Lots of fun and cool drinks. They still have seasonal drinks so my friend got a gingerbread chai...I think it was and she said it was delicious. I had the opt for something with no sugar and tried the roasted oolong, but that didn't taste great so they changed it for the Jasmine tea which was so much better and I got to enjoy that with my friend while we played Jenga and vibed out to the awesome playlist they were playing. Was such a great treat for a warm day! They had so many options which was alittle overwhelming but they did have something for everyone! I've been going here from time to time and usually get the matcha or jasmine tea. This time, my mom tried the strawberry matcha, but it wasn't as good. It tasted a bit more sour than sweet and the strawberry didn't really complement the matcha. I was craving a Taro boba milk tea and tried this place for the first time. Everything looked so good so I got 2 drinks (one Taro and one Strawberry Matcha). I wish they had options to sample before buying. The Taro milk tea was amazing and I love the honey boba on the bottom. The strawberry matcha was recommended by the worker with the strawberry popping boba and it was not good. I usually love matcha but didn't like the earthy flavor. Also, the popping boba was not the same as traditional boba. Overall, I would go again. The place was really cute! While we waited they had games to play which was awesome while waiting! This was my first time here and so I tried their taro hokaido blended with boba , taro blended and strawberry milk tea with strawberry boba. This place has a bit more variety in boba flavors which was a nice change as most boba places I go just has honey boba or brown sugar. Loved the sturdy containers with a straw cap. Tea Be Honest, I don't recommend this place. We were so disappointed!! We specifically came here to try out new boba spots we haven't been to since we're not from the area and this was one of the top ones. Reviews and ratings were high and convinced us to come! They even had cute cups... but really, they're just all cup. We got there pretty early since we had a big day ahead of us and wanted to grab something for our trip. I still needed my coffee for the morning and settled on some kind of salted caramel cold brew since they didn't have very many selections, coffee-wise, on the menu. My bf usually gets the Hokkaido milk tea but they only had some kind of blended one with taro? He asked the young lady working there and she said they could do it. He went for their large cup since it was just so "extra" and out of the norm. It's a very tall and slim cup that is way bigger than your average large. We sat down and waited for our drinks which came out in a few minutes. I snapped some pics in front of their cute little vine wall decor up front and then started drinking it. It tasted like it had gone bad? I don't even know how to describe it. It tasted like there was no coffee at all, pure sweetness, and just overall tasted off. I even ordered extra boba because that's how I like it. The boba had a nice texture, nothing crazy but that's about the only good thing about the drink. I ended up not even taking another sip and dumping it out. I bought an iced latte from another cafe and added the boba into it to try to salvage it. It wasn't perfect, still had that weird flavor lingering but at least I could have some boba in my drink. My bf drank a bit of his but even that was pure sweetness. No tea. It had NO TEA. I'm not sure what kind of brew they use for their drinks, we noticed some said dairy free and we avoided those specifically because we've had bad experiences from other places that offered that. Something just isn't right. Maybe that's how most boba places are around here and that's what everyone is used to? So sad!! Y'all need to get better boba places out here. We're from LA where there are a ton of different ones but they're good and at least drinkable. Sad to leave a 1 star on a boba place. I love this spot! I've been coming here ever since they opened. I always order either the taro mt, lemon lavender or strawberry matcha mt. It always tastes so good. Service is always great. For the very few boba/tea shops in Palm Desert, this place isn't bad. The drinks are on the sweater side though so maybe ask for less sweet if you don't like things super sweet. My friend got the matcha latte and said it was good. I got the ice blended with mango and strawberry 50% sweet. It tasted a bit watery but I appreciate it wasn't overly sweet. I also appreciate the fact that they can reduce the sugar level on your drink as well. Not totally diabetic friendly, but better to try one with less sugar than no drink at all. The vibe is casual, family friendly and good music usually. The staff always hustles to make your drinks fast, but it also slightly compromises the customer service, which is somewhat understandable, but that's the reason why I took away a star. I sure wish Montana had a place like this! We were looking for some tea while on a recent trip to Palm Desert, and we stumbled upon Tea Be Honest. The reviews were all pretty good and it was less than a mile from where we were, so we decided to stop. Both drinks we ordered were delicious! They even come in a cup that can be reused. Let's just say we brought them both back to Montana with us. All the items on the menu looked so good so it made it hard to choose. Wide selection of teas and friendly staff. Their tapioca had great texture, not too hard or too soft, really some of the best I've had. I found the default level of sweetness to be a bit higher than I'm used to in the Hokkaido, it masked the flavor of the tea. Sorry to say that Tea Be Honest was a miss for me. I came in on Sunday night New Year's Day and they had a flow of people coming in and leaving. I ordered two regular Dirty Milk Teas, one with boba and another one with egg pudding. I did ask for 75% sugar level (which may have thrown off the drink). Unfortunately both milk teas were really overthrown by the creamer. It had more creamer than tea ratio. Could've have been a one off. read more
