Goat cheese burger and fried Oreos. Such heaven!! We went to Tasty Tuesday's in the milk district in Orlando to find this food truck. My favorite so far. The truck owners/cooks are always so polite. They also give you plenty of napkins! Believe me you will need them for this juicy goodness. I had "Rachel's goat cheeseburger" It was delicious with the perfect amount of balsamic glaze. I also had the fried Oreos. My husband had the "Magical Mushroom" he loved it. Burgers cooked to perfection. Both burgers came with a side of yummy fries. They are also HUGE so you get your money's worth. My plans for the next burger is to try their "GC Luther" which is a doughnut burger. Never had a doughnut burger so interested to give it a shot! I highly recommend this food tuck. If you go to their website they have a calendar that says where they will be that week. Treehousetruck.com Thanks Treehouse for the amazing dinner!

My brain has become hardwired to pick out a UPS or FedEx truck in my peripheral vision in hopes that it's a food truck. Sort of like the anticipation of seeing what you think is a good friend of yours in the distance. Then you realize it's just a stranger who bare their resemblance once you squint your eyes a bit more. On the way home from work, I noticed a white truck taking a right from Bennett onto Colonial. I did a triple take when I realized that it wasn't a FedEx truck but a Tree House food truck! Sweet, another foodmobile hits the scene in Orlando! When I got home, I did a quick Google search and came across their Twitter site to find they had perched themselves at the Ferncreek/Colonial Chevron gas station that so many other trucks have set up shop. Upon approach of the Tree House Truck, a tall gentleman by the name of Thomas came from within to greet my girlfriend and I with a warm welcome. He counseled us on their 10 oz. Tree House double burger, the Tree Trunk hot dog (a hot dog, burrito creation) and their Chimoo sandwich. The Chimoo was described as seasoned chicken, skirt steak, red cabbage coleslaw, sweet potato fries and mango barbecue sauce in between Pan Sabao (sweet bread). When he finished listing the ingredients, I immediately ordered up a Chimoo. While waiting for our sandwich, Thomas graciously came back out with a sample tray of their "Treedillas". Provolone, sauteed onion and chicken between flour and sun dried tomato tortillas. Topped with crusted Parmesan cheese. Simply delicious. Then the Chimoo was served to us in all it's glory. We were surprised to basically see a foot long sub, cut in half. Attempting to close the tray would result in a smashed sandwich. It was that big. Upon taking our first bite, it took seconds to express how flavorsome it was. Eyebrows were raised in surprise, smiles were stretched and a feeling of gratification took hold. A fabulous juxtaposition of sweet and savory flavors. The well seasoned chicken and skirt steak were savory contrasts to the vegetables represented by sweet potato fries and cool, crunchy red cabbage coleslaw. The Mango Barbecue sauce was another sweet and sour harmony within itself. Dessert? Forget about it. Deep fried Oreos, Twix, Reese's, or Kit Kats anyone? I'll definitely be back. Although the description of the burger sounded fantastic, I'm leaning toward the Tree Trunk Hot Dog out of sheer curiosity. Yesss! Chalk up another quality food truck addition to the Orlando scene. In addition to Twitter, they should have their website finalized soon. Be sure to bookmark www.treehousetruck.com.

    Best burger ever

Best burger I've had in my life. "But Krista, you've never had the best anything of your life ever." I know. I KNOW. This massive meat mound was a gigantic juicy jamboree of two beef patties, perfectly cooked and topped with grilled onions and mushrooms with fresh arugula and swiss cheese. The bun was soft and delicious and the whole thing was served with a heapin helpin of potato crisps. Not that they were even needed, but crisps are always nice. My husband had the chimoo which I was LUCKY enough to snag a bite of, as our mealtime aggression was in full force here today. I peeked up inside that truck to get a look at his facilities and was quite impressed by how clean and shiny everything was. I didn't feel like I was playing intestinal roulette. Awesome. Tell us more! Fried twinkies. He fried twinkies and covered them with powdered sugar. How do you win my heart? Right there. So good. If you've driven past this truck on 50 & Ferncreek and said to yourself "I wonder what that's all about, I should try it sometime" I recommend you listen to yourself. It's damn good. Inexpensive, friendly, quick, DELICIOUS and memorable. Go. Just go.

Chimoo is where it's at, everyone is correct! The skirt steak with chicken is just bursting with flavor and then the slaw and sweet potato fries, WOW! The brisket was a little chewy but man o man, I could just eat a plate full of this deliciously seasoned beef. The chicken was delightful too, loved the bun it was on. During your first visit, you MUST try their signature sammie! Burger - wow! It was double and so big I couldn't even fit it in my mouth. (insert joke) It was 2 patties full of flavor and the seasoning is so distinctive that it's in a league of it's own. I would like to try this seasoning on a filet! The density of the burger was a little overbearing so I am glad I shared it or else I wouldn't have been able to finish the entire thing. I am also a huge fan of cheddar and provolone so the American cheese was underwhelming. Overall though, def a great burger with pizzaz. Deep fried PBnJ - Yep, you read that right. It's a PBnJ sammie deep fried and then topped with powdered sugar. I could not order an entire one out of the pure fact that I would be embarrassed walking around with 3 things and one of them coated in whatever this is coated in ;) Luckily, there was an extra order and they cut it up and had everyone in line taste it so we all equally shared the delicious guilt. It was not what I expected, the flavors were not overtaken by the way it was prepared, I still enjoyed the creamy PB and tasty jelly. I would recommend sharing one with someone so you can experience this creation. Cash only and be prepared to wait as everything is prepared fresh, score! The customer service is top notch too, adore that!

Was on my way home from Redlight Redlight and spotted this truck. Told the bf to pull over, as it was a serious matter. I figured the least we could do was get desert considering we just ate dinner. We did. I ordered the fried Twix. Yes, fried Twix. While we were waiting the owner (?) gave us a fried Oreo. It was aawwweeesooomme. Then he brought out their burger for a customer that was waiting. He let me take a picture of it because it looked pretty epic. Then not only did he bring out our Twix but said they were on the house! Then he brought us two more! He said that it was their opening day and just wanted to test em out on us. Lucky for us. They were freaking amazing. I can feel my arteries clogging right now as I write this. I can't wait to go back and try their other stuff. They have a "Chimoo" Sandwich which is chicken and beef. Get it? Mooooo....haha. Ok. They also have a fried hot dog.

Deep fried PBJ w/ apricot jam and nutella

I've been eyeing the deep-fried PBJ ever since I saw it on their menu. I was always hesitant to order it since it's probably 1,000 calories, but my sweet tooth just couldn't be denied anymore. It was AMAZING!!! The funnel cake flavor, mixed with the chocolate hazelnut and apricot was perfect. And since I already went down the deep-fried road, I figured I might as well get the fried Twinkies too. Also AMAZING! About halfway through eating these gifts from the deep-fried gods, I went into a food coma and can't remember anything else. Maybe ordering both of those together was a bad idea...oh well, it was totally worth it. Excuse me, I need to go run a marathon to burn off all of those calories...

Since we abandoned ship once we saw the lines at the Food Truck Bazaar last night, we decided to fill the void by seeking out the Tree House Truck for lunch today. A lot has already been said here so I will make this one short "ish". There were three of us so we ordered three things to share and sample among us - a chimoo, a burger and a hotdog. We all agreed that the burger was the star. The sweet, soft bun along with the complex spice blend and mango BBQ sauce give this burger it's own unique and delicious signature appeal. It was flavorful, juicy and satisfying. The chimoo was also quite tasty. The "chi" cken was well seasoned and moist but the "moo" skirt steak was the stand out here - tender, marinated yumminess. I would love a sandwich of that alone - sooo good. The huge belly buster style hot dog was good and the fact that is was served inside a wrap rather than a roll made for a unique presentation. But it came in last on our Treehouse truck hit parade and was far surpassed by the burger and chimoo. For dessert Thomas the owner and genuinely nice guy and his cook (whose name I neglected to learn - sorry) treated us to a decadent sampling of some deep fried oreos AND as if that wasn't enough some deep fried bread pudding. Lordy - just crank up the speed on that treadmill and start working out now. If you are excited about this growing Orlando area food truck scene (and from the size of the crowd last night many of your are) get out there and check these guys out too. Keep on truckin'!

Ate lunch @TREEHOUSETRUCK mega delicious skirt steak and chicken sub with coleslaw and sweet potato sticks it's called the Chimoo sandwich The chicken quesadilla with sun dried tomato tortilla was very good as well. I've been hearing that their burger is a masterpiece I have to try it. The fried oreos and twinkies were double yum. On weekends day times they are usually at colonial and ferncreek where Crooked Spoon is M-F and they are also at Firestone Live downtown most nights when there is a concert or event. check out my food truck guide for updates: http://eatlocalorlando.blogspot.com/2011/03/orlando-food-truck-list-complete.html

Burger with Parmesan & Truffle Fries

This by far is one of our favorite food trucks. We stumbled upon it at Tasty Tuesdays in the Milk District and have been a fan ever since. From fresh made food to friendly people and good prices for the food & quality you receive. We have yet to be disappointed with anything we have tried so far. My first recommendation is their Luther burger, which is probably all your calories for the week, but definitely worth it! Its a bacon cheese burger sandwiched between 2 donuts, it may sound weird, but surprisingly delicious. Another favorite are their Parmesan & truffle oil fries, which are addictive. Their burgers are huge and well worth the money. Their Philly's are awesome with a soft bread inside and crunchy outside, tons of meat & onions with a cheese sauce, a little messy, but worth it. Overall hands down one of the best food trucks in Orlando! If you love great food and looking for something to satisfy all, then try them out, you wont be disappointed!

Rachel's Goat Cheese Burger and fries!
    Erica V.

Pretty damn good! I got the Goat Cheese Burger with a side of fries. I love goat cheese so whenever I see it on the menu, I order it. I love how they made it like more as a sauce smothered on rather than crumbles on top. There was more thought into it. The goat cheese sauce made the burger more flavorful, very garlicky which I love. It does linger. The fries were super crispy and they gave an ample portion. The service was pretty quick as well, about 8-10 minutes till my order was ready. The only thing is I kinda wish they had the option of cooking the burger medium rare, but I get why they cook it well done. I would recommend!

    Luther Vandross
    Alyx K.

Deep-fried madness. I'm presenting: Exhibit A: The Luther Vandross. Bacon cheeseburger sandwiched between two Krispy Kreme donuts. Of all the food-truck items I've tried in Orlando, this is the one that seems most inspired by Man v. Food, and at the Food Truck Bazaar last weekend, most whom ordered it seemed to be regarding it with a combination of bemusement and, in a few cases, intimidation - and most were ordering it to share with a group. Given the amount of sugar in a lot of commercially produced hamburger buns these days, I'm not sure wrapping a burger in Krispy Kremes is that extreme now. But, it's good fun. Exhibit B: Deep-fried, heavily battered Twinkies. I was first introduced to this concept at the Swank Frank in Chicago, which I believe has, sadly, been replaced by a Bank of America (from fat to fatcats?) Treehouse's version is more heavily battered and just as delicious. They are great on their own, but when dipped into some blueberry preserves from the Big Wheel truck, became to-die-for. In addition to the food, I'd like to give these guys kudos for getting their Food Truck Bazaar process down to a science. Yes, all of the trucks had extensive lines, but this truck managed the process much better than most. There was a dedicated frying stand set up separate from the main line for those just after Twinkies and Oreos, multiple staff took orders from those in line and overall, things moved along much faster than expected.

The Hotness! Half of it, anyway!

No, but is any food these days? The fresh homemade pita was like an edible fluffy pillow and the shawarma was delicious! We also really enjoyed the cucumber & tomato salad. I appreciated the chicken schnitzel that my son had was very flavorful and not your dry bland chicken strips that many kids chicken fingers orders often are. I would like to try other hummus on the menu. I ordered the regular and it was good, but not as good as I had hoped for a place called the Hummus Guy. I love hummus but also I am no expert by any means, so try it yourself and let me know if I am off base. I recommend trying and hope to see the Hummus Guy in Maitland for a long time!

French fry heaven! I know that's actually a place in st Augustine, sorry but I had to say it. We…read moregot some burgers (a traditional one and the Japanese steakhouse one) but the fries are King. We super over ordered each getting a burger and a gourmet fry but I wouldn't regret it just to try it now and know for the future. I enjoyed my taco fries immensely. I swapped the side of sour cream for ranch (I am still that Midwesterner at heart) and ended up not using it at all, the cheesy nacho sauce with the taco meat and tomatoes is a great combination to throw on some delicious freshly fried fries. I thoroughly enjoyed it but I do LOVE nacho cheese. My husband's fry of choice was the Japanese steakhouse fries. Melted cheese, mushrooms, peppers and thinly sliced steak served with a drizzle of the white/yum yum/shrimp sauce you see at hibachi places combined for a scrumptious combination. My husband could not put it down, he likely would've asked for a side of the sauce because he's a huge fan of it. The burgers were good but I didn't eat mine because I was too engrossed in my fries but my husband finished it for me. Everything was a little pricey but I know with food trucks that's a reality. Would definitely eat there again and likely just stick to a fry order or a burger not both. Side note they accept cards and you should probably go to their website to see where they are currently parked :)

The fries had a good crispness and fresh tasting. The buffalo chicken fries had a large amount of chicken in them with a generous amount of sauce a good amount of cheese. It came with a side of ranch that went well with the buffalo sauce. The cheese steak fries came with what it seemed like a whole steak in it and a some grilled onions and peppers. Came with a good amount of provolone cheese. The portion in it was honestly enough for 2 people to eat and still both be full. The price for the mix fries was $12 but when you looked at how much food you got it was not a bad price at all
