We still ordered, I asked for jerk chicken dinner with gravy over the rice, was unaware that it was BBQ/Jerk but it was still decent and the rice had NO gravy over it. It took exactly 52 minutes for us to get an order of Jerk Mac & Cheese, Brown Stew Snapper and a Chicken Soup. Apparently they gave our order to another customer but no one came out to inform us until we asked. Very poor service and on Mother's Day. Received the order and there was no spoon for my soup, one container wasn't properly closed, which left the entire bag filled with grease. I would not recommend this location. Today, Dec 14, 2023, I ordered food from this location for my department's office holiday party, and the staff LOVED the food. I ordered jerk chicken, sweet & sour chicken, fried whiting, veggie stir fry, veggie chunks (rundown), cocktail beef patties, plantains, rice & peas, and potato salad and a mixture of assorted sodas. My only con was that they didn't deliver my order until 11:10 a.m. (the party started @11a.m) even though I requested a 1030a delivery, it wasn't a total loss because the food came nice and hot. read more

ordered from door dash from the loch raven location and received 1 of 3 of my items. stopped the driver before he drove off and said I'm missing items he says the bag said it's all In there. I contact door dash and within seconds of filing a dispute I'm denied and my case is closed. First, the wait was too long but I figured they were cooking to order. I got salmon and what they called seasoned rice (a la cart). The salmon was overcooked and dry. The "seasoned" rice was plain white rice with frozen mixed vegetables barely seasoned but without island flavor. The plantain seemed like an afterthought. She guided us through our order since we were conflicted in what to get. They had a Easter Fish Fry Dinner for the weekend so we decided to give it a try. It was so delicious! I did my order online and it said 45 minutes it would be ready. I still got there 15 minutes later and it still wasn't ready. I had to wait an additional 7 minutes. Mind you I was waiting in line for the people in front of me to get there orders. So that was 5-8 more minutes. The young lady at the register informed me they were busy. That I could understand thats why I came a little later. I think they should inform the apps that the orders are taking longer, so you won't be waiting around. FYI: this review is for their catering. I got 90% of my thanksgiving food catered by them (jerk turkey, rice and peas, plantain) and it was reasonably good. The turkey was a tad dry but it came with sauce. I got their jerk turkey again for Christmas catering and even though there was a mix up with my order they went above and beyond to rectify it....and the turkey came out phenomenal. I travelled with it wrapped in Saran Wrap, froze it, reheated it 6 days later for Christmas and it was juicy and flavorful! My family love it! read more

The food is always good. Kadeem was very friendly on the phone. I arrived in my work scrubs and got a little fried from the cashier because I didn't have a work ID. We don't have work ID but I will be sure to put an old one in my bag since coming in my work clothes isn't enough for a $2 discount. I've had plenty of brown stewed everything and this is the first time I have had a sweet and tangy brown stew. I can taste the ketchup and I hate sweet sauce on my fish especially. Long story short I ordered the kingfish brown stewed, I should have listened to my gut and went with escovitch, but I'm cutting back on fried foods. I placed a delivery order with Island Quizine. I never received my order they called me and asked if I ever got my food I told them no. They proceeded to tell me door dash stole my food. I told them I didn't order through door dash I ordered directly with Island Quizine they selected door dash as their delivery company. This order was over 100 dollars so I proceed to go up to the store to either get my money back or food. Once I got there they told me they just canceled the order and I'll get a refund from door dash 3 -5 business days. The customer service I received from them was terrible they tried nothing to accommodate not even offering me my food as a courtesy or giving me another option.
