At the Xenotes Tour, you get to enjoy four cenotes plus different activites at each: Ziplining, Snorkeling, Rappeling, Kayaking, Inner Tubes, and Cliff Jumping. There's also a photographer that is with us throughout the whole time capturing pictures of everyone in our group. They also provided two meals, the first one was pastries and beverages (water, soda, hot chocolate, and coffee) and the last one was a full on buffet spread (salad, cheese, meats, bread, water, soda and beer). Our tour guide, Manny was amazing and he made the trip very memorable. He was very helpful with my mother in law and my little son. He guided the group from beginning to end and made the trip to all four cenotes a breeze. We all had a fantastic time and we even purchased the pictures at the end. Aside from the photographer, I recommend bringing a water case for your phone and a GoPro! We got so many amazing videos with my husband's GoPro. I cannot express how fun this excursion was and would definately do it again. Tips: Wear a swimsuit, water shoes and comfortable clothing on the bus and for after. Towels are provided. Bring cash to tip your tour guide for an amazing time. The cenotes are located in the middle of the jungle so cell phone service is not available.

At lunchtime, on the taco menu with the package, you only got 4 out of the 8 tacos, and the tacos were horrible. They were dry and had almost nothing, and almost no flavor. And the salesperson was really pushy about everything. The photos were super expensive too. Over all fun experience but horrible food.

Absolutely horrible experience…read more I had booked a private transfer from Cancun to Playa Mujeres. I arrived and there was nobody waiting for me. I therefore had to use my phone in Mexico (something I was not planning on doing) to contact the Tour Operator. I was told there was an issue with the reservation getting into their system and to hold on. After about 20 minutes they told me that it would be at least an hour before they could get anyone to me. That they would cancel this trip and issue me a refund and that I could find a Taxi. Obviously I would not use this company to return to the airport and booked with a different company. Now, had this company wanted to even attempt to make things right, they should have informed me to book a taxi, and they would pay for that taxi. The trip I booked via Viator was $118. The Taxi Cost me about $147 for one way and the return trip with a different company was $75. So, essentially this company could have offered to pay for the taxi (they would not have had to pay for the cost of their driver or their transportation). So, for maybe an out of pocket expense to them of under $100 they could have maybe had a little better review. But, I did request and get a refund. The company responded to me, "We apologize, there was indeed an error in the automated system entry; however, we have approved 100% of the refund. We regret the inconvenience and remain at your service. Best regards!" User beware if you are using this company.

We chose the Cenotes, Mayan ruins and snorkeling excursion. The $170 excursion included lunch, cold water, snacks, transportation from our resort in Playa Del Carman, tour guide. The 3 part excursion lasted from 745 to 3 PM. Highly recommend bringing towels, bug spray, water proof phone case, snacks and if you choose the Cenotes bring a flash light if you arent a fan of the dark. My friends and I really enjoyed our experience. Everything was organized. We had plenty of time to ourselves to explore and overall we felt really safe. We booked on Trip Advisor to get the price of $170. I'd recommend going through maybe your resort or hotel to see if you can get an additional discount.

Great company to go and swim with whale sharks. Keep in mind these are only here in season…read more (Starting around June 1st - September 15th) The downside to coming to Mexico to swim with the Whale Sharks is you have to wear those ridiculous life vests, but in Isla Mujeres it's almost a guaranteed sighting. Due to government regulations no free diving . The life vest makes it seem like more of a tourist trap than pelagic adventures in other countries. Still a great experience to be in the water with such magical creatures.

The boat ride to get to the sharks can be long (approx. 1 - 1.5 hours) but worth it. Our guide Felipe explained what we can do and what we cant do once we get to the whale sharks. Once a whale shark was spotted, the captain dropped us in the water, perfectly positioned to see the whale shark. Once we returned, we stopped at Playa Norte (some the prettiest water I have ever seen in my life) and they made some fresh ceviche for everyone on board. The weather for this excursion prevented us from going snorkeling, so they just let us cruise in the fast boats for 2 hours thru the marinas, bays, shorelines and mangroves of Cancun. So much fun. Through a bit of overzealousness on our part, we arrived 45 minutes early, only to find out the tour was cancelled to do...maybe the wind? The boats and snorkeling weren't possible to go out. A few of us cancelled, but some decided they wanted to still do the trip the following day (our last day), but we asked them to please notify us in case it was cancelled beforehand so they didn't have to take another bus ride for no reason. I emailed the morning of, because of the strong winds all throughout the night. I did receive an email back, saying they hadn't heard if the tour was going to take place but I'd be notified in case of something had changed. Welp, those that were going had no choice to leave and hop on the bus for their tour...only to find out, the snorkeling part was cancelled, but they could do the boat ride if they wanted. Since snorkeling was their main reason for going, they decided to cancel. It would have been great to know this before hand. The refunds were processed pretty promptly and we were grateful for that, but it's a shame there wasn't much communication that wasted time (and money) that could have used for something else both times.

They made us feel comfortable, and made our day so enjoyable. It is a guided, organized experience so you're guaranteed to do everything that you signed up for. Barely any wait, and you're basically with the same group the whole time. The light 'snack', is a turkey sandwich, and then you get lunch (tacos/fajitas) at the end. There's a very cool bar, the place itself is picture worthy, you feel like you're in a tree house! Highly recommend doing this. There are lockers there, but can't bring phones on most of the activities. There are photographers (hanging from zip lines!), and photos for purchase at the end. $100, however they came with nearly 150 photos, worth the purchase. The buffet is nothing special--average at best. The fries, in particular, are almost always cold and soggy, thanks to a heating system that doesn't keep up, even when food is freshly made. It's the kind of food that fills you up but doesn't leave an impression. A few tips to help you make the most of your trip: * Buy tickets online in advance - This helps you skip the lines and sometimes score a small discount. * Avoid visiting during election season - Due to Mexican law, no alcohol is served during this time, even at tourist locations. If part of your plan is to sip a drink by the water, plan around that. * Skip the timeshare presentation - While it might sound like a good deal (free breakfast + discounted or free tickets), it's really just a pitch to buy into a discount program. Then they tried to insinuate that it was our fault that we missed our bus a 5-minute checkout turned into a 30 minute checkout because a f****** on their part. on the drive back from xoximilco, there was a group of about 10 people that were clearly intoxicated, being very disruptive and nothing was done about it. Skip the timeshare presentation they told us that we would get a $400 massage and it turned out to be maybe a $70 massage also they say it's an hour and a half from beginning to end and it took over 2 1/2 hours. The all-inclusive is definitely worth it if you eat a lot and drink a lot which is something we did. on our last night there we went to restaurant that supposedly had the tomahawk steaks come to find out they didn't they had sent their meats to another restaurant so that was very disappointing.
