I came inside asking if I could wash my hands due to checking the oil and said customers aren't allowed to use the sink and offered me wipes with sassy attitude. I don't want wipes I want to wash my hands with soap and water not rely on another throw away product heading to a landfill. And the fact I can't use the sink is really crazy.

In general the staff over the years has turned over a lot but i can't think of anyone that really wasn't friendly or helpful. Price at the pump isn't great but isn't terrible either, would prefer going this way to the station in Antrim.

They also have made to order deli selections and the staff prepares some excellent food. Service at Jake's deli's/Irving gas stations is generally excellent. The people in the staff try to ensure customer satisfaction. This Jake's is relatively new, after having been completely rebuilt after an unfortunate fire several years ago. You probably wonder why I've given them only two stars after a laudatory verbal description. I did so because of their lack of preparedness for the COVID-19 pandemic. I came in to order sandwiches and there was not one single customer wearing a mask, none of the staff except the cashier were wearing masks, there were no signs for social distancing, only one single sign outside of the door. If they had some measures in place in the middle of this pandemic, they would easily rate four stars. As it is right now, I would not recommend anyone to enter this Jake's deli except for a one or two minute visit.

Coming off of I-89 you get easy access to this location! Its not located in any city area. Its less than a half of mile off of 89. The gas prices are on the cheaper side! The rest rooms are very clean! They even offer a lot of pumps! So unless they are slammed with cars...Its a very easy in and out for a traveler on the go! They take credit cards or you have to prepay inside with cash. Store also offers snacks and drinks. Great 3/5! I have only been here one time. On my next trip down I will be stopping here for gas. This way when I get to Boston I wont have to fill up my car until I head out of Alewife!
