We did not hear from so we called and she said she was sorry but it could not be repaired as it was cheap metal and also that she had misplaced it some where in her home. These are designer Ferragamo frames which cost $450 + $200 for lenses done by Hakim. Mrs. Nirmala assured us yesterday 17th Nov that she will search her home for the glasses and call us. Awful bait & switch tactics!…read more I made an appointment to look at belcher style settings for my engagement ring (a thick banded style with aggressive looking talon prongs) it's an antique style that's a bit uncommon so I double checked that they'd have a few options to show me when I came. I arrived for my appointment a few days later & not only did they not have a SINGLE belcher style ring in stock, but the associate who was assigned to me (Ms. Mclean-Mckay) seemed to have never heard of them. Even after showing her pictures of what I wanted, she tried to show me a bunch of cathedral/Tiffany/bezel ect style settings which I explained repeatedly were NOTHING like what I'd come to see. (Why on earth would they even show me a bezel setting when I specifically asked for the biggest most 'dragon claw' prongs possible?) When I'd told her I already had a cushion cut diamond on hold & was just looking for a setting, she tried to convince me to buy my diamond through them instead. (They couldn't even sell me the setting I want, why would I trust them to get my diamond after all that?) She finally admitted that they didn't carry what I wanted & couldn't order it from their wholesaler. (despite my checking on that repeatedly over the phone before I arrived) We briefly discussed having something custom designed, but the whole experience put such a bad taste in my mouth that it convinced me to go elsewhere. I will be finding an independent goldsmith who will make me a basic belcher solitaire ring without trying to sell me every other style of setting under the sun.
