After my 1st month in my unit had an attempted burglary someone broke my lock off and jammed the lever luckily they couldn't get in. The only positive is the manager Travis trying to make things right by moving me to a different unit however the company decided to raise every one's rates $60 more including mines. Really bad business to raise rates more so with someone that just moved in and attempted burglary. I moved to another storage company at the old Kmart location in which I found a lot more convenient and cheaper and they won't raise the rates on you every month. Extra space storage is losing customers to competition because of raising prices unexpectedly.

Totally expected since it's at the airport but I would most likely pass on the food and drinks are the airport next time around. But overall, Kahului Airport is a lovely airport. A nice feature is the ability to walk through pool area onto the narrow beach. The hotel is near the harbor, so the quality of the water is uncertain. The primary reason for the three star rating is the poor maintenance of the annex building where our room was. The exterior of the annex clearly needs improvement. Our room had lots chipped paint and wood finishes. The bathroom door was missing some of its painted veneer. The bathroom had been repainted but there were paint splashes on the mirror wood trim. The bathroom ventilation did not work. The curved shower curtain rod over the tub was loose on the wall and bending slightly toward the floor, as if someone had tried to do chin ups on it. The end of the shower curtain kept sliding down the curved curtain rod and away from the wall, which made it impossible to not get water on the floor. The air conditioner cycled on and off in a very annoying fashion. The compressor came on and ramped up to speed and the fan would blow for 30 to 60 seconds and then it shut down only to repeat the process in another five minutes or so. We probably should have set the fan to a continuous setting, but it honestly didn't occur to us. There was no daily maid service during our 2-night stay unless we requested it. All in all, our stay was fine, but not great.

They cut off several people from getting through security when we're checking in for our flight then everything was so delayed it didn't make sense. The days of leis and good food are over. I know they just merged with Alaska hopefully things get better? We will probably choose delta or maybe even...southwest!! Ugh Flight attendants were very nice though!

We've flown them between Oahu to Maui & the Big Island, but have never been to Kauai (yet). On a recent flight from Daniel K. Inouye airport (HNL) to Kahului (OGG), it was a short 100 mile flight taking less than 1/2 hr. You barely get up to cruising altitude, served a prepackaged cup of Passion Fruit/Guava juice and then prep for landing. There is no time in between for snacks. The airfare for inter-island travel is very affordable at a current average of $150 roundtrip. I'll bet that barely covers the fuel plus the juice cup. The planes are the smaller twin engine Boeing 717 (used to be McDonnell-Douglas MD-88) short haul jets that hop back and forth multiple times a day, that they only service them when they land in Oahu. Pro-Tip: Be careful when you open your sealed cup of Passion Fruit/Guava juice because its internal pressure is at sea level while the cabin pressure is at 8000 ft. It will squirt out if you don't open the foil cover slowly to equalize the pressure.

Room & Comfort: Once we got our keys, we were pleasantly surprised by the room. It was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-equipped with great amenities, including a TV, a microwave, and a convenient pull-out desk. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we all got a great night's sleep. As someone who is particular about hotel bathrooms, I was thrilled--it was the perfect size, and the water pressure in the shower (which is important to me!) was excellent. Location & Convenience: You really can't beat this location. It is literally minutes away from the airport and right next door to Costco, which is a huge plus for stocking up. Because we arrived so late and needed to grab dinner, we were relieved to find plenty of fast food options and food trucks right nearby. Overall Value: This hotel is absolutely perfect for families. It is reasonably priced, and the four of us fit comfortably without feeling cramped. If you need a clean, comfortable, and highly convenient place to stay near the Kahului airport, look no further. Ok sidetrack a little back to the hotel do you know this courtyard by Marriott was build in 2012. That's how long I didn't come to Maui wow! Conveniently located right outside the airport ground w/free shuttle as well . Nice 4 story hotel with a pool , outdoor fire pit for relaxing also a fitness center . In the lobby they also have a nice bistro . Marriott courtyard brand is not a 5 star hotel it's one of Marriott medium brand mostly like a business hotel not for long stayers. Right across from the hotel is Costco and walking distance to Krispy Kreme. Also what i experienced the food truck lot right next door to the hotel . I'm giving this hotel a 5 Star because customer service is suburb along with its convenient location. I received customer service once I arrived normally most hotels check in at 3pm. I got to the courtyard Marriott around 1:30pm the front desk gave me my room already . On top of that my flight departed Maui at 2:45pm so I requested a later check out they honored that as well . Check out normally is at 11am. I checked out @ 1:00pm. Only downside is that this hotel charges parking $15 a day . It's ok although if you're staying awhile it could add up ?
