Salad came out, which I'm pretty sure was a grocery store based salad with old hard croutons presented in a tiny bowl. Strike 2. The chicken parm was seved over linguine drowning in a bland house tomato sauce. Chicken was bland but covered in cheese so that helped. Sadly the Alfredo was worse. A flour milk sauce with absolutely no flavor - even salt and pepper couldn't help it. Strike 3. And the price was $30-$32. For this kind of money, I expect much higher quality. The one bright spot was pur server Brad who tried his best despite the poor quality food. Plenty of other places in town that are 1000 times better quality for equal or less dollars.

It was cold, and they had a sign outside saying you could personalize your hot chocolate by choosing any of their 10 flavors. We had to check it out. As soon as you walk in, there's a big assortment of loose chocolate, candies, and treats. They have items for purchase on the wall that would make great gifts -for example a fondue kit. Towards the back, there's a truffle display. That's where you place your order. They have so many chocolate flavors. I chose the hazelnut praline for my hot chocolate and the crunchy hazelnut for a mini cone. Both were amazing. The chocolate for the cone is SO thick. You can bite through it and it's dense. It is a bit messy, so make sure to grab a bunch of napkins. The hot chocolate had whipped cream and marshmallows on top. It was exactly what I wanted on a cold night. Service was super friendly and helpful. They also let me taste different flavors before making my pick. While waiting, I enjoyed reading more about the history and commitment to farmers and sustainability on the corner wall.
