The newest boba shop in UTC. The interior is soo cute & the workers are v sweet. I ordered the guava peach and loved it. It was refreshing, perfectly blended, and had a strong guava flavor. There were real fruit bits at the bottom of the drink.

Very popular place among Uci students. The lines are out of the door. I was excited to see that they offer crepes on top of boba drinks. The pictures looked very inviting but the actual crepe looked sad lol it was Tiiiiiny and overly sweet. Got mango crepe and it was not memorable. Mango tasted like from the can and the sticky rice was all the way on the bottom. It was not that good

Another boba shop at UTC but they also have crepes! Banana matcha was on the sweeter side even with the "less sweet" adjustment. I personally like my matcha to be on the stronger side, so to me, this drink was a little lacking of that. The banana cream was very good and pairs well with the matcha. Because of the sweetness of the banana, I personally would get this drink with "no sweet/sugar" next time. Guava Peach is a blended guava drink with peach bits. I got this with "no sweet/sugar". This drink is very refreshing. It was a bit icy at the beginning but my drink melted after sitting in my office and it was still great. Crepes smelled amazing but I didn't get a chance to try. Perhaps next time. Customer service was ok lol. They were there to do their job and didn't go out of their way to do anything beyond that. They seem to be a little co fused when I asked them if Guava Peach was a blended drink and they were like "no it's not and then said oh it is actually" lol. Like did yall not learn what you are selling? The store itself is small (they replaced Pink Pig). I think I waited about 10 minutes to order and another 10-15 minutes to receive my drink but granted they were quite busy during lunch hour.

super cute! took over the old pink pig and gave everything a whole makeover. the area was really cute with lots of seating for the space. would be a good study spot after the opening rush dies down! it was super busy when i came but drinks came out in about 10 minutes or less! staff were polite as well :) mango sticky rice smoothie was really good, though i recommend getting 75% (as someone who usually gets their drinks 75-100%). mango flavor wasn't artificial and there were sticky rice and mango bits at the bottom. def coming back to try a crepe!

I came here to get a caffeine fix. The lady at the cashier was seemed very knowledgeable about the menu and what's in their drinks. Per her recommendation, I ordered a dirty milk tea, and I got it at 75% sweet. The drink came out within a few minutes of me ordering. I'm glad I lessened the sweetness because the boba is very sweet! It's a solid drink, as it's essentially a boba milk tea with a cream top. I would get the old school drinks, but I'm not sure if they offer other toppings. Inside of the shop was pretty clean, and the music isn't too loud or annoying (unless you despise pop music). I would consider this a good study spot, as the chairs are pretty comfortable.

Wow what a cute store! I got here on their first day soft opening. I ordered the sesame cloud, it tastes so good! The workers there are so friendly too.

The Mango Mochi was amazing! Fresh mango, soft chewy mochi, and the perfect amount of sweetness. I'll definitely be ordering this again.

Owly Tea & Crepe is one of my favorite spots for both drinks and desserts! The crepes are absolutely delicious, especially the Mango Sticky Rice flavor--it has the perfect balance of sweetness and fresh mango flavor, and the texture is amazing. Their drinks are always refreshing and well-made. My personal favorite is the Black Sesame Cloud, which has a rich, nutty flavor and a smooth, creamy finish that's unlike anything else. Great quality, friendly service, and consistently tasty treats. Highly recommend!

The banana matcha boba that I got was really good, the banana flavor tasted great. The brown sugar was good as well. I like their little owl guys, they are pretty cute

The Strawberry Cream Smoothie was so good, fresh, and full of flavor. The cashier, I'm pretty sure his name was Deano, provided great customer service. He was friendly, helpful, and made the experience even better. I'll definitely be coming back!

Great crepes and drinks, some of the nicest staff imaginable for new workers and also they were quick as well. The place has great seats and lovely decor.

    Old School Crepe

I'm allergic to nuts. I ordered the old school crepe and told them to take out the Nutella because I'm allergic. After ordering, I further confirmed there is no Nutella due to a severe nut allergy. My receipt also said "No Nutella". When I received my food, I was extremely disappointed and concerned that it contained Nutella. I'm concerned that this will happen to another person with a nut allergy and won't be as lucky as to check beforehand.

I also noticed a fire place and a Television outside. Aside from their great coffee and Tea menu, they offer daily pastries, refreshments, small bites and coffee bean bags to go. I had the Horchata Latté with oat milk (available hot or cold). It was really good. It is made with 2 shots of their signature espresso with a house-made horchata syrup or base, steamed or iced milk, and a dusting of cinnamon. You could taste the quality of the coffee. They've got a self-ordering kiosk, or you can chat with someone at the register, which is what I did since I wanted some opinions on teas and coffee beans. They've got a pretty good selection of swag including loose leaf teas, various coffee beans, brewing gear, clothing, and other items. And they've got an RTE case too. Plenty of space inside and outside to sit, and the outside seating area has umbrellas, shade, and even a giant Jenga-style game. I asked for some recommendations for tea and was pretty let down. They only had 3 available, and 2 were ones I could find pretty much anywhere else (Earl Grey and...English Breakfast, I think?). I asked for any unique ones and they had a lavender one, which I ended up trying. It was okay, nothing special. Very floral. I also asked for recommendations for beans that are not too acidic and had the Darkside suggested because it's their darkest roast. I'm excited to grind it up and try it!

Despite being relatively close to two major colleges - OCC and UCI - this place wasn't as crowded as you'd imagine it would be. They serve coffee, matcha, breakfast foods like breakfast burritos, protein bowls, avocado toasts - but I didn't pick anything to eat since I already had lunch. I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form. It wasn't overly sweet, definitely had a nice kick to it - love this recommendation by the barista! I checked out the rest of the space and used their restroom to wash my hands - it's really a neat space here. Lots of seating. Lots of space. There's an adjacent room that's connected to the cafe called "Flow Space" - which is utilized for small popups and arts & crafts. Neat spot for smaller community members to showcase their wares. Some of the other reviews mentioned no a/c - which had me worried considering we were having a bit of a heatwave lately - but to my pleasant surprise, A/C was on and cold! It was a great escape from the heat. Free wifi - fast enough for a zoom call if you need to hop into one - my speedtest reported download speeds of 17.5MB/s Restroom is clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking - of course, I stopped by a little after 2pm, so already avoiding the tail end of the lunch rush. Only downside is they close kinda early - 4pm - but open up at 7am. Great spot! Will probably be my go-to considering there's ample workspace, plenty of parking, less crowded than other coffee spots in the immediate area. I'm curious to try their matcha the next time I'm here, as well as possibly their breakfast burritos, since photos for that looks delicious.

It is so good but I never finish it haha because it is big. Totally worth to try. They have large tables which are perfect to host coworking sessions or just to come and work. I think I've only had like a small instance where the internet got a little slow but other than that this is a pleasant spot to visit. You can also rent a study/conference room from the church. I sent a message before because I needed a spot to do my final oral exam virtually. There is a small fee but unfortunately no one got back to me. There is a QR code that takes you to a site where you fill out a form to request the space. Now, these requests are handled specifically by the church not the coffee spot. Although it is in the same area. The staff is super friendly. The restrooms are always clean. Handicap friendly. Not necessarily kid friendly because a lot of people come here to study and work, and its also all concrete and hazards for the small ones, but I have seen people do like babies on strollers type of gathering.

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte.
