Slightly awkwardly waiting in the reception area while she juggles another client. Slightly disappointed at the lack of mindless magazines - No Self, Seventeen, Vogue or Glamour. Fortunately, there was Harpers Bazaar so I could catch up on Paris Hilton's latest. I did the face framing height lights - 8 foils but I think she gave me a few extra. Saved around $60 by skipping toner and a blow dry. Asked for thick highlights, and they looked a bit skinned but the stylist showed me how they were actually thick. She was right. She didn't show me my hair automatically at the end. I had to ask, but I did like what I saw.

The only thing I didn't know is not to wash my hair and arrive with it wet for an updo. you should arrive with clean, dry hair. Kendall shared it takes more time as now it had to be dried .. I offered to just do the blowout, but she was very sweet and OK with sticking to the updo plan. Both of our hairs receive lots of compliments at the wedding that night. After the total embarrassment I felt last week after being told to take time off from work and…read more come in for Kayla to re-tone my hair and do a conditioner to help with the broken hair Kayla had done to my bang area right in front of my face during a face framing in addition to the toner not taking - I know now it was 100% due to Kayla not leaving the toner on long enough,. I went into another salon and asked them for a conditioning treatment to help with my broken hair as well as I asked for an 8G toner to be put in. 8G is the color I have had previously at West Coast hair and had told Kayla I was happy with (read previous review). The toner was left in my hair for 20 minutes at the new salon (NOT due to me requesting any specific time frame for them to leave on, thats the time they naturally did!) and the conditioning treatment helped make the damaged hair less noticeable. Not only did Kayla make me take time off from work to go in and then do nothing the help correct the damage Kayla had caused, I was humiliated and berated being told that they could not help me when it is now 100% certain that Kayla did not leave it on as long as she had previously, and her overlapping the bleach caused the breakage. Avoid the embarrassment of being told it is your fault for not being able to put into words how to fix their stylists error of breaking my hair, and not leaving the toner in and making me feel it was my fault. Shame on the owner for the way she handled it, and shame on Kayla for not owning up and re toning and conditioning to fix her error.

Our adventure started with us running late due to an accident, and they were so understanding when we called to let them know we will be late. Personally, I always feel like crap when I'm late, so my anxiety level definitely increasing. But they quickly calmed me down when they genuinely asked if we were ok, thinking we were the ones in the accident, and told us to take our take and it was no problem at all. During their appointment, my wife was blown away at how friendly and kind everyone was. They even brought her over a little table to eat her food I dropped off for them. My daughter, who isn't too pleased with our move to Florida, even admitted she's happier with the results compared to her experience back home, which makes me thrilled. I returned to this salon for blonde highlights (bleach/foils) specifically because I had an…read moreexcellent experience with Victoria about two years ago--my results then were flawless. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. I clearly requested the same foiling pattern that had previously been used. Because I part my hair on the side, starting the foils along that part gave the best result. However, Victoria chose to use a different method and applied significantly fewer highlights than expected. It was very apparent that this was done to rush through my appointment while managing multiple other clients at the same time. The end result reflected that decision. My hair was noticeably over-processed, uneven, and poorly blended. I left with stark, white stripe-like sections down the middle and along both sides of my head--an outcome that looks unnatural and is difficult to conceal. This is not a subtle issue; it is a clear technical failure. The entire appointment felt rushed and lacking in care. The focus seemed to be on volume--fitting in as many clients as possible--rather than delivering quality work. This is a significant decline from the level of professionalism and attention to detail I experienced in the past. Victoria immediately acknowledged the problem and said she wanted to correct it, which made it clear she knew the result was unacceptable. However, that only reinforces that the issue was preventable and caused by poor execution and lack of attention during the service. I was also charged $220 for what was described as a 'partial' highlight, yet the coverage was far less than what is typically considered a 'partial' at most salons in the U.S. Charging a premium price for rushed, subpar work is extremely disappointing. To make matters worse, I am from out of town and was visiting on vacation, which made this situation even more difficult to handle. I am now left having to live with a poor color result for the remainder of my trip and will need to wait until I return home to have my regular stylist attempt to correct it. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution others against booking with Victoria if you expect careful technique, proper processing, and results that reflect the price being charged.

It is a lovely new salon that houses other hair stylists, massage therapists, barber shop, a botox spot and more. You can have a spa day all in one place. He has his own private room with a sink and styling chair. There is a huge mirror so you can see what's happening. He even has this fancy vacuum that sucks up all the hair. London is a fabulous hair stylist. He always listens to my vision and delivers exactly what I requested. My hair looks and feels fabulous after he finishes working his magic. I would absolutely recommend London for all your hair needs, from a cut, color and style. There are restrooms down the hall that are always clean.
