They have a little bit of everything--from fresh juices and smoothies to healthy bowls and other great options. Everything I've had has been fresh, delicious, and makes you feel good about what you're putting into your body. What really stands out to me is the service. The employees are always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I've visited multiple locations and have never had a bad experience. Great food, great people, and a great company overall. Located in the Indio neighborhood this is a great place to grab sushi to go. We ordered cucumber roll, dragon, and California roll. The menu is posted on the wall- there are no descriptions of the rolls, but the staff knew all the ingredients when asked about the rolls. The selections of boba tea will make it hard to choose! Sushi is on par with the price, the cucumber rolls were not rolled as tight, so it resulted them coming apart when we opened the package up. The California roll needed more avocado. read more

I really liked the Hibiscus tea!! I added chia seeds and aloe vera in addition to the boba pearls and it was SO good. Super refreshing on a hot summer day. Too bad its all the way in palm desert somewhere and I live in the OC. lol I went with one of my gfs to get some food before we hit the road from Coachella, and I didn't know that it'd be so cute. I'm a boba FIEND so once I saw it popped up on yelp I had to have it :) I had the lavender milk tea with boba (boba isn't extra) and a mixed fish poke bowl. The boba tea was around $5-$6 and the mixed fish bowl totaled up to be like $12 with a few cents. The Lady that rang us up was such a sweetheart. My friend is a vegetarian and wanted the tofu poke bowl, but since the tofu hadn't arrived yet, she couldn't have it. But the lady did offer my friend other alternatives until she got something she loved :) The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the poke bowl I had lacked a little bit more fish and it was sort of drenched in the sauce they put. Although the sauce was amazing, maybe too much of a good thing? But definitely pass by this spot if you're around for some good customer service and boba :) read more

Really dissatisfied with the service I received today. Hadnt been coming here for a while now due to increasingly bad quality and rude service Ive been receiving the last visits but this last one really makes me not want to come anymore. They ran out of practically everything including BOBA and when I asked for a refund for the item I couldn't receive, the cashiers were visibly annoyed and not really apologetic. We also sat & enjoyed the ambience along with the wonderful air conditioner! Much appreciated! As we sat, we noticed a number of people coming in to order their sushie, some were phone orders for pick-up. I could tell that their customers are repeats. The locals here are lucky. This place has some pretty delicious milk tea... the different flavors I have tried are all very good and not too overly sweet or bland; you can order the teas with or without boba pearls. Both the Taro and Honeydew flavored teas are definitely my favorites and is one of the only places that I can honestly say have really nailed the flavors. They also have some other teas that are pretty good and refreshing; their hisbicus tea is worth a try. My least favorite part of this little place is the food... including the fruit. It is a little overpriced and sometimes the fruit is over-ripened and overpowers the flavors in some of their fruit salads. The sushi is not my favorite. It's not bad but it's not my favorite... I was craving a Taro smoothie and gave this place a shot. I've been to plenty of places here in the valley that sell boba drinks but have not liked how the texture of the boba taste , kinda soft on the outside but still hard and kinda of still frozen in the center. I usually have to go to a Vietnamese restaurant in la quinta to just get a good boda drink. But I'm glad I found this place. It's a bit closer to me and plenty of different flavors to choose from. The cups are a good size and served with just the right amount of boba. And the texture of the boba just perfect, soft and not hard at all! This place gives you many flavors to choose from like, Milk teas, iced teas, smoothies, slushes, Frappuccinos, and they have pitaya bowls served with strawberries, bananas, mango... you choose! But they also have food:Vietnamese sandwich, a ahí pokí salad, dragon rolls, etc. Desserts: macaroons cheesecake, fruits in a cup, etc. It's a nice small place to come and relax on a sunny day. Boba in the desert has been lacking since Lollicup went out of business. Not anymore! On our most recent visit to the area, my husband and I checked out Island Boba & Tea. They have a ton of flavors and add-ons to choose from. The guy working the counter was helpful as we considered our selections. I finally settled on a lavender milk tea with regular boba. The tea was just the right amount of milky and sweet. The consistency of the boba was nearly perfect, but ever-so-slightly too chewy. It may have been a one-off batch and it wouldn't stop me from grabbing bubble tea here again. My husband and I noticed they also sell sushi rolls and poke bowls! With such an extensive menu, I will definitely be back for more boba, and we will have to try out their food the next time we are visiting family in the area. read more

We remembered this shop and stopped in for a visit our drive out to AZ. Drinks are all yummy and the staff is friendly. We love that there is a great selection of flavors for teas and drinks.
