minutes young lady approached our table said hello, said the menus were on the table and she'd be back to get our drink order? There was nobody in the building except two people sitting at the bar? Strange that she didn't gather the order right there, but whatever a few minutes go by, she returns and ask for a drink order which we provided. Starting with the appetizers, smoke chicken, wings, and deviled egg toast, also giving her the main course order at the same time, a chicken sandwich, a pastrami sandwich and turkey club with an order of their fries, appetizers, arriving in seven minutes, while the egg toast presented well. The flavors were just ok, the smoked wings tasty nothing special and spicy, main course arrived 15 minutes later, sandwich size are generous, pastrami sandwich was fantastic. Chicken sandwich was ok, Wife wasn't liking the turkey club unfortunately, fries were hot. and tasted very good, now you must be wondering why I'm giving three stars well I don't expect any server to be my friend I expected a certain degree of warmth and welcome. The young lady had none of that very direct to the point no check-in on the food at any time,, kind of just a matter of fact, also the fact that a sandwich is $19 and you're telling me the menu is à la carte nothing coming with the sandwich is a reach. I'll also add that the menu is very very limited on lunch entrées. We asked for boxes to pack up all items to go and she just dropped off the check. I asked if the coffee shop and ice cream shop were open and how do we order from there? She told me to come on over and she would take care of me not even asking us if we'd like to have dessert or coffee weird but whatever, stepped over to the ice cream parlor grab some ice cream sat back down at our table paid our check and we left. I'll just say that I won't drive 45 minutes from my home to come back here again. It was just an OK spot. I guess if you live in the area I have spoken...

Really enjoyed my lunch here. Had a smash burger and my mom had a club sandwich. Both items were so delicious. Then topped it off with some of Kelly's delicious ice cream. Prices were very reasonable and food very fresh. The staff was very kind and so helpful. Food came out nice quick and hot. The restaurant is inside a building called the milk house. So you can order foxtail coffee , swine and son's food , or Kelly's ice cream. Very cool vibe here. I'm sure it's so nice too at night sitting outside. I would love to come visit again.

Swine & Sons has been popular for a very long time, but there are so many popular places in Orlando, that I just hadn't gotten to it until recently. As a recurring character on the annual Michelin Guide, I fast forwarded things, and came here during one of my breaks during the Fringe Festival. The ambiance is beautiful, because it's nestled inside the beautiful Foxtail Coffee shop. Check my review of that for a description. Service was also great, as all the staff were all working together and was the same wonderful staff as the aforementioned Foxtail. No issues. A friendly bunch in a friendly space. As for the food, oh my goodness. Talk about style And substance. The good was definitely IG fodder, but it was also delicious, well-crafted, and well worth the reasonable price tag. I had the Chiang Mai Hot Chicken (fried Bell & Evans thigh meat finished with an aromatic blend of Northern Thai spices & topped with with sweet & sour pickled papaya & herbs). A huge piece of chicken thigh, well fried and well sauced, very unctuous. It's so flavorful that all it needs to make it perfect is the papaya and herbs. And it's all finished off on an actually properly sized bun. Perfect sando. I also got the chance to sample the Simple Man Smashburger (double smashpatties, American cheese, garlic dill pickles, marinated tomato, lettuce, secret sauce). Another great sandwich. Well seasoned smashpatties, a great amount of fresh veg, those marinated tomatoes that just pop with acid and flavor in your mouth. Lovely lovely. Overall, this place was pretty special. For people being drawn to it via Michelin, they won't be disappointed. Very nice place.

Pros: Very cool ambiance. Inside of a giant building that shares a space with Foxtail. Counter service with really friendly workers who know the small menu very well, so they can make good recommendations. Food was stellar. It's a simple menu, but they do it very well. Very juicy hamburger meat with huge, bright, fresh veggies on top. Cons: No real cons. They do everything So well, I'd love to see an expanded menu. Tips: You can't go wrong with anything you choose, but that Chiang Mai Mai Hot Chicken was another level of good. Super delicious.

We discovered the food menu here one day ordering coffee. Wow. Every offering I've tried has been generous in portion size and delicious. The service is made to order, but waiting in this trendy coffee roasters location is relaxing. Plenty of parking in the back of the street parking is full.

What a cute little spot! Visiting from CA, found this via help! Awesome vibe, reminded my kids of armature works in Tampa! Staff was awesome. We went w the club/ the breakfast bowl and the burger. All equally delicious. The chili oil on the breakfast bowl was FANTASTIC! We will return on our next visit.

Came to S & S for lunch with a friend . It's a unique blend of coffee shop and resy so might be hard to get a seat due to the digital workers lol . Decor is casual yet cool and they have beers as well . Our salads were great as well as the fries - truly unique place and highly recommended!

Came here for the Swine & Sons restaurant not realizing they share the pace with a Foxtail coffee and Kelly's ice cream shop. The whole building is called the Milkhouse. Had a burger, it was pretty good.

Looking around after the game, a smash burger sounded like just the thing we needed. Ambiance was nice. Good, chill vibes, a random door to a random next-door bar. Plenty of viable seating for my party of six. Service was pretty ok. The front counter worker was nice enough, but the food took forever to come out. Much longer than I would expect for the products we ordered. The food itself was dynamite. I got the Papi Big Mak (Two Florida-raised beef patties, smashed onions, lettuce, American cheese, sweet-heat pickles, tostone "Middle Bun" , Papi Mak sauce, Sesame Martin Potato Roll). This was a fun thing. The patties had a good crisp to them. The totstone did not, though, so it got a little lost in the bite and chew. Needed more sauce. And that sesame seed bun really helped out a lot, too. A little extra texture in every bite. I was a fan. I also got the chance to try the Umami Papi (Two Florida-raised beef patties, crispy bacon, white cheese, sweet-heat pickles, crispy onion, raspberry jam, Uuuumami truffle sauce, sesame buns). This one was a better topping combination. The pickles had a nice pop of acid, the raspberry jam really stood out, adding a nice sweetness, and the truffle sauce, never thought I needed it on a burger. I did. Standout burger. I also got the Papis Loco Fries. I forget exactly what these fries were topped with, but the cheese, just look at it. Congealed just perfectly. A good side item, for sure. Overall, this greasy meal is out there doing the good work for the people. Maybe this was a four star meal overall, but I'm not sitting, that Umami Papi was a standout for me, and the reason I now give five stars.

Nice, crispy edges on the patties, and I loved how many sesame seeds were on the buns. Great flavor. Cons: The only thing was that they waited for our whole party's order to be ready before calling names, instead of just serving them as they came. This lead to cold burgers. Tips: Make sure you arrive early! If you wait too long, they switch to a smaller, less interesting menu.

They offer beef, chicken, Impossible, and veggie patties, along with a wide variety of cheeses and buns to choose from. My Impossible Burger was tasty, but I'm not sure it quite justified the price. On our first visit, I got a very impressive looking shake loaded with toppings, unfortunately it wasn't on the menu this time around. To my surprise, I was disappointed by the food. I got the loaded frings and a 5 x 5 burger. I believe the burger is relatively new, since it wasn't on any of the pictures of their menu on Google. Ambiance: The staff was friendly enough and I do like the fact that you can see them cooking the burgers in front of you. However, looking around at the restaurant, it looks like there was no upkeep. There were broken tiles, tables weren't cleaned, and I believe there might have been mold when I was filling my water cup at the ice machine, like visibly on the spout. Food: Loaded frings- I'm not sure how you mess this one up, but they somehow did it. The fries were overcooked and the bacon was fried to hell. I think you can actually see how burnt the bacon was in the pictures. It tasted like charcoal. Lastly, the fries were completely soaked in cheese sauce, which I'm guessing was from a can. It tasted like the cheese you'd have at state fairs, except more watery. There was more sauce than fries and onion rings! I should have taken a picture after eating half of the fries. I could not eat the bottom half of the frings because it was all soggy Burger- the same cooked-to-hell bacon was used on the burger. Not much else need to say about that. Looking at the picture of the burger, you'd think that the patties were way overcooked as well. That was not entirely the case. The patties weren't extra dry, but they weren't as juicy as I would have liked a burger to be. I'd say it was just okay. Maybe a half step below average. I really wanted to like this place, but I wasn't able to. I'm not sure if I came by on an odd day, because the reviews say otherwise. I really hope management can fix these issues.

The resturant inside was very clean, and the employees working behind the counter were very nonchalant. I ended up ordering their grilled chicken sandwich combo with their famous skinny fries. My mom got the Freddy's Original double combo with a Turtle milkshake and onion rings. The sandwich portion was big. The chicken was very juicy and tasted alright. The fries, however, were not seasoned. I had to get a salt and pepper packet to season them. At that point, they were very good, tasty, and crispy! Overall, the meal was okay. It was nothing spectacular but also nothing terrible either. As for my mom, she wasn't very impressed with her hamburger. She said the portion size was good, but she would describe the hamburger itself as "lacy." She said it was okay, but since it took us 27 minutes to get here, she said Culver's was better in quality and closer. She was underwhelmed by the onion rings. She said it was more of the fried breading and barely any onion inside. However, she did enjoy her milkshake, but struggled to suck it up through the straw. Now this review has nothing to do with that my father's name was Freddy and that my mother's favorite treat was frozen custard. But those little tidbits of information don't hurt. The warm feeling that I get when I eat frozen custard reminiscent of enjoying it on the boardwalk with my mom is renewed at Freddy's not because of the ambience of the restaurant, but because of that same delicious taste that my mind still seems to remember from long ago that I have not found anywhere else before this. But I digress. Freddy's may look like your typical fast food restaurant, but it is anything but. I already loved it for the burgers, the french fries with their wonderful sauce, and of course, the custard but now they have a salad as well. Really fresh greens with my favorite burger on top as a garnish. Low-carb great taste and totally filling. But not so filling as to not leave room for that wonderful custard. On this particular visit, I did run into an issue which I will not lower my rating because of, but want people aware of so it does not happen to them. If you have a coupon for a discounted custard, and they ring in any other item after that, it will restore the custard to the full price on their register. I did not notice that and paid the full price. The manager did give me a card for a free custard next visit so they certainly took responsibility but just wanted people aware to keep an eye on that. In defense of the staff, I don't think they noticed either that it had occurred, so I did not allow that to detract from my impression of five star service from their pleasant, friendly and attentive staff Of course the custard is a star. It comes in all sorts of different ways to serve it. I tend to usually be a purist indeed, as a soft serve, but sometimes their specials are so exciting that I cannot resist. I have never tasted any of them that I did not find awesome. Their steakburgers should not be left as an afterthought. These are not like other fast food burgers; the meat is actually very tasty and because there's not any "proprietary" seasonings on it I even order an extra one so that I can sit outside with my puppy and she can enjoy it. It is small enough to not be unhealthy for her and big enough to be a satisfying snack. Its fat content does not make her ill like the typical fast food burger would. I personally like the fries and find the sauces to be quite good. Prices are more than reasonable and they have hours that make them convenient whenever you're hungry or craving that custard fix. I am a Freddy's fan and wish they would open one closer to where I live in Miami.
