I worked with Adele beforehand to make all the arrangements as I am located in the US. She was very professional, provided full details about what would be included with the charter, and worked with me to build a custom schedule for my birthday. Communication beforehand was great, and we were blown away to find out they were offering an upgrade from the 35 ft Gagliotta to the 45 ft Tornado Express for our trip to Capri. Although I have no doubt every boat in Robbie's fleet is absolutely flawless. As expected, Rosa met us at the dock the morning of our departure and when we returned that evening to make sure we had everything we needed. The boat was absolutely gorgeous and the Captain, Eduardo, was simply the best! He was charming and engaging always making sure he stopped to show us the best places along the way and finding little coves for us to stop and swim, a waterfall, taking pictures for us at each spot, and taking us to the absolute best restaurants we ate at during our entire trip. He also made sure we had plenty of snacks and drinks throughout our trip and wanted for nothing. Little did I know that my friend had coordinated with Adele and team to make arrangements for our second trip - making sure that my favorite drinks were onboard, as well as a birthday cake, sparkler candles, a balloon and more! I spoke to Shana and she was straightforward, helpful, and priced fairly. She arranged for a boat to pick us up from lunch/beach at Griglio di Tiberio and take us to the grottos. I wish I had done this INSTEAD of taking a tour on one of the boats with other people. Since we had 8 in our party, it made much more sense to have a private captain (Capitan Enzo was friendly and relaxed - a good driver on a fast boat) who took us to all the grottos (Blue Grotto was closed that day). He's good natured and offers some unique surprises, our first day with him we dove for fresh sea urchins to harvest as an afternoon snack. He also brought along a wine from his small village. I'd probably skip any cave tours (he can take you to them), but they are operated by others. The one we stopped in was small and not super exciting for the EUR. Also when we were dropped off in Capri for a few hrs he connected us with a taxi driver (Giuseppe) that took us around, but charged us more than expected (quoted 120 EUR and asked for 200 EUR). Boating is clearly Pepe's passion and he did an expert job taking us around, I'd recommend him.

We chartered a boat for our family of four in July 2021 and Pepe's son, Lorenzo, took us out. Our entire family quickly fell in love with Lorzeno and his relaxed nature and ready smile that puts you at ease and sets the tone for an amazing, beautiful and memorable experience. In fact, it was one of the most incredible days of our month-long trip in Italy and the family is still talking about it as the highlight of our vacation. In our case, we chose to explore the small coves around Capri, skipping the touristy Blue Grotto, and Lorenzo knew them all and shared the folklore associated with each. We were never rushed or on a schedule and could stop to snorkel for as long as we wished whenever we wanted. We had asked for beer rather than prosecco and he had plenty with water and snacks to accompany. It certainly felt that we were with a friend. This is very fairly priced and a true value for the experience. We will certainly book another trip with them on our next trip to Marina Del Cantone. BTW, they also have a restaurant, Le Sirene and a hotel in Marina del Cantone, which we would highly recommend.

We had the fried zucchini flowers stuffed w/ goat cheese - pretty good, but honestly, pricey ($25) and not as good as the ones we get back in San Diego at Cucina Urbana. We then shared a fried assortment of shrimp and calamari, which was tasty (although not quite as good as the ones we had at Da Fernando beach club in Positano). My daughter enjoyed her fresh catch of the day - sea bream (sold by weight, $45). And we had a bottle of white local Amalfi wine that we really enjoy and is only $32/bottle, Falaghina. All in all, it was about $450 for the 3 of us for lunch, drinks, beach chairs, umbrella and boat transport ($10/person each way). But best of all was lounging on the rocks in the little cove, overlooking the beautiful towering Faraglioni rock formations, and swimming in the crystal blue waters. It's super salty, so it was effortless to just float and relax. There were about a dozen well-dressed Italian guys celebrating a bachelor party, singing and dancing, and doing shots, which added to the fun, Italian ambiance. We stayed a little over a week in Capri Town and about a week at the CA in AnnaCapri. I didn't want to leave. We booked the Chef's table at Terrazza di Lucullo, woke up to breakfast's on our private terrace, enjoyed our days in the stunning swimming pool sipping cocktails and eating oysters. We walked their gardens and snuck a few of their cherry tomatoes. We cancelled a few of our dinner reservations because we did not want to leave the property. To top it off, CA is located in AnnaCapri and fully accessible by taxi. So you don't need to walk much while here. You can also take a boat to Fontelina from here, taxi to Paolino or Il Riccio and enjoy a very easy stroll to Zuma. This is it for Capri. I can see the equivalent notoriety of Punta Tragara because of the Faraglioni view, but it loses to CA in all remaining categories. You don't have to take my word for it, you will regret it yourself on your first sweaty hike to your PT hotel lobby.
