They did a great job altering my boyfriend's new slacks and at an affordable price with friendly service. Their pricing is pretty good all around and the turnaround is quick. It's nice that they're open early so we can drop things off en route to work. The only con is that they're closed on Sunday (when we typically are doing most of our errands around town). read more

Island Cleaners saved my wedding day! One of my bridesmaids lives out of the country and did not get to try on her dress until she arrived the night before as the website did not ship to the UK. Despite her giving the website her measurements for a custom order the dress arrived needing a major alteration. I emailed Island Cleaners via Yelp the night before my wedding and awoke to a response. The owner Tracy is amazing and arranged for their talented seamstress Janet to meet my bridesmaid first thing. My family did not think there was enough fabric for the dress to be let out and the alteration would probably not look the best, but we would have been happy with whatever honestly- as long as the bridesmaid could wear it. To our surprise, the seamstress worked their magic and once the dress was altered it fit perfectly and looked like it was supposed to. Within a couple hours the dress was fixed and the tailor even dropped it by our hotel! I'm forever grateful to Island Cleaners for quickly responding, being so friendly and talented. What was the worst case scenario on my end was fixed by a business and in the best possible way. As a result I got to enjoy my eventful morning and was stress free while getting ready for my big day. Absolutely horrible experience picking up 3 items i needed shortened. Not altered in any other way. When I asked about the pricing dropping off the dresses I was quoted 30.00 maybe 45.00 tops. Which is usually about average for any other item I have had shortened anywhere else. I come to pick up my items and am charged 80.00 which is completely insane for what I requested. I didn't have anything special requested other than take 3 inches off the bottom of my outfits. I did express to the person working I would not be returning and that they need to be more up front with fees. He did offer to call his manager however I was on my way to the airport so didn't take him up on the offer. I an hoping the alterations have been done to decent standards as I have yet to even look at them. ******I should also state per the response that I was only offered a credit on dry cleaning to remove my bad review. Which makes me think that all previous bad reviews were paid to be removed. Also, I do understand that there could be miscommunication but I will guarantee I was not quoted a per item amount as I asked what my total would be. I appreciate it being completed in the time it was done and even noted to the person working that I would of paid more than 30-45 for them being so accommodating. My complaint is that pricing is not clear and I was quoted approx 30-50 dollars lower. The person the next day even told me that this happens all the time and he hates quoting ppl because pricing isn't always accurate. We moved to these cleaners after the ones we realized that our previous one didn't press clothes very well. We have been using Island Cleaners for the last 6 months and have been nothing but happy with them! They have my husband's clothes turned around in 2 days max, and the clothes are pressed and ready to wear. We did have a pair of pants fixed (pockets were coming out at the seam) and they sent them off to get them fixed. We didn't get them back for 20 days, which was MUCH longer than we (or Island Cleaners) expected. They did not charge us for the repair since it took so long. Not many places have this good of customer service anymore. They stand behind their services, so I would recommend others using them for their services. read more

Amazing service! I got my suit cleaned and dropped off a couple shirts to get altered for my company Christmas party. They went out of their way to make sure I was able to pick my suit and shirts up after hours so I would have them for my Christmas party. I could not be happier with Island Cleaners! I was very hesitant to take a few of my nicer items to a dry cleaners with the fear of how they would turn out, especially since some were expensive curtains and slip covers from my home... but my fears were pointless because this place went above and beyond. Not only were my items cared for very well, they all turned great! The customer service was amazing and more than I would ever expect. This dry cleaners is almost a 30 minute drive for me, and I don't care. I won't use anyone else now that I've found them. Very accommodating. I like to wash my shirts and bring them into have them pressed by hand and they charge the same amount even though it's much more work for them. $2.25 a shirt to hand press them. Jen is a Rock Star! The reason I wash my own shirts is otherwise they have a machine does the press. and It seems to easily break my second to the top button. Not every time but once is enough when you're planning on wearing the shirt that night, only to find that you can't because of a broken button. I also am not a very sweaty smelly kind of guy and my clothes are pretty clean so I only need a light wash and it seems like my shirts last longer if I do them myself. Less wear and tear if I wash them at home. read more

Needed a suit and three shirts cleaned and a pair of pants hemmed for a wedding, told them I needed the within a few days cause it was a destination wedding, and boom pants came out the perfect length and the shirts looked amazing for the weekend! I was in a pickle with two weeks of conferences out of town and a wedding in between. With only two suits in my closet, i needed them dry cleaned early monday morning. They were the only place that coule put a rush on my garments and had them ready for me a couple hours after dropoff, prior to my flight leaving. Great family owned business. This will be the only cleaners I go to as long as I live in the area. The customer service is incredible. I tried them for the first time the other day, and had dropped all my suits off to be cleaned for an important trip I am leaving on tomorrow. I hadn't paid close enough attention to their hours (completely my fault) and showed up after they were closed to pick my suits up. I was nearly having a panic attack trying to figure out where I could get new suits purchased and tailored with less than a day before my trip when the owner responded to a message I had sent on Facebook as a last ditch effort. She assured me they would help me and put in the effort to call multiple employees until she could find one that was able to meet me tonight so I could pick up my suits and be ready for my trip tomorrow. Hands down the best dry cleaners in the area, I used the same cleaner for 4 years in Chandler. It changed ownership and they literally went from the dry cleaners I would drive 30 minutes out of my way to, to a cleaners I would never recommend. Quick, efficient, and caring service. A superb dry cleaner! I travel for work frequently and often need quick turnaround on suits and dress shirts. I can drop off anytime before closing, and they have everything ready by 5pm the next day at no extra charge. I came to them originally many years ago after having used one of their chain competitors who often got my order wrong or late, charged more, and on a couple of occasions even ripped shirts. With Island, I found excellent service, great prices, and friendly and helpful staff. We started using island cleaners when we moved to Chandler in January of this year and I am very pleased with them. Usually if I take his shirts before or around 10 am they are ready the next day by 5 pm! Since I am a stay at home mom I usually always have my 1.5 year old with me, so they're drive up window is very helpful for me! They also have a 24 hour drop box for you to drop stuff into if it's before or after they closed. They are also open until 7, which is very convenient. After about two weeks of regularly going one of the ladies started to recognize my car and would have our stuff when she came out to greet me. All the employees seem to be very friendly. Forgot to review back in December, but my fiance and my brother in law both dropped their wrinkled suits in my lap the afternoon on the day prior to our company Holiday party and asked me to get them cleaned and pressed for them...by the following day. In a state of panic, I frantically searched for a place that would fulfill a last minute request and I came across Island Cleaners. I called and the employee told me he could have them ready for me in the morning, no problem. I dropped two 3 piece suits and 2 shirts off within the hour. The employee was SO friendly and he even went out of his way to give me extra advice on launder care. There was a tag in one of the suits that identified the materials used to make it, which I almost cut out, but he told me it was a good idea to keep them in so that dry cleaners would know how to properly care for them. The price was very affordable and the suits were ready in the morning, as promised, looking perfect! I need to go get my office clothes cleaned and pressed for work on Monday, and I'll be heading right over to Island Cleaners. I've had some downright HORRIBLE dry cleaning experiences in the past and I've tried many throughout the Valley - Island Cleaners has made a customer for life out of me. read more
