Blackened Salmon with Roasted Cali Veggies
    Chrissy L.

The Blackened Salmon with Roasted Cali Veggies prepared meal from Mother's Market was a convenient, easy meal that still felt healthy. Great option for a quick lunch or dinner when you don't feel like cooking. The parking lot is very busy and finding a spot takes a few circles.

Be sure to check they apply advertised discounts When they scan the item, the arbitrary "30% off" sticker is no more than a sales gimmick.

The 30% off stickers are deceiving. This is the second time I didn't remind the cashier that the fruit says 30% off and to please apply the discount.

Parking is plentiful. The food is delicious and prices are reasonable. But the prices for the groceries are expensive. The service was ok since there's only one waitress so be prepared to wait. Ambiance is unique because you're inside a grocery store. Enjoy.

Mother's Market in Irvine is my second-favorite grocery store after Whole Foods, but really kind of tied with Sprouts! The frozen and fresh organic berries, cherries, pomegranate seeds, and other healthy fruits are fairly priced and always readily available, which is perfect, because I tend to not eat enough healthy fruits like these and Whole Foods doesn't have as nice a selection as Mother's Market does in my opinion. The smoothie bar is also super awesome! There are also amazing $6 burritos made in-house during the day and I got their grass-fed carne asada with rice, beans, and cheese the other day and it was totally a great deal. The Mamma Chia drinks packed with chia seeds are also about $1 cheaper here than they are at Whole Foods, which is great. Lastly, they have black garlic here still in the whole garlic plant and it's amazing for health. I love coming here for my grocery shopping needs, especially if I'm looking for something other places may not have as readily.

What an awesome grocery store & cafe. Love this place. The market has such great variety and selection. Love that they have testers available for the personal care products because I personally love a really thick face moisturizer and a lot that I try are quite thin. So it was nice to test the texture and feel. I actually found one that I liked enough to buy. Service was fantastic. The person ringing up our stuff was very nice, chatty and friendly.

Review for Zach at the Juice Bar - Mother's Market I just wanted to take a moment to shout out an absolute gem of an employee Zach (or Zack) at the juice bar inside Mother's Market. This young man embodies everything you'd hope for in customer service: incredible work ethic, unwavering positivity, and a genuine care for every person who walks up to the counter. He's not just making smoothies he's creating an experience. His energy is contagious, his attention to detail is unmatched, and he handles every order with care and enthusiasm. In a world where good service can be hard to find, Zach stands out in the best way possible. To management: give this man a raise or a promotion seriously. People like him are the reason customers like me keep coming back. He's helping your business flourish, and more importantly, he's making the world a better place one smoothie at a time. This generation needs more Zachs. Thank you, Zach, for being awesome!

Greeeattt place to come and grab organic food/ snacks. Juices are either easy to grab or have made for you. Fresh food selection is perfect if you need something quick to bring back home for meal preps. Workers are attentive & always willingly glad to help you with questions or find items for you.

I bought 2 filets which were 2/$25 advertised on the price tag where I grabbed them. After working a 10 hour shift I paid and went home. I didn't realize but they charged me $20 each filet. I called to see if they would fix the error and they told me bring the steaks back and receipt. I live in LA so that's not happening I work in Irvine once a month. By the time I bring the steaks back out of the fridge and get the correct price of the store in LA which is far from me...I don't want the steaks anymore at that point. Terrible and non helpful manager when their system/employee made an error. It's 2025 it's not hard to change a transaction when you've made an error.

Carina and Sobeida provide superb customer service at the kitchen area. They go far and beyond in making our regular breakfast here a pleasant experience here at the Irvine location. Thank you Mothers for hiring such great employees.

I spent about $14 for an açai bowl their tropical mango bowl I believe. I had some modifications since I didn't like the raw coconut offering or the banana so I opted for sliced almonds and extra mango with almond butter on top. After waiting a few minutes, looking at the bowl, it didn't look like much and sadly it didn't taste like much either. The almond butter was globed on top and made it really difficult to eat. After bypassing the almond butter I was able to get into the açai which was way too sweet. I'm not sure what type of açai they use, but it did not taste like a freshly prepared açai it tasted more artificial and overly sweet. It may have also been sweet because of the honey I believe they put on top of it. The combination of the açai with the honey and then almond butter was way too sweet. The mango was OK not as firm as I would want it to be and the granola was at the bottom at the bowl and also sprinkled on top, but unfortunately it was the worst acai bowl I've ever had. Parking is free and they do offer a few seats inside. The staff was also really nice but unfortunately, if I do decide to come back maybe I'll try a smoothie instead.

The location is small and they recently took out the interior tables too. They haven't changed their overall look in a while, which is somewhat comforting. I'm actually reviewing this for the Earl Grey Milk Tea but here is my all go-to's. Karate Chicken - 5 Star- If I'm even the slightest bit hungry we get an order. We've gone with #2 spice for years, very good heat that builds slowly. Crunchy, juicy and actually seasoned, this is what I compare other "popcorn" chicken to. Watermelon Heaven - 5 Star - This is a seasonal drink but they use fresh watermelon blended with ice for an amazing slushie. I get it "1/2 Sweet" when I order. iI's the best drink for hot weather. Black Iced Tea - 3 Star - I'm particular about the types of black tea that I consider good. The stronger the better, so Tastea black tea is on the light side for me. Earl Grey Milk Tea - 5 Star - I'm not sure if this is in their rotation but it just became my new favorite. The Earl Grey flavor is very forward and the non dairy creamer as the standard was perfect. .

Don't expect a lot in terms of greetings or small talk but, then again that's the norm with the younger generation so no big deal. I know Irvine has a ton of Boba spots, but if you're looking for a trusted solid recommendation, Tastea is the way to go!

The standout was the King Jasmine Guava. The jasmine tea was incredibly fragrant, and the red guava added the perfect amount of sweetness without overpowering the tea. It was so good that I came back the next day just to order it again. This is an easy 10/10 and a must-try. I also really enjoyed the Pistachio Cloud Jasmine Coconut. The floral jasmine tea paired well with the nutty, slightly salty pistachio foam, while the coconut water kept everything light and refreshing. It was unique and well balanced. The Coconut Mango Blue reminded me of mango sago. It was creamy, refreshing, and enjoyable, although I couldn't taste much of the tea because the mango and coconut flavors were more dominant. My least favorite was the Guava Green Grape. I could barely taste the grape, and the guava was a little too sour for my preference. It wasn't bad, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Overall, I was really impressed with the quality of the teas and how fresh everything tasted. If you're visiting for the first time, I'd highly recommend the King Jasmine Guava. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
