There is something to be said for integrity and superior professionalism. This is the 2nd review I am writing for Lance of Irrigation Repair Services and it is well deserved! I am fairly new to Arizona and had been having a really tough time finding a landscaping company that would show up consistently and wouldn't try to price gouge me. I had a bad experience with such a company that actually charged my card $280, without my consent, to fix my "broken and outdated" irrigation timer. After that horrible experience and a still broken timer, I prayed, threw caution to the wind and picked I.R.S (Irrigation Repair Services) quite honestly based solely on the clever name. I called the number and left a message and was called back within 5 minutes. Something which I hadn't experienced here before. Lance was very courteous and informative and told me he would be out to my house that very day! He also gave me an estimated time and a quick call when he was en route. Anywho, long story short, he explained to me that my (get a load of this) water valve had been shut off as well as the timer! He also switched out something underground and programmed my timer for me. For this very reason, I immediately called him again today when I had a slight problem. I did all the things he taught me previously and still wasn't sure if I had a problem. Lance is the only person I would trust to give me a straight and honest answer and truly look out for me which is why I give his info to anyone looking for great customer service. He knows the true meaning of having a loyal client, he is not out to cheat anyone. Our family was in the middle of a remodel and our contractor had a friend install a new irrigation system. Well we experiences several problems with their work and after several failed attempts to correct all the problems, we asked our local nursery people who they would recommend to talk to about irrigation system services. They told us to call Lance at Irrigation Repair Services. Lance came out to the house and gave us a complete assessment of the situation. We had only asked him to give us his opinion about what was needed to be done. We were going to have the original contractor repair the problems...but after talking with Lance and hearing him walk us through all of the shortcomings of what was originally installed...I asked him if he could go ahead and do the work. We were having an issue with our irrigation system on our main line. The pressure vacuum breaker was humming making a terrible noise. I was referred to Lance from Creative Paradise. I called Lance and he came right out. We were getting a second opinion from him after having a plumber out that morning telling us about our pressure vacuum breaker...well Lance then discover our irrigation system was on a constant drip. He explained everything to me and my husband...took apart the parts and helped us fix the leak. We are thankful for all his hard work and honesty during our troubleshooting problem. Our pressure vacuum system didn't not need to be completely cut out like the plumber had said. Lance can rebuild it for a fraction of the price. I contacted IRS via their "Contact Me" section on the website at 10pm on a Sunday and received a call at 7:45am on Monday on my way to work. A+ for promptness! David was at my house by 11:45am and diagnosed the problem quickly. He spoke to me on the phone to let me know what needed to be done, then also showed my wife what the problem was and what he would fix. I wasn't home, but my wife said he was very professional and definitely didnt waste any time....he was finished in about 45 minutes. Overall great service and a quick repair....hopefully there wont be any other issues, but on the off chance there is, they warranty parts & labor for a year. Super Happy! I purchased a new Orbit Irrigation Timer in January which Lance installed and programmed. A few weeks ago, I attempted to make a change to the watering schedule and really messed it up. I tried multiple times to go through the manual and also calling Orbit's tech support several times, but nothing seemed to fix it and my plants were suffering! Finally, I called Lance thinking I would just have him come out to fix it for me. But he helped me immediately over the phone to quickly and easily get the system working correctly again and he helped me understand what I was doing wrong. This company went above and beyond with customer service. I had a drip line leak in the front yard and Omar who handles the southeast valley stopped by our house on his way home to fix our leak. Omar had worked all day and made a point of stopping by and then showing us how he was going to fix our leak and then showed us the finished product by turning on our water to show everything was in working order. Adrianna who answered the phone call had exceptional customer service and was very attentive and understanding to our needs. Had Lance and crew replace our entire system in November'19. They did a great job and everything worked well. Today I discovered a zone not shutting off properly and gave Lance a call. He came right out and figured out quickly that some solder was stuck in a zone valve. Probably from when I had some work done by plumbers after the irrigation install, which Lance says can be common. He didn't charge me for the visit and fix even though this was not any fault of his crews work and not a warranty issue! Would highly recommend their services to anyone needing irrigation work! I had my landscape lighting installed by Lance about a year age, so when my son who usually fixes any problems with the drip system, told me it was above his pay grade I called I.R.S. Ashley was very professional and set up an appointment for 2 days ahead. Omar called a few minutes after the window of the appointment started to tell me he was 10 minutes away. He arrived and promptly diagnosed thr problems. He fixed everything within a half hour and left me with a few spare parts. Some valves in our sprinkler system in both our front and backyard were leaking. IRS responded to my request for an estimate quickly. They're pricing was competitive but more importantly they were totally transparent on what to expect, efficiently scheduled the repair, and completed the work on time. The work they had to do ended up being more extensive than their estimate, but the took full responsibility and honored their price (even though it was simply an estimate). I had a major water leak in my yard irrigation. I called IRS because I had used them one other time for a similar emergency. They sent David out to fix the leak and analyze my system. He was able to find the leak and repaired without destroying my grass. Quality, effective, and professional work and was there on time. I had a very good experience with Dave from IRS. I needed to have the main drip lines replaced under my driveway. They run through a sleeve. Dave showed me they use a much thicker drip line then was originally installed. The wall of the drip line they use is three or four times thicker Then what you find at Home Depot etc. He charged what he quoted. Dave was happy to have me watch while I worked and didn't even charge extra for my help :-) I was very pleased and would highly recommend you consider him if needing services. read more

My irrigation line broke coming directly out of the house.. Lance was incredibly helpful and was able to provide next day service to make all the repairs. I did much of the prep work (digging and cutting) as well as all the infill when the work was completed and because of this Lance provided me with a bit of a discount - much appreciated. Had David from IRS come and work on a problem with our irrigation. David's been out a few times over the years and has always provided excellent service. He walks through what he wants to do and WHY (this is important). He does a great job AND cleans up afterwards leaving our yard looking mostly untouched .
